Every Friday & Saturday night the place is pack to the point of no return. When you place a crowd of total strangers in a tight compact space filled with great music, a variety of drinks and very static atmosphere. What more could you want.

Very nice bar on a quiet street in SOMA. Excellent craft cocktails, vintage leather couches, old timey decor throughout, and black and white films projected onto the exposed brick wall. Yeah, it's that kind of place, one that fits in with the continually gentrifying and richifying San Francisco nightlife scene, but it's pretty cool, large, and the cocktails were awesome. I went during happy hour, before dinner, so it wasn't crowded yet... but it seems like the type of place that can get packed on Friday and Saturday night.

It's an insta-cool top floor lounge with an outdoor patio, and it's decorated kind of like an actual apartment. There's a fake shower, a couch, and other cool wall art for all your snaps and IG photos. Hip-hop and R&B vibes and interesting drinks complete the space. Drinks are about $12+.

Happy to see a new bar open up in my neighborhood. The Alchemist reminds me of Local Edition - both place an emphasis on high-end drinks and the decor is a throwback to earlier times. Came here last Saturday around 1am (ok, technically early Sun morning) and it wasn't packed but had a decent crowd of people. I don't remember the name of my drink but it had St. Germain in it and was pretty tasty. Will definitely be back for happy hour since I work down the street.

Hot. The hottest bar I've ever been to in my life. Literally when there are too many people it's unbearable in the summer. Strange vibe and the crowd is unfriendly. As a resident of the neighborhood this crowd is disrespectful to the nearby houses.

I just went to this lounge this past Tuesday for their new $3 burger night! WOW! I had the bacon blue cheeseburger and it was amazing!!!! it's only $3 and it comes with fries. Apparently they are going to have 3 new burgers every week....plus it's happy hour till 9pm...hello $5 martinis!! I know where I'm going after work every Tuesday!!! YUMMY!!!

Long standing Seattle bar that has rad staff, cheap drinks, and downstairs that is dimly lit and perfect for that tinder date who looks nothing like his picture. Sometimes they have djs, rock n roll music, and a really good photobooth. They have an outside smoking patio and the stoner nachos are pretty good. Sometimes they have shows so make sure to check those local bands out and tip the bartenders heavy.

I really like the vibe of the bar itself. The decor is cool, classy but not stuffy. There is weird shadow cartoon projection showing up on the wall behind one of the bars that I liked. The music sounds very 1920s and gives the place very speakeasy vibe.

I think this is still one of the most beautiful outdoor pool lounge in WeHo, it's at Mondrian hotel on Sunset. We just had dinner at Katana restaurant across the street, looking for a lounge nearby for convenient reason mostly. Didn't make a reservation cause we didn't plan to come here, but one of the gentlemen at the door let us in right away, it was very nice of him considering it was Labor Day weekend Saturday, a line was forming outside already.

At 1st it was fine but then my friend tried to get a drink and the bar tender told him that he was cut off because someone told the bar tender that I had gone to the bathroom and threw up. Which was a Complete Lie because I never even got up to use the bathroom.

Great place to have a drink and listen to music; however, please, for the love of God...Do...Not...Dance!!! It may start a movement. Literally, in another. The city prohibits dancing. So, if you feel the need to shake a leg, or even Cha Cha slide. Please, for the owner and managers sake, take it outside. Or atleast keep a minimum 10 yards from the nearest undulating being. ACS approved.

Super classic LA hideout tucked deep into Silver Lake. The dirty-word graffiti and punk rock posters of decades past are pretty much long gone but the old school punk rockers can still be found among the new too-cool-for-school hipsters. Photo booth and foosball table. Affordable drink prices and sexy people on too many party favors. Have fun!

Eh!

This place has a great ambiance with festive indoor and outdoor decor and a nice creative menu. It combines lots of different cultures with mostly Spanish-themed dishes, but also pasta and even some Jamaican style stuff. Soups, mole, seafood, meats, all of it! The food is pretty good, if a little pricey. Even the side of elote (grilled corn) is basically $4. There's no real salad options under $10, and nothing super substantial under $10, which is kind of annoying. Soups are all over $6...which I guess is average but if you're trying not to spend much money it'll be hard here, which was kind of surprising considering the area. Nonetheless, the food is tasty and while my reviews are generally geared toward poor people like myself, if you have the money you should certainly try it.

Their liquor license is wine and beer, but they make this wonderful agave wine which seemed to be stronger than normal stuff and was something I hadn't tried before in a mixed drink.

Came here for the Soulection Rooftop Party and had a blast - definitely the chill, laid back vibe that you would usually get in the OC with the views and trendiness of LA. POSSIBLY because many people were from the OC that attended the party.

Its Ok if you're just around the area. Ambience is more of a hipster vibe, crack heads hangout here I noticed. They have a DJ and a mini dance floor, no complains with the service, bartenders are pretty quick. Only thing that I dislike is the parking. Good luck if you come here late at night though, its a busy street with residencial and apartments.

Drinks are decently priced, not too expensive. DJs spin music there, it has a small dance area, and gets crowded quick. And, either right next to the lounge or down the street (you can see it from the door) is one of the best taco trucks in the area. Carne asada fries are bomb.

The ambiance here is fun. I was disappointed that the photo booth photobooth was out of service (I'm assuming since the enterance was blocked.) Also I tried leaving with a cup of water and the guy checking IDs pushed me all rough. He could have done it differently. I like Friday & Saturday nights here. Sundays are chill too.

First: not a bar person or a hipster.. that said I LOVED this place! Could not get over how great the ambiance is and how good the drinks are. Loved how it was decorated and theme so perfectly executed. I had the Monkey Glad & Somethin' with Vodka. They are both deliciously dangerous. Not from SF so there was some sticker shock with the price of the cocktails. We left at about midnight Saturday night and was really sanding room only.

Literally found this bar randomly, fun and nice bartenders, great prices (especially on taco Tuesday), excellent music, and ultimately good vibes!
Definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in having a good time!

OMG ! What can I say about the little easy that probably hasn't been said a thousand times already? I was looking up brunch places while my boyfriend and I looked around the last bookstore, and saw this place just happened to be right across the street. We popped our heads into a cozy bar setting with a total of two people and just a large bar bench to sit at. We thought it would be bigger, but we weren't going to complain since we were hungry.

Cheap Beers with good friends always makes this local dive a go to spot for Locals and tourists alike.

I've been coming here for years and its always a good time, regardless of the occasion. The beers here are always cheap and never stop flowing, which offsets how crowded the place can get on a weekend or a themed night. Be sure to secure a seat or a booth quickly!
