Our first room had a joint on the floor so they upgraded us. The second room was a little better but when we left to go to our event and then returned someone had came into our room and used the bathroom and left poop in the toilet. When we called the front desk they said they would check the door to see who has been in the room. And of course no one.But he asked us are we sure we had not been back in during the day and also asked if we wanted security to be by our room. Why would you say those things if nothing was on the scan of the room. I do not recommend this hotel.

My boyfriend and I stayed here when we were staying in Atlanta for a concert. As far a presentation, the hotel looked nice and the staff was pretty nice. When we first got there, there was a system outage so they told us to hang out until it came back up but never informed us after we waited for 20 minutes (the system was up well before that). They also didn t have a room available for us even though we reserved it over a month ago, so we had to get a different one. So we finally get up to the room and try to open the door to the balcony, which apparently none of them open, but there was a HUGE draft coming inside from the 30 degree weather. We finally got a new room and went to enjoy our night. Then the next morning, we were woken up my the cleaning crew an hour before check out, so we told them to leave and come back. About 45 minutes later, the fire alarm starts going off throughout the whole hotel, the staff said they were just testing them, but someone definitely pulled it and they couldn t get it to turn off. After we finally checked out and got out of that place, I looked at my credit card to see that they had charged me an additional $155 and $190 charge. Parking was $40 and there was a $75 deposit, so there is no reason that I should have an extra $350 charged to my card. Its been 2 days and I have been unable to get a solid answer from anyone at the hotel about issuing me a refund. We will not be staying here again.

The room I stayed in was okay it was not spectacular but it was comfortable. I was disappointed there were no chairs to sit in or a refrigerator in the room. Also there was no wall safe to keep my valuables. And the view was not so good at all.

The first room they gave us was not clean and had brown stuff on the bed. The hallways and rooms smelled really bad and someone next door had a domestic dispute. It was a nice location but I won t be staying again because they hotel is not very clean.

I attended a conference at this location which is located in Midtown Atlanta. I used Uber to travel to this this location so I can't speak of the parking facilities. The hotel is very very nice and the decor is very modern and well maintained. Plenty of ameeexist near and around this location. The meeting room facilities were excellent!

Never again! Very loud ! Seems like we don't have any windows . You hear everything on the street ! It's not just a road , it is 8 lines huge road with many crazy bakers driving back and forth all night. Can't sleep because of constant noise event we are at 15 floor . Today is the second night someone at the car is listening music very loud at 1 am! Hotel didn't help us , we had to call the police.
Recommendation for the hotel : CHANGE YOUR OLD WONDOWS!!! At least . It's unbearable to sleep .

Valet was chaos 5-6 guys working it , but have no clue what they re doing or being efficient A joke really when there charging $45 for valet $15 a day regular parking. And it s across the street you actually have to take an elevator and a bridge a across.Check in process could have went smoother . Our requested room was not granted booking though Expedia.our breakfast voucher were not given to us at the time of check in. I ve stayed in a lot of hotels In Atlanta and left unsatisfied I will not be rebooking

The staff seemed friendly but the hotel needs some attention. Had AC problems when we arrived. Had a problem getting room service (talk to house keeper, and front desk twice before it was done). The location was good and price was excellent.

Update: when we checked out the front desk manager (I assume) understood our concerns and compensated us by removing one night charge. I am increasing the rating. The hotel staff was the best part of the stay.

Ok. . .I can legit say there is no "southern hospitality" . . . At least not at this hotel!! Service in the restaurant was terrible and basically everyone at the conference has had the same experience. The front desk staff are a hot mess and have messed up charges in numerous rooms. The gal that delivered my room service last night just gave me a look the whole time and I said "thank you* she ignored me. I called the front desk for a razor and toothpaste (after I left a note on my bed in the morning asking house keeping for one and they left me another note telling me to dial "0" for one) the gal at the front desk tells me housekeeping will bring it up and hangs up on me. . .he brings it up. . .no smile. . . I say thank you and the response is "yep" I asked for a late check out and the front desk said " no problem" and hung up on me. . As I was saying "thank you". At least I had real southern fried chicken (not at the hotel) and got some pool time.
The restaurant manager called me yesterday to address the issues in the bar. They just made an announcement at our conference that all the hotel room issues should be getting handled. One gal I'm with they held almost $800 on her card when at the max it should have been $350. I was just given the managers card. I also let the folks putting on the conference. Just a mess!!!! I will never stay here again!!!

One of the best receptionists ever when I visited. Nice place but rooms near the hospital side will hear some sirens. I asked that great receptionist to out me on the other side but it's in the middle of the big city and you'll get big city noises.
Despite that I enjoyed my visit

Beautiful hotel with a great location to different venues. Staff was wonderful and helpful. Our room, while comfortable, could use a few touch-ups, particularly in the bathroom. The showerhead has clear signs of rust and the ceiling has signs of a water leak and perhaps some mold. Other than that, great experience.

We managed to get the microwave and fridge, which was great. However, the ac wasn't working that great. It was set to 60 degrees and never felt cooler than 70. Also, a vent or fan would have been good for the bathroom.

The first room they put us in had the smell of fresh marijuana.... The air conditioner wasn't working.... There were SEVERAL things wrong with the room. They moved us to a quieter, less smelly room. The air conditioning still wasn't up to par. We figured out why though. Whoever the Einstein was that placed the thermostats over the units needed to be in a different line of work. With the money this place charges for one night, there's no reason for it to be in such diminishing conditions or for the guests to have to deal with the riff raff...

Excellent and Spacious rooms. The hotel is so clean. They have a small kitchen in the room and they have provided basic utensils needed for cooking. This is very close to Bank of America Plaza. Marta station is also there near by. For affordable food there is a restaurant named Varsity near by. There is also a church just 5 minutes walk from Hotel. Publix supermarket is 12 minutes walk from this hotel.

They were able to accommodate my request to check in early, which I appreciated. Check in took longer than I expected. I don't know if the staff member was new, but in the time it took her to check me in, the other line checked one person in, helped another one and was about to check in a 3rd person. It was a longer process than necessary, plus no explanation for what took so long. The other person had to step away from her line to assist for a moment. Other than that, the hotel is fine.

I travel a lot. The only reason I stayed here was my wife had a meeting here. It was clean. I had a room on the upper floor(18th). The city noise was terrible with sirens & motor cycles all night. The location is not ideal but if you like to walk you can visit interesting things assuming you don't mind walking a mile or two. Good luck if you stay here. One more thing. For the price I paid per night, I could have stayed at a lot nicer place. People are nice.

Thank you to Ashlei, Nagey, James, and Patrick at Crowne Plaza. My Wife and I had our wedding here Jan 31st. The hotel unfortunately was still under construction, however these 4 really made sure that everything went as smoothly as they could have. Yes, there were multiple hiccups, but they tried their best, and the actual staff at Crowne Plaza are all warm, friendly, and inviting.

I was not impressed with this place. At. All.

I was not impressed with this place. At. All.
For the price I'm sure there are way nicer places to stay.
Even before our stay I was disappointed. I called to confirm our reservation and to see how much the incidental fee would be. I was transferred and put on hold SEVERAL times. It was like "oh, that's so and so's job, one second" and the second person would send me back to the first. At one point between all of the holding/transferring I was hung up on and had to call back just to do it all over again. Incredibly frustrating. (Incidental fee: $75 paying with card or $100 paying with cash. For the whole stay. Yes, this amount is a hold on your card, it's a normal thing hotels do and it takes about a week after checkout to be lifted.)
Parking was a freaking headache. We could not figure out where the self parking was. (Its BEHIND the hotel on the opposite side of the street if you need to know)
Once parked you just take the parking garages elevator to the hotel floor and take the over-the-road covered bridge thing to the hotel. The bridge area is not air conditioned which I found odd. It's really stuffy.
Once in the hotel it's really nice. You walk all the way through the hotel before you get to the service desk. Maybe we showed up on a bad day but it was a super long wait with ten people needing to be helped and only two people at the desk. (Each person was taking at least 10-15 minutes)

PROS: rooftop pool (it is really nice and peaceful. Not quite the rooftop I was thinking because it's on the 4th floor)
Large closet with plenty of hangers.
The bed is comfortable (a little firm for my taste)
The fitness center is wonderful, it even has a little balcony outside
The hotel was clean (I will get to the rooms in the con list)
Rooms are updated
Water pressure is really good

CONS: The rooms (I found chocolate (i hope) and bottle caps under our bed)
The furniture is scuffed up and seems a little dingy in general.
The shower head is really low
The balcony doesnt open so it's really stuffy unless you turn the AC down. The halls stay stuffy though.
The AC unit is old and out dated.
Noisy!!!
If you are a light sleeper, DO NOT STAY HERE. A hospital is right across the street so you hear sirens all night. Not to mention, people blare their music so loud (at all hours) that it shakes the windows. It sounds like people street racing nonstop. Just trust me, unless you are like my boyfriend, who could sleep through a tornado, you wont be getting any sleep here. The windows are like paper thin.

Overall, I wish I would have listened to some of the not so great reviews before booking. It was okay but I know for the price we would have been happier somewhere else. I will not reccomend this hotel.

The best hotel I ve ever been too, I loved that there was 15$ parking behind it which had a hallway connected leading to the lobby. The view was amazing and the room was even better. There was an ice machine right on my floor so I didn t walk far after a late night.

comfy headquarters and decent distance from most things! reasonably priced....
only reason i deducted a star is cause they have balconies but you don't have access to them...which i think is kind of stupid....
i mean i get that there's a liability but either bar then up and allow people access or knock them down...gorgeous view...too bad it was limited...the higher you go i'm sure the worse it gets.

If you don't need to stay more than one night then this is the place for you. The rooms are decent and the staff is regular with their pleasentries. However, if more than one night is the plan, well then find some where else to stay. The rooms have no safes, refrigerators, or bottom drawers access.

Not the greatest guest services and parking is extremely expensive ($33 per night). However, they earned more starts from me because they have a great gym with Precor Equipment, and the location is convenient. I ve attached 3 photos of the gym. There is a ramp in the gym that leads up to a balcony.

Staff are very courteous. Been here since Wednesday and leaving tomorrow. Would not recommend. Very old. Carpets are stained. No refrigerators unless requested and the one provided was small and inoperative. Balcony door leaked so carpet was soaked and starting to smell. Shower drains very slowly - ankle deep water. Iron was scorched and we had to request another. Having a Keurig in the room is excellent however we had to keep requesting (daily) coffee and cups since none were provided. The towed were not replaced daily even though used ones were placed on the floor. Towels smelled of chemicals. Finally there was no information in the room regarding any hotel amenities, namely, pool, exercise room, dry cleaning services, etc. tremendously dissatisfied and thus spent as little time as possible in the room.

Sooooo loud!!! We stayed on the 14th floor on the side of the building across from the varsity. Their was booming music from cars from 2 am to 4 am. I attempted to sleep with earplugs without success.

If you want to actually sleep, do not stay here!! If you have to stay here, make sure you are on the side of the building not next to the varsity.

The front desk admitted that this happens every weekend and there is nothing to be done.

This hotel would get a 4-5 star from me if not for the incredible amount of noise outside that made it impossible to sleep.

I stayed here for the bronner bros hair show and the room was terrible. There were dirty towels in the bathroom, the balcony door doesn't open so I can't even enjoy the view like I would want. You have to pay $11 a day to rent a microwave, its .75 to make a call on the phone. The halls smelled terrible. The food is crazy expensive. One of the elevators button didn't work for the 21st floor. So I was stuck on the 20th floor for about 10 minutes. Also, its $15 PER day to park your car.

My husband and I frequent Crowne Plaza s across th...

My husband and I frequent Crowne Plaza s across the nation. We recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza in Time Square in NYC and it was fabulous. However, I have NOTHING good to say about this hotel. Their customer service is awful.
My husband and I booked this hotel LAST YEAR (Nov. 9th, 2018) since we were traveling out of state for a concert. Well.. we receive a phone call last week (March 21, 2019) 4 months after we booked our hotel room, saying the hotel was overbooked and they could not honor our reservation. Now, me being understanding, I realize that hotels can book due to major events but, that does not excuse a hotel calling 4 MONTHS after a person books a room to tell them A WEEK before they are visiting that they cannot honor our stay. Their solution was to move us to the Crowne Plaza at the Atlanta airport for free. I told Kayton, the night time manager, that I was unhappy with the move considering we book Crowne Plaza midtown due to its close location to the Mercedes-Benz stadium. I was not happy with the idea of driving 12 miles in Atlanta during a major event when I booked a hotel that was in walking distance to the particular event.
Kayton basically told me there was nothing he could do. I asked to speak with someone else considering he was not a happy person to talk to. He then said I could only speak to him... because that s this hotels answer to a customers dissatisfaction.
When I asked Kayton why it took the hotel 4 months to inform us they were overbooked, he could not give me an answer. He proceded to tell me they were overbooked due to a glitch in their system. Yet, the hotel left a message on my phone saying they were overbooked due to Expedia s error. Kayton continued to dance around an explanation for the hotels faulty booking system and tell me i could accept the reservation for their other hotel or be out of luck looking for another hotel room (considering every hotel was book due to a MAJOR concert). Long story short, the hotel overbooked themselves and honored the reservations of people who paid insanely high prices since they booked late and pushed out the people who booked far in advance.
Safe to say we will not be staying at another Crowne Plaza ever again.. the way they handled this situation was unprofessional and rude. They failed to take accountability for their own mistake.
DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SLEEPING ON THE STREETS.

We had reserved a rooms weeks in advance only to find out when we got to the hotel at 4pm that there were no rooms currently available and we would have to wait. The staff was incredibly rude and even tho we tried to be flexible and told them we would take any available room (instead of the one we requested with a king bed) they still were rude and non accommodating. The female staff member ignored us and just had side conversations with her coworkers and no effort was made to remedy the situation at all. After waiting over 30 minutes we finally got a room but when we opened the door the smell of strong cleaning chemicals immediately greeted us. The room also had no refrigerator, no microwave, and the balcony door was bolted shut so we couldn't air the room out. Also the door to the room had to be basically slammed shut otherwise it would catch and appear to be closed but in reality it was open. When we came back to the room around 1130pm the smell of the harsh chemicals was still there and even tho we were on the 19th floor we could hear everything going on outside and it kept us up way later than we wanted to be. Overall a very unpleasant experience and would not recommend.

The room was not clean. I brought my own medical wipes thankfully so I was able to disinfect the high touch surfaces but it was clear it wasn't wiped down thoroughly. You'd think during COVID-19 that would be highest priority. There were droplets on the floor in the bathroom, a half used roll of toilet paper left in the holder, and mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. General dirt on the carpet in the main room. Horrible homeless problem, was accosted by at least 10 homeless people, directly outside of the hotel on hotel property while the security guard was chatting up the front desk agent. We also filed a report with the hotel concerning the homeless problem because it did make us very uncomfortable and there was absolutely no follow up. Further, the main reason we booked with this hotel was the rooftop pool and we were informed at check in it was closed due to COVID-19. While that is understandable, they should have it advertised on the website that amenities offered are unavailable. We would've just stayed elsewhere closer to true Midtown had we known that.

If I could give this hotel less than a star I would. I m not sure if I just have the noisiest room available or what, but this hotel is worse than staying on the first floor in NYC(I m on the 14th floor). Sirens every hour, honking, engine revving. I have never in my life felt more compelled to have to leave a review to warn people. You will get no sleep here. And what do we need hotels for? SLEEPING!!!! I m so disappointed having spent good money to stay here and dealing with now 4 sleepless nights.
