Not such a big fan. There isn't much here that you can't get elsewhere. It's a little shopping mall and food court, plus some real sit down, waiter service restaurants. It attracts loads of "lost" tourists and their screaming kids.

A must destination for any Boston visitor. Take a walk up and down the marketplace aisle before making your food choice, as there is a wide range of options. If you are looking for souvenirs, the stalls lining the outer corridors are some of the best options for t-shirts, hats and Boston area paraphernalia.
Boston Pewter Company- local, out of circulation & unusual collectable items. New England products by small companies. Not your average shop!! Gotta go here!!
Love this place! There are street performers around the hall which is a bonus! There are seats for dining in both ground and second floor. Sometimes, it could get crowdy but still worth visiting.
Very cute area with many places to eat and shop at! There's something for everyone. Also they have a community piano and there'll be someone playing as you eat.
Love Faneuil Hall. Tons of food choices, always good street performers. Mexican place I got food from was not good but lots of other choices. A must see if you are in Boston and have never been there.
Great market with lot of options to eat and to drink coffee. During lunch it gets really crowded and it is hard to find a place to sit but that is the only bad aspect.
Bustling and fascinating! Our tot was overwhelmed, but we had a great time showing her all the things Faneuil Hall has to offer! Can't wait to go back!!
Well run tourist destination. You can find local flavor if you look hard.
This pedestrian mall is one of Boston's top tourist attractions, but it can be tough to find actual local Boston flavor. There are some good restaurants and many national chains. With the completion of the Big Dig it's now an easy and pleasant walk to The North End (Boston's Little Italy), the Boston Aquarium, and the Rose Kennedy Greenway. One of the highlights of Faneuil hall are the many street performers busking. There are musicians, magicians, living statues, and other artists performing. There's also a BosTix booth to get discounted tickets to local Boston theatrical performances.
Parking is very very difficult. You should bike, walk, or take the T.
Super crowded on Saturday late afternoon. Could not find a map of what they have to offer. A lot of name brand specialty stores like Crocks, etc. Too crowded to enjoy. Lots of good eats from New England, especially seafood.
To see a historical building reduced to nothing more than an elaborate food court filled with tourists there to eat instead of learning history was very sad. The history that is left is very cool and worth fighting the crowds to see.
A great place to grab a bite to eat at any of the large variety of places that offer great quality food. There is usually a performance of some kind going on just outside the hall, making for an enjoyable outside meal. Enjoy!
Come check out the local vendors. Stroll through Quincy Market to have your pick of any genre of food for lunch or dinner. The summer could use more spaces to sit for eating, but there are other places to go and eat the food after purchasing from one of the 40 or so vendors.
Last stop on the Freedom Trail! Found ourselves walking through the Marketplace on a few occasional towards little Italy in the North End. There's so much wonder to marvel and appreciate here. Scroll through and look for Josh Abrams detailed depiction of Faneuil Hall - great review.
So many food choices. Good luck finding a place to sit. This is essentially a mall food court on steroids or for those who can't decide what they want to eat. Wish I had been more hungry so I could tried a few more food places in here.
Historic building in Downtown Boston filled with classic Boston eatery stalls and a few stores to shop at.
Expect lunch and dinner crowds to be very thick.
Public restrooms are available below street level and are accessible by walking outside the main building to the side and then to the middle. Just follow the line of people also walking in that direction.
This is definitely a tourist attraction and a money pit. Please if it's your first time visiting do not buy alot of stuff. Avoid spending there. I promise you there is other places in the area much more worth visiting. Mom and pop shops have better food and prices. All the merchandise can be bought online or surrounding cities cheaper. It's very nice to see and take pictures (especially Christmas time) but not worth the money. Take time to research the area before wasting money.
Tons of history and lots to check out, both inside the hall and in the surrounding area. Very eclectic mix of foods. Had my favorite chowder and Boston cream pie here. I always go back for those two things. Only downside is it s always crowded and lines can get long.
