We got married here November 2017 and the whole process and set up was AMAZING. We never had to worry about a thing with our coordinator, Kim. The food was so impressive (our guests still talk about how good the food was- even our cake!), the design is beautiful, and we even got to stay in a suite on our wedding night. It is so luxurious, clean, and elegant. We highly recommend Delafield for weddings, overnight stays, or a romantic getaway!

Everything about this hotel was a pleasant surprise. The room, the bed, the shower (!), the trendy decor, the secure garage where the valet parked our car overnight, but my highest praise goes to the courteous, professional staff. We look forward to our next visit.

This place has been recently bought out and put under new ownership which was long overdue. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Huge renovations are occurring to make the hotel feel more modern and upscale. There is a nice hotel restaurant and bar. However, the restaurant stops serving food at 9 pm but you can still drink into the wee hours of the night. Every room I have stayed in has had a huge bathroom with a tv in it and a huge whirlpool tub and a shower with 6 different heads.

I ve visited Delafield Hotel a few times on a different occasions. The venue is beautifully decorated; unique and cozy. Staff ( receptionist, banquet manager, servers) are very helpful and nice! ID restaurant has amazing decor, love the chandeliers!!! I enjoy the space, atmosphere and food! The Delafield- highly recommended:)

This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. The rooms are top notch and the beds are very cozy, but the best part is the shower. It has standard, overhead rain and body spray heads. Very enjoyable stay.

Kim and the entire staff at Delafield made our dream wedding come true. I was an out of state bride and I had limited time to come back to Wisconsin to plan. I had looked at 6 venues when I was visiting, and Delafield Hotel was second on my list that day. After five minutes sitting with Kim I knew The Delafield Hotel was going to be my venue. Food and Bev on site, an amazing remodel that showcases an elegant and classy day, coat check, and valet parking, but at a price that is affordable. I was blown away. Communication with Kim was probably the easiest part of my wedding planning process. She returned my calls or my emails within the workday, she was always pleasant and funny, and I really felt like I had a bond with her during my 20 month engagement. When my wedding day came, Kim was there for all of it, assisting me, double checking everything, she even came to me during my reception and ordered me to eat dinner before i passed out. I truly loved working with Kim. She is an amazing wedding professional. I will recommend The Delafield Hotel to EVERYONE.

I was recently here for a professional event. The accommodations were very nice and the food was delicious. I did not get an opportunity to take in the bar/restaurant at the hotel, but it looked amazing and I'll be going back soon to do so. Definitely recommend this location for a professional or social event.

Overall the room was dirty. Door ends had visible finger dirt, remote was covered in particulate, carpet had a stain, TV frame was broken, desks we're splattered with something and there was a decent layer of dust on just about everything, even the lamps. Not much in the menu was appealing either. The bar staff was the redeeming point, they were super friendly. The tub and shower were good as well. Not to be picky but for the super high price, these are issues that shouldn't even be happening. Additionally, the hotel staff was playing on their phones while checking us out, not good optics. Finally, there was a massive gap from floor to door on our unit. This may be due to some code but it was very invasive. The manager did seem concerned and stated they would address the issues.

I was there for a wedding and the reception space is beautiful! It's all very elegantly decorated and there is a lovely outdoor patio area. The people at the front desk were very helpful and the space was clean. I also saw a suite while I was there and it was gigantic! All very modern and sleek decorations throughout the hotel. There is also plenty of parking. I highly recommend it there.

We were met at the door by a uniformed cadet from St John's Military Academy for our company Christmas party. The food and the facilities were top notch. The staff was very friendly and the service was excellent.

It was a great hotel and very accommodating, I enjoyed my stay very much. I only wish all of the rooms came with a mini fridge and a microwave. It was a bit annoying when my fiance and I wanted to store some leftover food and drinks from a night out and could not.

Cute, elegant atmosphere throughout. The entire hotel smells wonderful and the decor' is very classy. The beds were comfy and the rooms were huge. The shower and bath tub were both huge and very relaxing. Stagg was helpful and friendly and the restaurant on site was adorable and delicious. I would definitely stay here again.

From the moment we stepped into this hidden gem, we knew this would be the place we would get married. Kim Ash, is exceptional! Our parents and us were given a tour of the beautiful venue and we immediately fell in love and moved forward with booking the date (even before seeing the pricing- which we were so pleasantly surprised by as well!). The venue is a perfect mix of charming, modern, warm, elegant and is in a perfect location. Not to mention, how fun it was that we had the opportunity to buy out the hotel so that all 38 rooms would be occupied by our guests only. We have stayed in many hotels, and I have never seen rooms as beautiful, luxurious, and spacious as this. I.D., the restaurant and bar, is connected to the hotel and venue as well which is beautiful, classy, delicious, convenient- a great place for our guests to enjoy some food and cocktails before cocktail hour and post reception. We took our bridal party photos in there as well! Kim made the preparation for the wedding seamless. The woman knows every answer! You would have thought we were her only bride and groom because she gave us her full, undivided attention. We had the pleasure of working with her for 1 year during our engagement and there was not a single time that she didn t respond with a few hours, didn t know an answer, and didn t make me feel like her top priority. Our food tasting was wonderful and following it, she sat us down and planned the entire evening with us. The invoice included pricing for meals and the open bar (which her estimate was spot on!) and a list of the services and decor we requested, as well as an itinerary for the evening. Kim let us set up our own venue due to a slower wedding season, which was very special for us. She let us do our thing and would periodically check on us and give us her tasteful advice. This alleviated a ton of work and stress as everything was set and ready to go before the weekend. The Delafield Hotel staff are such can do people who put the finishing touches on the venue for us, including lighting the candles, displaying the dessert table and including the beautiful linens and chair covers. They said yes to any request we had to make our vision perfect. Kim and the hotel staff brought our fairytale wedding to reality on the day. Kim and the staff adhered to the itinerary to ensure the events of the evening were on time. She even suggested a butler passed Old Fashion service during cocktail hour, which was a huge hit! The food was delicious (salmon, chicken, and sweet potato cakes), and their baker made beautiful and delicious cake and cupcakes (we were allowed to have 4 different flavor choices!). The service was exceptional and one of our favorite parts was seeing the servers walk out with our plates in a choreographed manner and watch for Kim s arm to go up so they could set the places in front of us at the same time. We were able to pick from a variety of snacks for our late night food and we picked the nacho/fracho (fries and nacho) bar which was also a huge hit! The staff offered to clean up and box all of the decor around 11pm, which was incredibly nice and they kept I.D. open for our guests to go after the reception until 2:30am! Our honeymoon suite was absolutely beautiful (we will definitely be spending our anniversaries there for a staycation) and we were welcomed with cupcakes, champagne, and a handwritten note from Kim. We love details and there was not one that they missed that weekend. Thank you, Delafield Hotel, for a truly blissful and magical evening.

I got married in November and had some interesting requests, I wanted privacy, I needed to change rooms for my wedding night ;), I had my stylist come as well as my photographer and all staff remained discrete and professional. The rooms were amazing! Super friendly staff! I can't wait to return!

Though I wasn't able to stay very long, just being inside the Delafield Hotel is very welcoming. Has a wonderful smell and has such an amazing staff. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

This was an Amazing 2 day getaway for my husband and I. We got the classic suite and it was perfect. Relaxing and luxurious, especially for the price. The staff was attentive and friendly and the quaint downtown area actually had quite a bit to offer. Can t wait to return!

We got married here 2 years ago and come have dinner on our anniversary every year. It's a fun tradition! This year was post renovation and there are aspects that I miss about the old Delafield Hotel and Andrew's, but I have to say the new look is very exciting and swanky.

Used to recommend this place to all out of town guests. No more. They stuck a giant political sign at their driveway. Doesnt matter who it's for, this is supposed to be a relaxing place to stay but when that's the first thing you see? Yup..... why business owners EVER do this I have no idea.

Someone paid for the honeymoon suite for our honeymoon. The room was huge and amazing but the air conditioner made a squeaking sound throughout the night. Had a great Jacuzzi tub and an amazing shower. The staff was nice but we had to wait almost 20 minutes for someone to come to the front desk when we were checking out. They were nice about it and apologized though. Overall great experience

We came for the Harley 110th and chose The Delafield Hotel for a change. We stayed at some other big name Milwaukee hotels for the 100th and 105th celebration. The Delafield was superior by far. Bike wash station, underground parking, really friendly and knowledgeable staff, great room, I mean GREAT ROOMS. Huge suites with giant spa bathrooms. My wife was in heaven so I couldn't have been more pleased. The hotel was located next to the interstate so getting around when we needed to move was really helpful, great back roads too. The restaurant was great and the bar was very comfortable when we got back from Milwaukee. Thanks to everyone for a great Labor Day Weekend. Room Tip: We were given a tour of all the suites and they are all amazing. Stay Here!

Amazing hotel with great rooms, recently remodeled as well. The restaurant there is AMAZING some of the best food I have ever had. My wife and I stay here every once in awhile just because we love their rooms and restaurant so much. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality hotel in the Delafield area.

Stayed here for the second time for our wedding anniversary. The rooms are beautiful and relaxing. When I booked the room, I specifically checked their COVID-19 protocols to make sure I was comfortable staying here. It said they were using enhanced cleaning protocols (not true unless you are only staying for one night, I guess) and requiring masks in public areas (not true, other than a sign in the lobby.) Complaint 1: On day one, we left the room at 11 am. I called the front desk and said we would be out of the room for a few hours, could housekeeping please come while we were gone? I was told they could. We returned to the room at 3 pm. Housekeeping had not been there. Called the front desk, asked if we left again, could housekeeping come by 4? Again I was told yes. when we returned at 4:25, the room had still not been cleaned. Asked to speak to a manager, was told there was not one on site. Explained my complaint to the desk staff, who said the housekeeping staff was very busy and they can't guarantee when they will come. Yet check in is at 3 pm, so all newly-occupied rooms should be clean by then, right? Isn't the housekeeping service part of the room rate? Also, if they can't guarantee a timeframe for housekeeping if you are an overnight guest, shouldn't that be communicated so we can plan accordingly? Complaint 2: There were multiple wedding parties at the hotel during our stay. Almost no one was wearing a mask in the lobby. I asked the front desk to confirm if masks were required in common areas? She said yes, but they can't enforce it. I told her I understand they can't force people to do it, but they could at least ASK people to put them on. Her response was, "that's not our job." I said it's not my job either, and I specifically chose this hotel based on the health protocols it said you were enforcing. At this point I was ready to leave and asked for my second night to be comped. I was told again by the very rude desk staff that they aren't allowed to comp anything but we could call the manager on Monday. To the manager: I will most definitely be calling you on Monday for a partial refund. To the owner: please don't advertise things that you aren't going to enforce or provide. We won't be returning, which is a shame because our first stay here was lovely.
