Nice clean pub friendly staff, good location and selection of beers. Let down down massively by the fish and chips, all batter and very little fish, which was dry and chewy. The sign outside reads London's best fish and chips, this couldn't be further from the truth. Management should sample their signature dish from time to time, as I think they would be surprised how bad it is. I Would however recommend the pub If you're just stopping for a drink, the other food ordered was also fine.

I came to this pub after celebrating New Years with a friend of mine by Millenium Bridge. I was pleasantly surprised that the pub was a diamond in the rough, and that there was really no wait to order a drink at the bar. The owner was very nice and even bought us a round of drinks. Definitely a night I won't forget! I really enjoyed the hospitality of the workers!

One of the old pubs in London that you can get yourself the traditional British pub food such as bangers and mash or fish and chip. It s conveniently located in central London and within a walking distance to St. Paul Cathedral. I ve overheard from the table next to mine that it serves some good Prosecco.

One star for the food. Felt robbed to be honest. The burgers were made with beef that is probably cooked from frozen and completely overloaded with pepper. I expected a lot more.

There is a really buff barmaid though so... ain't all bad at least.

London Pride didn't taste nice, I had to mention this review to get them to offer something else, I chose a cider. The tuna nishwair was just average, no potato or salt fish.

I found it by chance and loved it. It was the best meal I had on the trip. I ordered the yorkshire pudding with sausages and it was wonderful. Here you order right at the counter, pay and the food they take at the table you are at. The lower lounge is less crowded and is more cute if you want to take pictures. To drink, mulled cider, which is hot cider.

We were here three years ago and loved the fish and chips and salt and pepper squid. We went back in May 2019 and were really disappointed in the fish. The squid was still quite good. The staff seemed to look at us as an inconvenience. They may have been more interested in the downstairs poker game. There were more people around that table than in the restaurant.

A treat, delicious fish and chips, excellent carbonara pasta, fresh London beers and a touch of bitterness that can be drunk with gluttony. See the cheaper take-out fish and chips served indoors. Otherwise very good, nice decor ...

The Centre Page is just what you need after an day in the capital, perusing attractions like Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe to name but two. Warm and inviting atmosphere for all concerned. Good food and good company and a unique atmosphere all of its' own.

Give a try!

This has the best Surf n Turf in London. The prawns are given the Kiev treatment with wonderful results.
The manager, Anita is wonderful. The music is pitched right for the area....a crowd pleasing radio station at the right volume. The place has history and this is what is needed this close to the splendorious St. Paul's. The Tate Modern and Bankside are just across the river. This is the place to come to for Fish & Chips...or a steak. Great value, ambience and service. Rare in tourist London.

Food would have been ok if not for the fact it was stone cold! Four different meals ordered and all of them cold. Was a shame as otherwise it would have been ok. At least it wasn't expensive.

average at best. took a large overseas student group there for a pre booked dinner. staff upstairs were very grumpy. Food was totally terrible, I dint expect much for a large group booked discounted meal but of the 15 restaurants I had visited with groups over the previous month, this was by far the worst. Staff downstairs were very bright, bubbly and hospitable. ive recommended to my company we never go there again.
