The Centre Page (Pub) Review

The Centre Page is a decent modern pub within a short walk of St.Pauls Cathedral. They do Fish & Chips you can order to go, unusal I the City of London and is popular with tourists.

Nice pub but music way too loud. Asked them to turn it down but I think the bar staff must be deaf.

A great local pub with a decent restaurant and friendly staff, quite a maze of rooms and unusual activities,quite vibrant at the weekends.

St. Paul's Cathedral I was a good place to fill up my hunger. Fish and chips are big.

The lighting downstairs could be improved upon. Otherwise a good selection of beers and ciders and a great location

At 100 meters from St Paul's Cathedral we ate at 7:15 fish & chips and double bacon cheeseburgers, drank two beers (beers for all tastes) and got a bottle of sparkling water for a little girl. The staff was very kind, the maid of his initiative brought us an extra dish to share our food with the girl. Average food quality (impossible to expect quality of gourmet food in London pubs), very greasy fish (but it's normal). Background music commercial and fun. Total expenditure 36 pounds.

Recently went here with my colleagues for a work lunch and was really disappointed. Despite making a booking our table was not ready for us when we arrived, the food was average at most and a lot of menu items were not available. The wrong starters were brought out and the waiter serving us was abrupt and a bit grumpy. All in all, not a great experience and won't bother going back.

I was hungry so I ate fish and chips and can take out.
