Love this place. Great local spot in a great setting with good food.

Wonderful, quaint, charm! We made reservations to celebrate an 80th birthday, and they went above and beyond! From setting up decorations, and letting us bring in a special cake for our large group. A wonderful gift and sandwich shop. The whole staff made you feel welcome. Such a nice place for a wonderful afternoon! Worth the hour drive.

The Dove's Nest is one of the best restaurants in Waxahachie. The service is fast and very professional. The food is outstanding!

Everything seems to be fine, but there are some staff that needs to observe but still good customer service!!

Since I'm on vacation I decided to go to waxahachie and walk around town. My friend and I decided to have lunch at doves best but never got seated. The hostess seated a lot a people before us, so we decided to leave. Never coming back. And I will tell friends to avoid this place.

So the food was really delicious. However not one person in that place had a mask on. None of the staff. It kinda seemed like a slap in the face. I was down from Oregon because my dad had literally just died from COVID at Baylor Waxahachie on 12/09 (he was only 54 with no previous health conditions). I reluctantly ate there because my dear friend wanted me to try it and like I said the food WAS good but I felt like they are trying to prove something by not wearing masks and it is honestly just sad. Get over yourselves.

Great little place, and the service treats you like family

Cindy and the entire Doves made our wedding day amazing. I planned the wedding from out of state and Cindy guided me to success. From the moment I walked into the Doves Nest to the end of the night I was amazed by the attention to detail given to every aspect of the wedding from the table set up, food, professional staff, all the way to the flowers and decorations. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. We had the beef tenderloin, with mashed potatoes, and asparagus. The meat was tender, the sides perfectly seasoned, and the food came out hot. Our experience could not have been better! We highly recommend The Doves Nest for an exception meal, catering, or event.

Didn't eat at the restaurant this time, but the shop is super cute and employees were very patient and helpful while I had my 2yo with me.

The Doves Nest panini is absolutely wonderful. I really enjoy the orange spice tea also.

The jalapeno BLT was so good and the Squash and cheddar soup is a new favorite for me!! Very nice atmosphere and when you are done eating you can shop all the beautiful gifts!
