This company hired me on. I was working for about 6 weeks. In that time period everyone of my paychecks was shorted money each week. I finally got another paycheck that was shorted so I decided to go speak with the boss about the issue I was having. Before going to speak to the boss I had me supervisor tell me that I needed to make a decision on whether I wanted to work there and make that money or be treated unfairly. It wasn t hard to make a decision. I don t think any company has the rights to degrade and disrespect people. When I went in to speak with the boss he was very unprofessional and disrespectful to his office ladies. Yelling and blaming it all on them. He ended up firing me for bringing it up to him. He says it s because I left the job quote unauthorized after the supervisor was already aware of the situation. The guys was so upset he was shaking. I then called and spoke with his father another owner of the company and I knew where bob granade had recurved his unprofessional manners from. His dad acted like a child in the phone hollowing at me and I had to hang up on him. I ve been working for over 15 years now and I ve never once been fired or nobodies even thought of firing me. Especially when I did absolutely nothing wrong. I would show up a half hour early everyday do everything asked if me with no problems. It makes me so upset that company s can treat people like this. It needs to stop. The father Doug grande was going so far as to threaten me before I hung up the phone on him. I hope that nobody has to deal with the way this company is. I m sorry for the people that just take it from these people. Good luck and I hope they treat you better if you are still there.:(
This is a company that is tough but fair. Reading reviews like the ones above Are from a disgruntled employee and his girlfriend. What is not mentioned is that he left the job site In the middle of a critical day on a 15 mil. Project, with strict performance timelines. Instead of calling the office over a $40 discrepancy, he chose to drive over an hour in the middle of the day to talk to the payroll department.
Going back, this company is tough but fair. The employees are paid well but with that comes the expectation of performance and professionalism.
