I love taking my family here!!! We have seen so many amazing plays here!!!

We took our children to see Pinocchio. It is not possible for me to say enough good things and give enough compliments about this play.

WOW. Thank you for that experience.

We saw, most recently, the production A Year With Frog and Toad, and it was fantastic! Honestly, I've never been a huge fan of the books, and I was not sure how they were going to pull that together into a full length production, but it blew my mind. They seem to always have a veteran staff and I know from previous productions I've seen that they always seem to do quality work. What a great asset to our community and state. Well done!

We've been many plays at Children's Theater fire years. Always a great time. If your child takes classes at the theater tickets are discounted, too.

I've been seeing shows here since I was a kid, and now I take my daughter.

This place is amazing. Yes, it's geared for kids, but the whole family will enjoy it! Every show I've been to has been a memory maker. A gem of the Twin Cities performing arts community.

Snow White was great! Took two 8 year olds and a 6 year old. They loved it!

Pinocchio was awesome! I took 3 crabby tweens & they laughed throughout the entire play!!

Saw "How the Grinch Stole Christmas", excellent! Actors were great, props and set was amazing. Wonderful experience. Thank you for the donations given so that that people such as my family and I could see this play with discounted tickets otherwise we would've never went!

They put on good interactive shows for the children's. It was nice watching them bring the kids into it and hold their interest, but still giving them room to go back and forth between themselves in front and their family/friends in back to take care of themselves without them or the parents being shamed for being an interruption etc. And they have little ways to play/engage in the waiting area too plus the fun socks you get to borrow. Really friendly and helpful staff. Will go again ;)

Just saw "How the Grinch stole Christmas", it was great, my kids has a great time!

Never disappoints. Our kids are 3 and 5 and love it every time!

A lot more enjoyable than I thought it would have been! We saw Mr Poppers Penguins. I did not know the whole story but it was fun. The production was amazing, seating was good, and there was plenty of staff to help us figure out where we were going. Kids enjoyed it but I was more impressed with how much I did. Very high level of production/professionalism for a play aimed at kids while still making it enjoyable for everyone. Good theater, stage and they also had snacks available as well! Right next to the Minnesota institute of Art as well, so perfect for day/half day trip for everyone!

Quality programing and engaging to parents and kids!

We saw The Wiz this evening. Our granddaughters (7 & 4-1/2) loved it, and so did my husband and I. Wonderful singers and dancers (as usual), creative staging. It's always worth the trip, and this was really special.

We went to a preschool performance and it was perfectly planned to accommodate toddlers and their grownups. What a lovely time!

Great set up for a family with children any age, even infants. Very interactive shows, great for noisy kids, also keep runtime at a reasonable rate with an intermission. Each side of the theater has a quite room to take infants it toddlers who need a break that is glassed off with sound piped in. As a bonus, it's attached to the art museum, so you can make it a full day of entertainment.

The production was great. The staff were running around in a complete cluster but once we were seated, it was a great time.

Outstanding! There performance and professionalism is out of this world. The lorax is a must see for all!

Always a good production and the magic of theater!!

We love the children's theatre. We did a subscription a couple years ago and went to three shows. My son was 2.5 years old at the time and we were worried he wouldn't make it through a whole show but they all held his attention so well. He loved it! It's hasn't been in our budget to do the subscription again and we have instead been going to a more inexpensive theatre with children's shows, but there is a definite difference in quality and production value. If we get to a place of having more expendable income this will definitely be on our list of things to do.

What a great experience! Very well maintained. Clean. The performance of Mr Poppers Penguins was outstanding, especially for kids. Very interactive. The actors were fantastic. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

We love this theater! Cinderella was amazing. Great venue for all ages. The young and the young at heart. We are from Indiana and come once a year when our son stage manages a show. One of our favorite theaters in the city.

Wonderful performance "I come from arizona" my daughter's 13 and 10 enjoyed it so much. A delightful experience!!. Not too long or short. Just wish the ending had a concrete ending. Cast was amazing.

Each show I've been to here has been of Broadway quality. Highly recommended and make sure to bring the kiddos they won't be disappointed. Tip order your intermission drinks and snacks before the show to avoid the long lines during intermission.

Children's Theatre is a great place for kids of all ages. They have multiple performance spaces, including the main stage, and always put together a stellar cast. If you have little ones that can't necessarily sit for an entire show, there is a quiet room in the back where you can watch the show. Does you child have sensitive ears? No problem! There are child headphones available for free to protect their ears during shows with special effects. Just turn them back in at the end of the show. Parking is either free on the street or you can pay for the ramp immediately across from the stage door. Everyone should go to the Children's Theatre at least one time!

Saw a play that only had two actors playing fourteen characters and it felt like a great thing to see

Modern Cinerella best show seen inva long time. Very relevant and engaging for evryone!

Cute, fun theater for young children. Went with my daughters preschool for a field trip to see corduroy and was so well done and kept the kids entertained, as well as the adults!

Saw the performance of How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Loved it, the set was great and the acting was fabulous. Seating was also great, I don't think there was a bad seat in the house. Will definitely patron this theatre again!

Loved this place! Until recently I had never been! The theater was a nice small size where even the balcony seats were great! The acting was amazing!! I definitely recommend this theater to family and anyone who enjoys theater!

Saw the Grinch who stole Christmas with my daughter's second grade class - the play was fantastic!

We saw the Hobbit and it was a wonderful production. The stage was set up well, and the set was really neat. The actors did a crazy good job going at such a fast pace. Definitely recommend this show to anyone.

We went as a family to see "A year with frog and toad". We all enjoyed it and my son "4" still talks about it 2 weeks later. Note that the concessions are kinda weak and I would advise you to have your own snack for intermission. You are not allowed to eat in the theater.

I am disappointed that while our area is currently in a Winter Storm Advisory -- all local schools have been cancelled - the show is still on. I do not feel safe driving.

Great experience every time. I am very grateful for this theater. Really not a bad seat in the house, but upper main floor towards the middle is pretty good, also front row is very fun for the kids. My daughter will be starting classes here soon as well. Great theater.

Actually at the Minneapolis Institute of Art, next to the theatre, which we love. Always fun to observe the happy kids going into and coming out of the theatre.

The children's theatre is never a disappointment, the show's are great!
