Bought a $400 Samsung Galaxy S4, treated it like ...

Bought a $400 Samsung Galaxy S4, treated it like I had other cheap $100 pay go phones I used in the past but the battery exploded on this one. Went in to get it in for a fix. Made sure they knew to email me (my phone was obviously in for repair). Never heard anything. In the meantime a friend gives me a phone to use wifi on so I buy a SIM card from them. Go back in, in person to see if phone is repaired after months of not hearing anything and an informed that it's scrap. Sales associate THEN tells me that I shouldn't have had it plugin for so long?! Maybe useful information for when I'm first buying the phone? Then I ask to buy a time card for the s card I bought for the loaner phone when sales associate THEN tells me it's "been sitting idle too long" and that I need to buy a new one?!!?! TERRIBLE customer service. Not everyone is a cell phone expert, that's why your there and I'm not just buying online. One star. Wish there was no stars.
