Loved the play! Hated your horrible parking ramp! There has to be a better way to get people into the parking levels.

The Lorax was wonderful but the sound was way too loud.
Saw the Cinderella show and had a blast. Good sound and every seat has a decent view of the stage.
Fantastic shows and a great history. The Sneetches was fantastic, great for kids and parents. Looking forward to future productions!
Had such good time! Cinderella actresses and actors you did an outstanding performance
Such a great acting troop. Saw The Hobbit, and it was a blast! My 6yr old absolutely loved it.
Great show with very intertaining lighting and scenery. The staff is super nice and the theater is connected to an art museum.
Awesome place to be! When theres events here they all are super impressive!
Utterly wonderful. Great staff, plenty of acting opportunities for young cast, and a hardworking crew that makes the more marvelous, technical and complex productions!
This place is amazing. Every show I have been to is awesome.
Very family friendly place, easy parking, welcoming staff, great performance of the actors.
Wonderful family spot. 4 and 5 year old, as well as everyone else, always have a great time!
We have been here many times and it is always wonderful. Not a bad seat in the house either.
Great place to develop kids theatre skills and to visit as a family entertainment
Just watched Snow White with a cast of 2! They did an absolutely amazing job. The energy was great.
Never a bad show. I've always been impressed with what they can do.
They do an awesome job portraying the story they are telling. Their props are awesome!
We had so much fun watching the Grinch at the Children's theatre. Every show, year after year, they continue to impress. I grew up coming here and now get to bring my kids. So happy to have this opportunity. Thank you!!
Always well done. A great asset to the Twin Cities.
Never had a bad experience. Cinderella was amazing
I've never had a bad experience at CTC. My son loves it, every time.
Saw WIZ last night, AWESOME performances from entire cast, will attend again!!
We love attending the Children's Theater, they have such a wonderful variety of productions, ticket prices are very reasonable, and they offer a variety of classes as well. Highly recommend especially if you have young kids.
Great entertainment at a reasonable price. We have been season ticket holders for many years.
Fantastic theater! Fun for all ages!! Talented artist's and entertainers.
For the first one that I could get to know if I have to get it.
We've seen many performances here over the years. Always entertaining. The Q and A after the matinee performances are a favorite for my kids who enjoy the behind the scenes look. I enjoy how they bring literary classics to life. Performances on the main stage can be too long for small children. If your kids can't sit through a feature length movie, I'd wait a bit longer. An average kindergartener should be able to enjoy the entire show.
We seen Cinderella on a school field trip very nice
$200 for a really small final showing, more of a daycare for a week with themed crafts...
The kids loving going to the theater. The plays are always well performed.
Lorax was great! Seats are not much elevated, so for smaller kids I suggest getting seats closer to the stage, or maybe balcony.
A great show today, perhaps best for adults & older children
We were in the audience for the final "preview" performance of Alice in Wonderland on May 2, 2013--and what an show it was! Our two children, ages 4 and 2, were utterly captivated (as were mom and dad!) by the staging, acting and music. The show was a delight, Alice was perfectly cast, and the ensemble was magnificent.
What's more, our experience at the Children's Theatre Company (our first; we hail from North Dakota) was a true delight. From cast members mingling with the audience before the show began (our son especially loved high-fiving and dancing with the Mad Hatter) to the interactive elements in the show (our daughter squealed with delight when bubbles began falling from the ceiling), to the warm, inviting, kid-friendly atmosphere where children are made to feel welcome and important, CTC is doing everything right when it comes to giving a child an accessible experience with the arts. Our two-year-old summed it up just after the curtain fell and the applause ended, exclaiming "Let's do that again!"
Indeed, we will make a point of it to "do that again" many times in the years to come!
I found out they have a quiet room for restless kids. It was great for my 15 mo old, my husband and 4 yr old could stay in the theater and we watched from the back room!
Easy to find children theater and the place is totally awesome
Three actirs moved, and one also voiced, The Lorax puppet. Amazing stagecraft!
I've been so impressed with the plays I have seen here. I've taken my kids with me each time but come away thinking I would go back with or without them. The CTC has very talented actors and we always look forward to a night out at the theater.
It's grossly overpriced. Show was fine and actors did well but overall the organization is a little bourgeois in my opinion. I would say look at your local theaters or school plays if you want to have your children exposed to the arts. Kind of has an elitist feel. Considering the cost of the tickets I would expect that the carpeted walls in the theater would not be falling apart This does not seem to be a place that the local community is a part of.
Love love love. Get season tickets every year and have never been let down. Excellent customer service at the box office as well.
Great food at a great price.! You won't be disappointed...
Went to see the Grinch the play was amazing a must-see
Wonderful shows. Wonderful staff. Wonderful classes.
While each play may vary in my enjoyment of the material, I have never had a bad play here (and we have had season tickets for years). Think your kids won't be able to sit through a performance? That's what I thought until I took them, and they sat there in rapt attention. We have seen Cinderella, Wizard of Oz, Little House in the Big Woods, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Babe, and many others. The actors are great, production values too, and friendly staff. The adjacent Minneapolis Institute of the Arts is chock full of great stuff too.
Love to take my 5 year old grandson to see a Children's Theater play!
I went to the Children's Theatre Company for the first time last night to see the presentation of The Grinch. I was very impressed with the facility in general, but in particular, the quality of the show. The actors and the sets were excellent. It was a first class performance. I will definitely return for another show in the near future.
*Updated review* CTC: You've Done It Again! Matilda was MIND BLOWING!!! My family and I are raving about the fantastic production and the cast who were all FLAWLESS and SUPERB! It may very well be our favorite play to date! Matilda is a MUST SEE!
TOP-NOTCH Theatre for everyone to enjoy! My family are probably on our 30th play to date... We love the quality of the productions... From the sets, to the uber talented actors (young and old), to the choreography and costumes! Just fantastic! Sometimes we see the same play more than once because the CTC is just that good!! The last play we saw was "Last Stop on Market Street" and let me tell you- it's going to be hard to beat that production and its cast! But I'm sure the CTC will do its best! :-)
Not a bad seat in the house. We went to see Cinderella and the production was top notch. Very funny for adults and children alike. You need to go here!
Always a great time. Accessible. Shows are fun, bright, and alive! They always impress me with their storytelling and creativity!
My daughter just started Acting 1 here. Very friendly staff. Fun atmosphere.
Field trip with 170 4th graders. All were mesmerised and engaged. Fantastic actors and action. Incredible voices that the sogs bring tears and awe!
One of b the best places in the Twin Cities to bring your kids.
I watched Cinderella. Highly recommend it. I really enjoyed it. Finding a free parking spot was tough.
Cinderella is my favorite! Every time is different!
Amazingly talented people and a lot of fun for the whole family.
The children's theater was modern, beautiful, and clean. The show's players were excellent actors, and even interacted with the audience. The story came alive for viewers young and old. Their adaptation of "The Hobbit" left us in awe. And the attached institute of art is the best art museum I've ever been in. Hope to return!
We saw The Lorax today. It was well done, but we booed when President Trump was characterized as unfriendly to trees. We didn't come to hear theatre politics. Perhaps they could have compared killing trees to aborting babies, too. ALSO, be careful when buying gift 4-pack tickets. I bought 20 tickets for the family's 2017 Christmas gift. The sales person said they were good for the year, but neglected to say their year was over at the last show of The Lorax. So I had to make a large donation turning back the tickets) to the theater to "save" money, and half my family didn't get to use their tickets.
Fun outing for the whole family. Every seat is a good seat.
Engaging, funny, age-friendly, and modern ties on a classic tale. Kids and adults had a great time. Hardest part was leaving, because the kids didn't want it to end!
I was the chauffeur but grandchildren all gave it 2 thumbs up.
I went to see Cinderella. It was masterfully performed and brought into a modern light. Cinderella wasnt a damsel that needed her man she was strong and in some ways saved her man and made him better. This is such a wonderful theater.
If you're not close second enough for the actors to sit on you you are too far back
