This place is huge. Rare to find such large drink spot, especially wine bar. You wouldn't know it from the outside because it's just in a strip of other restaurants and below Equinox. You have to walk downstairs and it's pretty bougie once you're inside.

A very lively fun place. Across from the Staple Center, this area has a Number Of great restaurants, mostly high end and a little pricy but good. There is also bowling and the Grammy museum in this area.

Was not that impressed with this facility. The parking is a mess. I would have loved to use Valet if I could have found it after driving around the block twice. The entrance to the parking garage as you enter was incorrectly marked with arrows pointing multiple directions staff thought it appropriate to be on their phones instead of directing traffic to correct gates.

HUGE concert hall! We saw Earth, Wind and Fire there. (One of my favorite groups). They had the whole house rocking and dancing to their music!! I remember they said to drink green tea , that it keeps you youthful. It DOES!Check it out!

We stayed at LA LIVE for a few days in December. On the last day, we had left the hotel for sightseeing, next morning when getting ready to check out, we noticed one of the suitcases was missing along with our I PAD, expensive pair of sunglasses, a clutch, shoes and few different pieces of cloths. All added up to almost 5,000. We immediately reported to the front desk, had security come up and make reports. An employee at the front desk, i am not sure if it was the manager, immediately asked why we did not keep our belonging in the safe box in the room, which made me feel like it was my fault we had somebody break into the room and steal our belongings. They never followed up with us on any updates, i had to call and be transferred to five different people before somebody could give me a decent answer. They have no cameras in the hallways. I am not sure why we pay such high rates for no security. At the end they put the blame on us for not locking the door when we had left that morning. They did not even conduct proper investigation, all they did is check the door logs and they came up with the fact that the door was not locked and that's were their investigation ended. BE CAREFUL WHEN STAYING AT THAT HOTEL. IF I WERE YOU, I WOULD NOT EVEN STAY THERE,UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR BELONGINGS STOLEN AND NOBODY PUTTING ANY EFFORT INTO TRYING TO FIND OUT WHO ON THEIR PROPERTY STEALS THEIR GUESTS BELONGINGS. Staff does not care. The owner needs to put some cameras in the hallways, this is supposed to be a 5 star hotel, and the service and safety equals to a 2 star MOTEL. If i could give them a quarter of a star for trying to pretend like they care i would.

Restaurants, movie theater, clubs, ice skating in the winter, staples center and the convention center - there a lot to here at LA live. The restaurants here are good and the are a lot of restaurants near by that are really good also. So check out all of your options if your cooking here to eat. If you going to a game at staples, toy definitely want to get here early to park and get something to eat before the game.

Fantastic Place for entertainment. If you want to go to the cinemas, a concert or a good restaurant, this hotel got everything. But if you are used to 24/7 maintenance, you will be disappointed. They start to close about 23.

Being an Angelino, I would imagine that makes me a little too biased to give a proper review of LA Live. However, I will. As Randy Newman once said, I love LA. LA Live is overpriced, and trendy and it times crowded wind teams are playing at Staples Center. But I'd rather be there than Times Square. You cannot possibly Miss the statues of Bob Miller and chick Hearn in front of Staples Center. There are others some of you may have heard of like Oscar De La Hoya, Shaquille O'Neal, Wayne Gretzky, Luc robitaille and more. Do yourself a favor and don't forget the artwork that is the King's timeline. If you're of a mind to, go inside see a game. In the entertainment Arena there's nothing quite like Staples Center. Unless of course you're forced to see the Clippers.

downtown LA is always great. The $5 meal menus were not a good value. They were more like samples and appetizers. Other than that the entertainment was great. It's always nice being by the Staple Center.

It may be overpriced, and they may charge you for extras ($14 a day for Internet?!) but you will forgive them if you, like us, have a corner room on the 26th floor with an incredible view and an unbelievably comfortable bed. We were tempted to never leave the room. This felt luxurious and relaxing, and after the Waterfront Hotel (see previous review) in Oakland, we needed it.
