We parked in their garage while doing business at the nearby French consulate. My husband had to use the restroom so one of their kind attendants suggested we go inside the hotel. That was the night of the Met Gala in the City, and Bella More

Had dinner and saw Woody Allen's jazz band - very expensive but a once in a lifetime experience. Meal was delicious and great cocktails. Tables are crowded in but it's a small room and the atmosphere is fantastic.

My first and only time that I actually received a room upgrade with my premium card membership was when my wife and I spent the weekend at The Carlyle. Was not expecting anything extraordinary, but when our room had a foyer, powder room, More

Just recently I stayed at the Carlyle Hotel in NYC. Let me tell you it was phenominal! Excellent service, Great Food, and it is in the perfect location on the Upper East Side. The showers are my favorite, its like a mix between a shower and a massage. I Definitely 100% recommend it. Go to the Carlyle this Summer! :) Hope this Helps.

By far the worst experience I have ever had. We had our group stay 2 weeks at the Carlyle hotel in NYC. During our stay several members of our group were moved numerous times into different rooms just so they could accommodate other guest, very unorganized. The building is also under construction and you can hear the constant banging, hammering and drilling. Horrible place to stay.

The Carlyle is a wonderful hotel located in the upper east side of Manhattan. It's only a ten minute taxi ride away from the hustle and bustle of midtown. The staff are friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Definitely a great stay.

Stopped by for coffee and cocktails after visiting the MET. The atmosphere was great, Bemelmans artwork on the walls was supremely charming, drinks were good and service was excellent as well. Lovely place.

A historic hotel that needs a complete refurbishment. The rooms are dated and not always in excellent condition. I suggest finding a way to restore breakfast and buffet, in addition to paper. This infatuation requires more time and not always the necessary calm. Very friendly and helpful reception staff, especially Lorraine.

Classic New York luxury. This hotel is truly timeless. I had the pleasure of enjoying drinks with friends in the lobby a few days ago. Live music played in the background as perfect cocktails were poured and enjoyed. We were sitting in the back, away from the windows. I turned my phone off, closed my eyes, and for a minute, felt like I was sitting in 1940s New York. A very cool feeling few hotels can actually achieve.

One of the great hotels of all of the Eastern Seaboard and the United States. Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis stayed here multiple times. And the most beautiful woman of the 20th century, namely Elizabeth Taylor, stayed here. A 5-star superb Hotel

Wonderful amazing staff. Waldo was such a superb concierge. He was very interested in getting to know exactly what we had in mind for our stay and helping us find the best places to mingle in the evenings. Room was HUGE, very clean and quiet. The hotel even offered a babysitting service!
Awesome. Total 5 stars.

I was greeted and naturally I asked a lot of questions. Yes I was allowed to photograph without flash as long as I did not take photos of the hotel guests. Sounded reasonable to me.
I particularly enjoyed the photos of the famous guests. President Kennedy's and Jackie's photos across from each other. The concierge told me they were taken at different times. Not the same visit to the hotel. It appears to be a popular hotel for politicians. There's a photo of Bill and Hillary in their young days. Also Nancy and Ronald Reagan in their glory!!

Quintessential New York extravagance. The personnel are 100% committed to excellence in service. They will accommodate your every reasonable request. Historically accredited, globally respected, and always there when you need a home like place for a break in the madness of business. Chef is dishing out the flavors, piano bar, always a taxi waiting.

Service impeccable. Food a culinary delight. Ambience spectacular. On the list during NYC Resysirant Week. $26 for lunch add dessert and wine paring for a nominal Cost
Definitely a restaurant for an experience of a lifetime. Walking distance from the MET.
