Absolutely fantastic and helpful! They are were able to diagnose the problem very quickly on a very busy day. The phone was not salvageable but they pointed that my IPhone 8 is supposed to be water resistant and take it up with Apple. Very pleasant and incredibly helpful. I highly recommend this place!

This was a terrible experience, I would never recommend buying a phone from these people, they don't stand behind their sales. Coming back in with a phone that stops working in under a week and they wont give a refund or do an exchange. The phone since then has continued to develop more problems. They may be fine at cellphone repair but I would never recommend that anyone purchase a phone from them, its a very unsatisfying experience and a huge waste of money.
I would like to thank the employees at The Cell Shop for the awesome service they provided when replacing the screen on my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge phone. My frustration was taken with patience and kindness when I chose to foot the 500 dollar bill to replace the screen on my 800 dollar phone. My mistake was purchasing a phone I couldn't afford and a case that didn't cover the lock screen button (which is where the phone hit when dropped onto the edge of my bowl of cereal). Unfortunately I rely on my phone for work and required an immediate fix. We discussed other various methods to deal with my problem before settling on the pricey repair. If it wasn't for the genuine conversations I had with the employees at the Cell Shop I wouldn't feel as satisfied with my repair as I do now.

Dropped my phone in water and then it stopped working. Great customer service oriented front of staff and the techs in the back know what they're doing, my iPhone X worked perfectly fine after they repaired it. Highly recommended!
My phone has been at this shop for about 6 weeks now. I have called on a close to weekly basis for updates and have been told it would be finished repairs on a certain 3 different times. Every time those days come and go, they never bothered to update me that the phone is in fact, not ready. At this point, I've given up. Terrible customer service.
Don't ever buy a phone from here. I was sold a phone that didn't work and I went to return it and they wouldn't take it back. It's a waste of your money!
They fixed my screen I dropped it once and it popped out. It shouldn't do that if u drop it
They demand your personal security pin before they will work or repair your phone. I just needed a cracked screen replaced and asked if they would replace screen and then we would check working when I picked up (without sharing pin)... They wanted security pin or no service! I found another shop which understands privacy... I can't recommend at all.
I brought my tablet here for repairs but they broke it more and charge me $20 and it wasn't fixed at all.

Went in a couple months back and bought an lg g4 from them after trading a phone in the battery doesn't hold a charge it sucks and I called to see if they would replace the battery they said no because it was out of the 15 day warranty period

Got my phone fixed just over a week ago. Screen is already popping out as if it wasn't clipped in properly in the first place. Good quality products but not so sure about the service. Sadly really disappointed and out $200 to have a more broken phone than what I took into them. Took it in under warranty; they replaced another screen and even the second one was not installed correctly. Sadly popping out again; clearly a horrible supplier (as they claim the first one was a defaulty screen, guess the 2nd was as well?) or poor workmanship. Either way, Dont reccomend taking your phone there unless you want to go back 5x.
What great service I received at The Cell Shop. I had my Nintendo Switch fixed there in less than a day. Tony had my contact in messenger and kept me in the know for what was wrong with it and how he fixed it. He also gave recommendations how to prevent it from breaking again. In the last two weeks I've spent close to $1000.00 here. Bought 2 phones and activated both. Than had to bring my phone in a few days later because I dropped it and broke the screen. They told me the repair would take 3 days, actually took 5. On the 4th day when I came in to pick up phone from being repaired, they said they were really busy and it might not be ready till tomorrow, yet when I walked into store all 3 employees were sitting at the front of the store around a laptop watching Dragonball Super (yeah obviously oh so busy right?).Then the charge cord to my phone literally came apart on me while unplugging phone from charger so I brought it in to be replaced. First they said it looked like the cord was ran over by a computer chair but, the cord is to short to reach from the outlet to where my computer chair is. Than they said it looked like the cord was intentionally cut to which I replied why would I cut the only cord to charge my phone with. Than they try to tell me that it wasn't the cord they gave me when I bought the phone which it most certainly was as I didn't have another phone prior to buying this one. I suggested that they gave me the wrong cord back from when I had it in for repairs but denied the possibility of that. So basically after insinuating I cut the only cord to charge my phone and basically calling me a liar to my face they tried to sell me a new cord... I walked out and got one at dollar store instead. So buyer beware when making purchases from this store. They're very unprofessional. If I could give half or no stars I would.
In regards to their response. Where did that cord come from then as I don't own another phone and the only phone I have is the one from you. Rude and intimating? If I became rude it is after your employees became rude.
Sorry being lied to and treated rudely is enough to make anyone become rude. I never said anything about leaving a bad review, and how was I intimating? Or is it simply because I'm a big guy with long hair and was being sterotyped as I never threatened anyone or anything just got frustrated I was being treated rudely and called a liar after spending so much money there and rightly so?

Yes I brought phone in for repairs I said that. I guess that excuses the fact you ethier gave me the wrong cord back or a faulty cord to begin with. It seems to be an ongoing trend based on the reviews that you sell faulty or damaged items and than claim you don't carry said items when called out on it.
I got that cord from you end of story. You can lie all you want to try and save face, doesn't change the fact. Judging people based on looks is generally frowned upon in today's society.
I had THE best experience EVER at any electronics store. They were upfront and honest right from the start and gave me all the pros and cons for all different solutions which really help me to make an informed decision! And THEN they did the impossible!! Disappointed. Called ahead to ask if they had something and went out of my way to describe what I was looking for, was told yes and given a price. Went there, not even in the same ballpark. Neither did they have what I very specifically described on the phone, but what they DID have that wasn't even close was double the price in person. Price didn't matter anyways, cuz they didn't have what I was looking for, and really didn't have a clue either.
I give a one now due to new owner rude to customers and unforgiving I have said sorry before with a issue with him anyhow no I dont recommend his business Id for now on deal with another shop down street from him . Called Next Leval Mobile there awesome;

The case I bought had an issue with the screen protector that damaged by screen. It was a fake Otter Box case. Went back a year later for a temporary case for my Pixel. They had none, didn't offer to order one and didn't refer me to another store. I'm not going to let this shop waste my money or time again.
Fantastic employees so friendly. I had unexpected bills and they said they would hold the phone untill my next pay. Only 3 days but still they are very understanding.

took my daughter in to talk to them about replacing a battery in her ipod. They checked the diagnostics and explained that it is in good order no replacement needed. they then showed her tricks to extend her battery life like turning off bluetooth when not needed and lowering the brightness. Thanks for the great service.

Made a deal to trade my phone for a newer one plus cash. Drove back home (40 mins drive each way) to pick up my phone and accessories, went back only to find out they backed out of the deal. They probably have good phones I'm not sure but their customer experience has been horrible for me. Please stick to your word!

Had issues with my iPhone not charging right, thought it was just the battery. The tech figured out it was a board issue and was able to repair it. Phone is now working good as new! They were patient in explaining it to me and put it in terms that were easy for me to understand.

Brought my teen son's iPhone in for possible repair - bent case, water inside, jammed power button. They spent lots of time looking it over, thinking it over, and in the end didn't recommend fixing due to a very large bill and the possibility that, in the end, there would still be problems. They didn't try to upsell me to one of their refurbished ones either. I trust their judgement and expertise.
Also, I can't reply directly to a previous reviewer named Untitled, Untitled who suggested that you can't expect much from Peterborough but I would suggest not taking anything he/she says seriously. This is a good business.

While the guys at the cell shop were fast. The screen they replaced on my G3 is a real piece of junk, the phone doesnt get nearly as bright, and there are light spots and dark spots all over the phone. Looking back with the price and everything I would have been better off buying a new phone online and saving the cracked one as a backup.

BEWARE, TIs company replaced the battery in my Apple iPhone 5, for over $50.00 and when I arrived home the phone did not turn on again, I work the same hours as the shop is open, so when I had a chance to go back in they said they did not have time that day on few occasions, THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THE SERVICES GIVEN, BE AWARE!

Fixed my smashed phone in 20m, they also have cheap cases and cords there. The reason I'm changing my review is because I felt slighted by them.
They recently sold me a flipphone that they did not tell me was used. When I got the phone it was quite smudged up, the battery was / is garbage and died very quickly, there were even left over text messages and photos on the phone!
I was disappointed because as I commented earlier they fixed my provided a good service in the past.
Was really disgruntled with the lack of transparency. I hope they decide to inform their customers in the future if something is used or not before selling it to them.

I dropped my iPhone yesterday and after inquiring at The Cell Shop I was told to bring it down and they'd be able to fix the screen for me. They were even able to hold the specific screen that I needed which was really appreciated! I went down to The Cell Shop this afternoon and my phone was fixed as I waited - less than 45 minutes! Great staff, great service, and my phone looks like new. Really impressed. Thank you The Cell Shop!

Great repair shop. I left the consumer electronics field. I now take all my gear to these guys. Fair prices, real craftsmanship and staff that know the product inside and out.
Bought 2 used Samsung Note 4 from these guys just before Christmas. One works very well. The other has issues, locking up, getting very hot, shutting down, rebooting, ect.... I went back 27 days after buying, and they said they would only give me $100 for it, even though I paid $350. I was willing to take $300, and trade towards another phone in their store, but they did not want my business........so never again will I shop there!!!
Went with an iphone 5 because the screen had come off the front. They were professional, helpful, and were able to fix the problem on the spot. Will return to them next time again for sure.
Bought a $400 Samsung Galaxy S4, treated it like I had other cheap $100 pay go phones I used in the past but the battery exploded on this one. Went in to get it in for a fix. Made sure they knew to email me (my phone was obviously in for repair). Never heard anything. In the meantime a friend gives me a phone to use wifi on so I buy a SIM card from them. Go back in, in person to see if phone is repaired after months of not hearing anything and an informed that it's scrap. Sales associate THEN tells me that I shouldn't have had it plugin for so long?! Maybe useful information for when I'm first buying the phone? Then I ask to buy a time card for the s card I bought for the loaner phone when sales associate THEN tells me it's "been sitting idle too long" and that I need to buy a new one?!!?! TERRIBLE customer service. Not everyone is a cell phone expert, that's why your there and I'm not just buying online. One star. Wish there was no stars.
I went in with a broken screen and came out with a new screen that looks amazing, everywhere else would have to order them in and said it would take a week, and thier prices were outrageous, these guys had the part the next day and did the swap in less then 3 hours and for a completely unbeatable price. I could not ask for a better group of guys to do the stellar work that they do and with such vigor, thanks guys 10/10 will recommend to anyone who asks for a place to get thier electronics repaired
