They have everything here that you would want to purchase. So much better than the Maasai Market in downtown Arusha. No negotiating except in one area for art. A huge collection of hand crafted wood, low end jewelry, and very nice jewelry. Very good prices on tanzanite. Very helpful staff. A nice looking cafe, but I didn't eat there so can't comment on that.

I have been several times the products they sell are ok quality but it has unreliable hours. many times some of the shops are closed. When the main shop has closed early while we were shopping.

Of everything that we encountered in Tanzania from Crocodiles eating Wildebeest to a Lioness calling for her friends after dusk this short stop was something I wish I had more time to experience.

I will go back here.

On our way in from Kilimanjaro International Airport our amazing guide suggested we take a quick 30 minute break and check out this amazing gallery. I am so glad he did. This was 30 minutes of my life I will never forget.

The quality of art found in this, the largest art gallery on the continent, is worth your time no matter how short your vacation. I highly recommend it. Unfortunately, since we had just arrived in country we didn t know what we wanted.

This is the best art you will see in Tanzania. From $1 trinkets to $5,000 masterpieces. I even saw a number of very beautiful bronze pieces (I don t know if they were cold cast but I doubt it.) I really wish I had more time here. I could easily spend four hours wandering through the amazing art displayed on multiple floors.

Go here!!

Beautiful place. I wish I had timed it better to explore inside the main building more. Gorgeous artwork and carvings. Sized from nick nacks to larger than life sized! The thing I didn't like was that none of the items were priced so the staff had to go find out what the price was. I asked the price of a large wooden bust and he returned with a quote of $2000 USD then he immediately went back to wherever he got the price and returned with "but I can give it to you on discount for $1150" . Why start so high to begin with?? And I didn't like having to ask the price of every single item.

Beautiful building, art, and tanzanite stones and jewelry. I'm not an expert so you can decide but, I believe the quality was better and the prices better than other places I looked. Zara and Saifudin were delightful, knowledgeable and went the extra distance to accommodate us.

Great stop if you are visiting Arusha. The main building that is the art gallery is spectacular and has some phenomenal art & artists represented. The touristy part has a wide array of tourist goods that you can find around but they have items allow in the one spot. They have more artisanal tourist pieces outside of the main shopping building in the centre closer to the car entrance.

Bargaining is a must.

Lunch is tasty and reasonable.

Bathrooms are clean.

As often a mix between authenticity and doggie trade. But very beautiful works whose originals of copies made in Roc must be detected. The imposing building and original architecture containing a permanent exhibition is absolutely to be seen. Closes at 5 p.m. Very beautiful sculptures and paintings not given in price. And a DHL agent on site! Quality food a little more expensive than local restaurants. You can pay by credit card: 5% surcharge.

A place to see Tanzanian and African cultures and paintings. There is no admission fee, so if you come to Arusha, it is worth visiting. Since the souvenir shop is for foreigners, it is more expensive than the price in Tanzania.
