Good environment but the management should look forward to keep the bathrooms clean

Previously it was good but now it went down. No maintenance. Wash rooms are in hygienic. Restaurant lost its quality

Its old hotel, but decoration & rooms of this hotel is good. And also meals is very delicious.
Only problem is its bathrooms where showers is not working properly in many rooms. And also tea/coffee makers will be available after request.

Hotel is not at all maintained and is stinking. Had to check out in a day against my three days plan. Rooms are completely worned out and are in pathetic condition. It would be a nightmare to stay there. But the staff members are cooperative and helpful.

Worst place I had ever seen as an accomodation... too stinky and dirty bathroom was horrible. I didn't stay ...N only looking photographs can be dangerous ..I learned

Poorly maintained hotel with only amenity working is lift

Outer area and lobby is beautiful.. but rooms are old shabby and ill maintained.. bathtub cannot be used because none of have clogging cork.. water problem is there.. no footmats slippers or shower curtains were there..mosquitoes are major concern and corridors smell of cigarrette... buffet was for more expensive and food was not worth it... during my stay I preffered to eat outside as that option was much economical.. so overall I was disappointed with the experience.

I was here for an event that was held in the basement. There were quite a lot of mosquitoes. The food was okay.

Never stay here. Sleeping on footpath is much better then staying here.

Expected much better from the hotel. Restrooms near banquet halls were bad.

It's good experience except dumping smell was very strong. It's not good for allergic patients.

Here I don t know about the hotel but it s very worst bar. There is no variety, it s like a normal government bar. This review is came out after experienced 10 + times.

Very untidy and dirty hotel.rooms are smelling, not clean properly. Bed and bedsheets, towels all dirty. Toilet is horrible. No proper lighting in the room and toilet. Very unhygienic. Dull atmosphere. Food is also not good. There are much much better hotels for the same price and location. Will never ever stay here.

The Checkers Hotel is one of the worst experience. stinking Blankets, broken interiors and worst Water quality. Hotel staff (front desk) are rude and least service minded. Please look at the pictures of muddy water & unwashed blankets. It was nightmare to stay for one night. despite complaining, staffs were least bothered accommodate in better room. Never Ever stay in such hotels, waste of Money

It's such a lovely place. We had a great time in the meeting hall. The cuisine served at the banquet was great!

Its an Okay kind of hotel. Rooms are not very great.. food quality is good. Staff is nice and well behaved..

Good service.. Hotel with rooms and bar.. Party Hall and etc.. Car parking available..

Biggest disadvantage is its obscure location and the access to their banquet hall gives the experience of watching g a thriller

A value for money stay at Chennai with excellent breakfast..
