Something for EVERYONE. In response to "Siren" it IS a modern food court, but it is not overpriced for the area. The selection is just so broad and food is so good, it makes me want to come here to eat every time I am in the city. I always seem to float towards the Boston Chowda Co. and the dessert stand right across the way. Only complaint is on busy days, there is not enough seating/standing room to eat. Definitely check this place out but make sure to walk all the way through before making your decision.

Fanuel Hall Marketplace and Quincy Market have always been a hub of activities. Great food, eclectic shops, interesting street performances are all benchmarks of this place. Boston wouldn't be Boston without it.

It's good for tourism. The shops are very expensive, but the food is good and the vendors are fun. You can always catch a good horse-drawn carriage ride or catch a great street performance.

Pro-tip : The walk ways are brick and very uneven. Wear sensible shoes.

Love it there, I don't go for the shopping, so I can't comment on that, but the food is why we go through. Quincy market, the center building is where the smorgasbord of the city is, so many different kinds of delicious food in one location is a great way to go. We'll walk through once to see what we want, then walk back through and get it.

I know many reviewers said this is a tourist trap, but so is times square. but that's the point - a place you have to see when visiting a new city. I am from south of boston, but I always visit faneuil hall/quincy marketplace when in town. It is the heart of the city - perfect for people watching and grabbing a bite. You can get all sorts of food (pizza, ice cream, nicer sit-down outside)... and then you can roam through the various stores. At night, the lights are pretty. From here, you can either wak east towards the north end and aquarium, northwest toward the old church and boston common. It is what it is - a tourist stop!

Check out all this food.

Historical and souvenir shopping could get pricey.

Nice place to walk around on the weekend. There are at least a few outdoor performances during the weekend. Buy some hot dog or visit quincy market for foodcourt. Multiple restaurants and bars for night life.

It's like a giant food court without enough indoor seating for a cold day. Not the best Boston experience mostly mediocre fast food. However, there are plenty of entertaining street artists nearby.

Go there, this should be on the bucket list. I mean one of the top 10things you do in life right before breathing. The place has so many shops and eateries there so it's very hard to decide on where to go when there. Don't be surprised that parking is going to be expensive, It's Boston, everything is expensive there even Sam Adams beer and it's right down the road.

Great historic/cultural place to visit when you come to Boston. Some of the shops are very tourist-focused, so the prices can be higher than elsewhere, but there are good quality shops too. In the summer it can be fun to come by just to watch the street performers on the square, and there's a big Christmas display in December as well.

We love the atmosphere and all the street performance artists. The shops and restaurants are crowded but not beyond what would be expected at a tourist stop on a Saturday. Ice Cream at Ghirardelli is a must.

What an amazing place Faneuil Hall is! The choice of food is incredible, has something for everybody there! The piano in the hall which is available for anyone to play is a nice touch, saw so many talented people on it in the few times I was there! Cannot wait to go back there! Highly recommend anyone visiting Boston to go there!

Big variety of goods, some reasonably priced, some not so much. You just have to keep looking to find the former, and not give in to the latter. We saw a number of refrigerator magnets, for instance, for $8 and $9, but ended up buying a very nice one for about $3. The "Cheers" replica bar / restaurant was quite nice, and not TOO too expensive.
