Super touristy and its basically a huge food court now. Nice to hang that area on a nice day but there are way better places to spend your time in Boston.

Not the best place if you don t like crowds...also no place to sit. I prefer a calmer dining experience.. also very expensive to walk around and look for a place to sit. I recommend for visitors to Boston, just to walk through and then find a nice place to go sit down and have them bring the food to you
Nice lighting, Food and Market . Evening is bright and colorful.
Liked the vibe and options. Chowda and lobster roll options galore!
This was my first visit there my son and daughter-in-law took me I found it to be extremely fun and enjoying they have all types of food deserts we had tried some lobster rolls or which were delicious we had a few of their pastries again was really excellent and just being there in that atmosphere was like feeling like a kid again I highly recommend giving it a try
Excellent place to hangout with friends and family.
Tons of great food and drinks. Cool to start here if you haven't been to Boston before.
Fun time, lots of things to do, shopping, eating and street performers
Awesome place to visit live music lots of restaurants
This place is one of the main tourist attractions of Boston. There is a food court and the usual stores. Still, it is an attractive place and worth a visit.
Faneuil Hall Marketplace is something you can't miss while in Boston. It has a wide range of all sorts of food too cater for everyone. Also a variety of stores selling a range of sovereigns and street performers which are very entertaining. Also you can't miss the Faneuil Hall's free presentation run by the National parks. It was so interesting to hear and learn about Boston and Pivotal past it played in United States of America.
It had a little bit of everything, food-wise. If you're hungry, you will be able to find something that will appeal to you.
This place is always a lot of fun but it seems to get more crowded each time I go. It just makes it tough to stroll along and enjoy ally the sights and smells.
Had a great day with the shopping and entertainment .
It's a place full of history and I think it's a must to visit if you come to Boston.
It's what I considered a tourist trap. Surely, there are a lot of different type of foods here and street performers, which makes the place very lively. But I feel that everything here attaches "BOSTON" to it's name, which isn't quite true. The food isn't bad, it just has this made for tourist sign on it.
Great spot to visit and see some history with lots of stores to shop and eat walking distance to the subway and aquarium and other sites
Very interesting market in Boston, with many different food options.
THE place to shop stuff around and have some great meals at the marketplace which is buzzing with eateries.
Interesting environment. I like the open air feeling of it, but a lot of the food is made for the masses.
Love it. Great and interesting things to buy and food to eat.
Faneuil hall is a historic landmark you have to see if your in Boston, bars, restaurants, and shops for all ages, go during the day with the kids and at night for they adults this is a great place for they holidays and all years round. Don't forget your camera your gonna want pictures.
This place has been discovered...! Much much too crowded to enjoy yourself. I don't know how so many people can be packed into one place and still move. Ordering your food, and then trying to "get" it is tough, but the worse part is trying to find a spot to EAT your food. You'll either have to stand up to eat, or hover over a table like a vulture waiting for someone to get up so that you can swoop in to grab their spot before someone does the same.
If it's this crowded it must be awesome, right? I suppose it must have been at one point or it wouldn 't be so famous. Yes, the clam chowder bowl I got was very very good. My son got a lobster roll which made him happy. So, the meals you buy are delicious and quite expensive. Do it once, but that's enough for me. I later discovered many nice, sane, places to eat and relax while visiting Boston just a block or two away.
I suggest that if you're visiting - go by Faneuil hall for the historic aspect. Even get something to eat. But be ready for the crowd. Jump in and enjoy. I'm glad I experienced it. But, it's not something I need to do again and again.
Went to Best of Boston at the Market; they have great selection of sweatshirts.
Crowded with tourists, everything is extra expensive for that reason, but the food is all very good.
Great atmosphere. A must stop on a visit to Boston.
Great place to hang out and check out all of the options there. I would not go during peak hours. However, great for quick breakfast
Loved it... Great shopping and cool food options. Check it out
I love going from vendor to vendor. Lots to see and rest. Surrounded by great history
Great place, beautiful old building and great little shops
Nice place to get subpar Chinese food and be really uncomfortably hot
Super cool touristy spot, lots of food options inside the building, tourirtsy gifts outside. Get yourself a bread bowl of chowda you wont regret it, give yourself maybe an hour or so to eat and walk around a bit
Love this place even as a local. Great place to have multiple options for food for lunch.
Filled with tourist shops, busy. Far better places to eat and shop in Boston
Great place to spend time. Please do note that the Chinese takeout doesn't accept Amex
This is a fun, quirky, lovely place in Boston. Lobster rolls are a must!
Great place for lunch any cravings can be satisfied here.
Lots of chocolates and candy. Currently Under renovation
I love going here when I go to Boston. There's lots of food options & great hospitality. Every vendor greets their customers with a smile.
Extremely crowded, tough to move around and under renovations
Sweet spot to spend some great time. Lots of shoping and eating joints.
Love the variety of foods. And the prices aren't bad at all.
Tremendous tourist trap area, lots of overpriced souvenirs, building itself beautiful and historic. Worth seeing with a guide.
Always great time. Great food lots of choices. Best place for cookies is the chip yard.
One of the must see tourist attractions in Boston lots of food choices in the food court and you can sit at a replica Cheers bar there. plenty of shopping, its one of the starting point to start with when your on Vacation here in Boston. if your looking for Something to remind you of your trip this is the spot to pick it up. One thing that's a must try is the Boston Chip year for Chocolate chip cookies there. That is my hidden gem for going there.
Pretty run down and a lot of sketchy shops. Everything is premade and looks like it's been sitting for hours
Awesome place to hangout and go through history of boston and relishing food. Just love this place
Great place to get food, especially lobster roll and clam chowder!
We were there during Harborfest. We loved watching the Army band play our front. Ground floor is the marketplace where you can get some cool souvenirs. Upstairs is where the meeting hall is. It was so amazing to see where the first thoughts of revolution took place!!
Stop here whenever in area for lunch, want 2 try other places around Boston but we always end up here
A good place for shopping and eating a variety of foods.
Historic Boston at it's best. Located in Boston Harbor near the Aquarium and Columbus Park. Three large buildings with a variety of food, merchandise and clothing stores. The original Faneuil building is located directly behind, where you can visit and see how history was formed. Public transportation is nearby, but Boston is set up so you can mostly walk to where you need to get. Plenty of Uber available also.
Wandered through here to get to the hard rock cafe. Adding to the pin collection. A large variety of stores and restaurants.
To the tourists:
If you're out here, you need to be here.
To the locals:
Where you at? You should be here :)
Such and awesome place.
So many good food options, and positive energy.
Not much available seating, but if you wait long enough, you can wrestle an old lady and there grandson for a table.
Great times.
Winter time is fun here. However, watch for pick pockets wannabes
Always nice to be here, yummy selection of different foods, not necessarely cheap, but hey, it's the heart of Boston.
Regular interesting events, therefore often worth the visit
Great restaurants and bars in the area. Also, Samuel Adams statue and opening soon... tap room!
A very good place to go shopping, I had lunch at the Quincy market and enjoyed a lot, there are lots of souvenirs to buy specially if you're a tourist. It's easy to get there by the blue line and is close to other hotspots on the city.
Spent a whole day here. Lots of shopping, food and artists. Great fun!
Loved the ecosystem around here. Good place to hang around as you explore Boston. Has many options for vegetarians too.
Great touristy place to visit. It's fun to walk around and see what everyone is selling. I don't really recommend eating here, however. Walk five minutes to the North end and get something to eat at an Italian restaurant and stop by Maria's Pastry.
Always enjoyable to visit. Bustling with people and energy, there always seems to be something new to discover.
Alot of different sections on food in here from pizza to sushi to ice cream. My fav is the mac and cheese shop
Food was excellent, our waitress was a friendly Irish young lady...Nicole. would highly recommend it.
Greek history ,great views, Grate for bar crawling and shopping
Lots of food choices. Great lunch spot for someone visiting Boston
A must see quick stop in boston, every different type of food
This is a tourist trap, but the food is top notch. Worth going to if you have the time.
Great place for some local shopping. Also a bit of a tourist trap.
There were mice all over the wall, garbage cans, and around our feet! I am having trauma n trouble sleeping as I keep picturing those horrible images! Second floor seating area, don't go there! Do I have a legal case for ptsd?
