Great if you want to hang out, meet new people, and shop.
Great if you want to hang out, meet new people, and shop.
A happening marketplace. The food in the hall is all quite reasonable priced and tasty. Some nice shops nearby too including Sephora, Uniqlo and Clarks. Nice place to hang out with friends.
Great variety of things to do and beautiful location
Like an outdoor mall with a huge food court. Always had a couple street performers. Convenient location on the Freedom Trail and near the old state house T station.
Historical market that has fast become a major tourist trap. Old market old worth a look for history bufs though it's been taken over by kitchy tourist souvenir shops. Central hall is full of shopping mall foodcourt style fast food places. Around the edges of the hall are various restaurants of generally middling quality and high prices. If you want a place to get all sorts of Boston gifts and souvenirs, this is a good place, however skip eating here and try some of the other great restaurants within walking distance.
Great food- High prices though. Extreme high prices at the parking garage next door.
I ve been going there for over 40 years. Iused to go clubbing there
Practically a staple of Boston by now. Dozens and dozens of choices in terms of food and they all offer something different to try out. There's little souvenir stands as well and there's often live performances. You have to stop by here if you're ever in Boston, it really is a great stop to make. It is a bit pricey just because of the city, so be prepared for that.
Found some cute atores... people are friendly would like to go back in the summer time.
When in Boston this is a MUST go to stop. They have everything here from entertainment to novelty shops and of course restaurants galore!
There hasn't been a time when I've been here when there wasn't some kind of free street entertainment that was age appropriate and packed with a TON of energy. Live this place and you will too. Oh...its one of the most historical places you can visit in the U.S. BONUS!
If you are in Boston and you haven't been to this place . You definitely missed something great . It's diverce food and nice shopping mall.
A mix of easily accessible flavors from all types of cuisine, with a special emphasis on traditional New England fare. (Chowders, Mac n Cheese, seafood). You will likely have to eat while standing though, as space is limited!
Faneuil Hall is a charming place with a good variety shops and places to eat. It has changed for the better I think.
Lots of food choices. And street performers usually entertaining crowds. Fun filled day.
Great tourist destination. Very walkable, great food
Great place with amazing things to see and especially eat!
love the restaurants and all the people. Nice place to spend a night out.
Very vibrant place. Mixed crowd, enjoying with togetherness
Delicious food, as always! Wish they would expand their seating areas though...
Always a treat!
Good food and a fun atmosphere
Certainly one of the most desired places to visit in Boston. Great food options and plenty of shopping right in one place.
The history here is as interesting as today's shops and entertainers - always worth a walk through. Black Dog clothing is a must-shop!
Always fun to stroll through, especially during the summertime. A solid mix of decent stores and little touristy shops with Boston gear and and souvenirs. One of my favorite features is that many of the restaurants and bars have outdoor seating. People watching is highly entertaining and you can see street performers and break dancers on a daily basis.
Fun to wander around, shop, eat. Close to aquarium. Lots of available parking nearby.
Very fun place to visit. Lots of good food. Try the Indian food. The Vindaloo will set your hair on fire.
Who doesnt love Fan Hall? It is a must for any visitor or localite for sure! Don't miss it around Christmas, beautiful lights, fun food and shopping.
Make sure you visit the historical 2nd floor of the building! Beautiful and important meeting room!
So much fun and great to visit. Has a lot of everything
Always a new dish each time I go. Great compilation of all ethnic foods!
Excellent place for eating small plates and have a good time..
I would avoid this spot for food and shopping as it is a tourist trap. That said, there are almost nightly acts and street artists that work the area that make it interesting.
I came with my family in early spring this year. It is certainly a happening place. Loads of restaurants, stores, and tons of people. Fun atmosphere. The only problem is the bathroom situation. Expect long wait times especially for women. It is not great for people with young children.
There's great variety in food and prices. Highly recommend trying the food in Wagamama, as well as their blended juices. If your looking for touristy gifts and clothing, Faneuil Hall is the best place to look. Theres plenty of staple shops including a Newberry Comics store and Sephora. The clothes stores range from Abercrombie, Victorias Secret, Loft and Urvan Outfitters. If you need comfortable shoes, then you can always stop by Clark's. If you are looking to buy fresh ingredients to take home, Quincy Market is only a 5 minute walk from Faneuil Hall. I recommend going during weekdays and in the morning if you don't like walking through crowds of people.
A great place to do a little gift or souvenir shopping in Boston
I enjoyed browsing the shops. There were musicians and a magician performing. Nice afternoon spent there.
This location and surrounding area is where you can get a great Boston feel. Lots of amazing food, street performers, and people. Whatever you are looking for this is the place to find it. Conveniently located to transit and various parking options. Must stop.
Over priced tourist food. The vendors pay exorbitant rent so don't expect the freshest food or the highest quality, but the variety is good and you should be able to find whatever suits your fancy
All the food places are amazing. Good place to go for dates, with family or with friends
Really cool vibe. Albeit priced for tourists. Locals will go elsewhere.
We were disappointed to find out that Faneuil was closed for restoration. Area around it is fun though. Maybe next time we come to Boston (our kids live here) the restoration will be complete.
Always a new experience. Great food of all ethnicities and deserts. Great public shows and even movies on Friday nights.
Boston staple. Cool to check out at least once. Salty Dog is here
Lots of gluten free options and shopping/entertainment.
So there are actually several historic buildings in this plaza. Faneuil Hall is the signature one, but the Quincy building is much larger and has 2 floors of shops and restaurants. Mostly tourist stuff or bakeries, ice cream or candy store. stores, but still fun to walk around. Keep in mind these buildings are historic which is just a nice way of saying they're old. So they may be covered by scaffolding (Faneuil Hall was in October 2019). They need more work than Joan Rivers did. Of course they're in better shape than she is now.
Can't miss stop when in Boston. Lots of great shops and the food court is the biggest I have ever been to. Great variety of top notch street performers. One of the best places to visit in Boston. Ample walking and places to sit and enjoy the day.
Always very, very busy but fun place to shop and grab a bite to eat.
Good history experience! Great shopping, lots of restaurants, outside seating for views of the market place. This right in the middle of town.
Espectacular place for an evening walk and great amusement around every where. Food was a blast also. Quite full at the time of the visit but we had an excelent time there. Must return for some more fun!
We got there as we were doing the freedom trail and we loved it. It was packed of people but we still loved it.
A lot of eating options - be prepared to pay the price aka $10 frozen yogourt..
Lots of stores, a nice Bostonian experience.
Fun vibe with a lot of neat foods and shops. Free samples too. Live music outside.
Tons of places to eat and shop. Real Boston landmark, which is near city hall and downtown Boston
This is a must-see when visiting Boston. There are a lot of shops and restaurants- you can find practically anything!
A birthplace of our nation. Seeds of Liberty sown here. Good street performers outside.
Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market...A must place to visit when in Boston. Especially if you're a foodie!! Great history!
Great place to hang out. All types of cuisine is available.
Also called the Quincy Market. Lots of great food and souvenir shops.
Amazing selection of food and items. This is a must visit for anyone visiting Boston. Food from all over the world can be found here. Enjoy your food or just relax in their food court type atmosphere upstairs and on the floor level. There are bathrooms also. This is a bit tricky for those in wheelchairs because it is very crowded and brick sidewalks. Outside you can usually find incredibly talented folks of all types performing for tips.
Really fun and sunny. Dress accordingly. Awesome history.
Hearth of Boston with a lot of food shops. According to locals, however, there are better options in less touristic places. We had a lobster rolls that were good.
Nice marketplace. A lot of different foods to offer
It's a shopping area and tourist trap. Not bad as far as those go
Amazing place, highly recommend hot butter lobster rolls!
It is so good it has everything to it's also mostly indoors and a great day to spend a great live entertainment
Love the versatile food options all at one place. Pricey
