Love going to MIA. One hint is to pre-order your snacks for intermission. This is so much better than trying to stand in line for food and then also get in the bathroom break. This time we saw the Hobbit and again we were not disappointed.

Such an entertaining place. Children are allowed to express themselves and it's just a happyb place. The show I saw was incredible. People from another country were climbing the pole juggling, tightrope walking, acrobatics and humor. It was a fun night at a magical place

Truly a great place. Plays are always fun and imaginative the staff are always very friendly.
Starting to notice some seats with large dirt spots on the fabric, this last play I literally did not want to sit on the chair because of the spot. Yuck. VIP section, right in the middle.
What they do is fantastic for the community and I've been taking the kiddos and niece and nephews for 20 years, would highly recommend.

Went to see Cinderella and was blown away by the performance! Beautiful facility but the quality of the actors was beyond what we could have expected. Loved it! Witty, entertaining and my kids (4&5) we engaged start to finished!

They did an amazing production (as always) of the grinch! So fun! The characters did an amazing job individually, all of them. The costumes were fun and fantastic. The set was amazing and the music was perfect. Only downfall was sitting the whole show smelling a mother s wine. Not appropriate to have alcohol in a children s show setting. Pretty sad a parent can t go out to a play with the child without having a drink. It stunk and was distracting from the show. Disappointed in the theater for allowing this now.

Can't wait to see the show, which based on the reviews I am sure will be amazing! But I was fairly disappointed that I had to buy an extra seat in addition to what I needed so that there would not be a single seat left available in the row. It's expensive enough without wasting money on a seat that you won't be able to use.

My wife and I had seen The Grinch (and Peter Pan) ...

My wife and I had seen The Grinch (and Peter Pan) a few years ago with our now 11 year old daughter. This year, my 70 year old parents bought us all tickets for Christmas (11 year old couldn t attend). They had never attended a CTC show and neither had my 2 and 5 year olds. So, it was intended to be a very special experience for all! My wife and I were excited to see how the young kids enjoyed the play, since all of our kids were finally at an age that we would consider visiting the theater more often. Well....after this experience, we may just have to visit alternative venues. We attended the third to the last show of The Grinch. When we entered the theater, we were told that CTC was going green (aka: cheap) and had no more programs available. This made our party pretty upset, especially since it was our little kids first CTC play and my mothers good friends granddaughter was in the play (one of the main reasons they bought tickets to this particular play). To make matters worse, on the way out, the usher was collecting programs to reuse for future performances and was incredibly rude about giving my mother and my wife each a programs (two programs out of the the 5 tickets that were purchased), even after she knew how desperate we were for a copy of the program from the start. I myself have been to a fair amount of plays and really see the value in attending the theater and have never experienced anything like this before. It was like...Thanks for buying your tickets (at full price), don t let the door hit you on the way out. Ironic that we were there to see The Grinch... I am all for reusing, etc., but a place like CTC should be more invested in their visitors full experience. We shouldn t be penalized for attending one of the final shows. If my mom didn t have someone in the play that she was specifically there to see and/or if it wasn t my kids first CTC play, it wouldn t have been as big like of a deal. But for Tom and the ushers to act like this was no big deal (not doing anything to find a solution) and for the female usher to respond in such a put out way at the end of the performance too, is pretty poor and inexcusable to say the least. My parents were outraged and my wife was pretty rude back to the young lady. I can t believe she didn t get it . I hope the CTC figures there stuff out before they ruin anyone else s experience. There just has to be a better way to handle something as simple as play programs at a theater. I am sure the money saved by this type of approach is far less than the amount lost by people never attending a CTC again in the future. I contacted CTC (filled out survey) and after a week, no response. Classy.

Fell in love with this company when seeing their adaptation of Cinderella. Been season ticket holders ever since. Great for every age (Srsly, my son has been a fan since 2yo). The acting is absolutely amazing. The programming is diverse: plenty of humor, but also challenging social topics.

Always a wonderful time! I will never forget how much I loved the magic of this place when I was a kid and my Grammy would take my sisters and me! Now that my nieces are getting older I will have the chance to take them and I know they will love it too!

I grow up attending shows and am not so happy to bring to my kids there to see shows as well! It was magical when I was younger and now I can appreciate the acting, the sets, the interaction with the audience and the overall experience of incredible Children's Theatre. Highly Recommended!

Children's Theatre Company is absolutely amazing. Their plays always blow me away with the set design, the costumes and the acting. The children's classes are also completely worth it. They are a little on the expensive side, but the education is great and my kids always love them. Also, whenever I've had to call the theatre for something, everyone is always so nice over the phone.

Great performances by the CTC staff over the years. Gerald Drake, Dean Holt, Reed Sigmund and Autumn Ness have all been around for many years and are fun to come back and see over and over again in new roles in new performances. The CTC puts on an amazing job with the set, and the actors and actresses are always great. It's a great environment for small children (obviously) and is a very family friendly environment. Highly recommended.

School performance through the Bridges program. Super job by the staff. The kids, all had fun during the year and excited to be on stage for the first time. Nice introduction with this program to introduce a child to the theater besides sitting in the audience.

If you want your child to grow up progressively br...

If you want your child to grow up progressively brainwashed, severely damaged and diminish their chance to succeed in life, then this is the show for you. How nice to use bi-partisan tax dollars to indoctrinate our children into thinking they are evil for being successful or simply happy or being born a certain color - in this case the smug liberal little secret is that you are white and successful and therefore evil.

You are doing something wrong and evil - your whiteness is harming society...yes that's the adaptation they spoke about wink wink. We took our children and left. I then proceeded to explain the message they were trying to deliver - that the color of your skin or income makes you evil in the upside-down world of liberalism. Here's how I did it. I showed them a picture of a court session in progress. The judge was black. The lawyers were black. The two armed policemen were black. The court reporter was black. And the accused was black. Lesson in the REAL world? Life outcome is a result of choice - not the color or your skin or economical upbringing. Geez this play is pathetic. How about my example - is that going to be the basis of their next play? No that would teach a real lesson and remove the dysfunctional, depressed liberals basis for life and ability to divide our country.

Went to see Cinderella with my kiddos over the weekend, the girls had a great time! Have to pay for a lap pass for any kiddo under 3 I think, Not that it breaks the bank but it's kinda silly. The building was great, seats comfy, I'm sure there's not a bad seat there.

Love it! Enjoyable for both kids and adults. Watched "Cinderella" and they had lots of kid appropriate pop culture jokes. Hilarious! I'm really amazed at the amount of energy they can keep up with for 2 hours!

Always a great place to see excellent shows. The productions are top notch and can be enjoyed by all age groups. We go to a few shows a year and always come away in wonder at how wonderful the plays are. Worth every penny.

Very high quality performances aimed towards younger children, but all theatre enthusiasts with find something to enjoy. How the Grinch Stole Christmas and The Jungle Book are my favorites from the past, but they re always opening new and diverse shows. Great representation.

For students interested in acting, they have FANTASTIC musical theatre classes based on experience and grade. They also offer summer camps. The teachers bring the same energy from the stage performances to the classrooms, which are located right beneath the theaters. I believe they now offer audition workshops regularly, too, if you would like to be a part of a show.

The Children s Theatre is a fun opportunity for families, and you can always check out the museum while you re there. Good location: it s near many good restaurants and a park.
