The cap always had good shows. Views are great, tickets are reasonable but drinks are a bit expensive.

This place is great it was Jerry Garcia's favorite concert venue in the whole United States

Great local venue. They're starting to really get a good diversity in the acts they're bringing so we don't always have to travel to NYC just to hear a cool band. The sound system is run well. Can't speak to the bar as I don't drink, but I figure it's about the same as any other venue.

This was my first time at this venue and I was absolutely impressed! The staff was courteous and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience. From the ticket checkers to the coat check attendant and everyone in between. I highly recommend this venue!
And it's historic wealth is an added bonus!

Absolutely Fantastically Surprising lineup of Different Musicians!! I was Standing Up Dancing on the main floors big open space with 100 other people Dancing with me!!!!!!

One of the best music venues in Westchester maybe even New York. I would recommend going if your favorite band is set to play here. I have sat above and stood below. What I have found is that there is no bad place to watch/listen at the Capitol Theatre. Also the price of admission is reasonable when compared to other venues especially in NYC. Port Chester is quick train ride away for those coming from NYC. And the walk from the train station is just seconds.

My 1st Dead show was there 41 years ago (Feb. 71) ....great show. The Capitol was old and run down (like The Fillmore)....great for the times. Just saw a couple of shows for Phil and Friends at the newly reopened, beautifully renovated Capitol Theatre. Definitely the best show I've ever seen( trust me, I've seen Lesh many,many time over the past 41 years). The music was awesome and you could see the band enjoy the intimacy of the room.

The Theatre....awesome, outstanding job on the renovation. The Theatre and all staff was very friendly and accommodating. Looks like some good shows coming up, I'll be there.

Beautiful, intimate venue, not a bad seat in the house! Easy to park and restaurants within walking distance.

Beautiful, renovated. I saw a comedy show and a couple concerts there. The venue is perfect no matter the occasion and has a real sense of history. It is a great way to get people into Port Chester to appreciate the diversity of the town.

great to see this old venue revived. super convenient to get to. Less than a block from Metro-North. Or you can get a taxi or a bus also less than a block away.

With its rich history I recommend that everyone who has a chance to visit this place does so. The jam band scene has made it s mark here and continues to play great shows here.
The staff is always friendly and courteous. The location of the venue is nice. It s always a treat being able to catch a show here.

Always a great place to see the theater style music performance. Not a badd seat in the house and the sound is fantastic. They have a smoking section outside for those of you who indulge. They have beer inside, and you can buy with cash or card at 1 of their kiosks a classic in a historical building with great sound and lights.

Great venue with excellent acoustics. It only took a few minutes to get through security, and the show we saw was great! Also, decent beer selection at Garcia's with a few dark options as well.

Sold out show but still had plenty of elbow room. Love that the venue knows when to call the cup full. The theater itself is beautiful--ornate ceilings and a functional balcony space. Been there tons of times & honestly there's no bad spot in there to see a concert.

Intimate atmosphere, excellent acoustics, however the folding cushion seats are not very comfortable. Very easy access via Metro North, Port Chester station.

The Capitol is the best live music venue in Westchester county NY and possibly the entire world. You can see the bands from anywhere on the floor with that great sloped floor design. Phenomenal lighting, easy and quick access to bars and always top notch acts . Pete you did a great job masterminding this operation. Hats off to you for the Amazing attention to detail. Grateful for sure.

Went to see Hannibal Burress. Nice theatre. Has a vintage feel to it.

this place is amazing. from the head of security KJ, to the crew lead Eliot, to all the bartenders, staff, and everyone who makes this place run - it's my favorite venue in the Northeast!

Great acoustics ,sound system , nice sized stage.Reminds me of THE CHANCE in Poughkeepsie NY , but larger.

Great size for a venue and they get decent acts...happy its not to far of a drive and parking isnt an issue like in the city...also surrounded by some great eateries so all in all a fantastic night!

Amazing venue, absolutely legendary. Love making the trip here for a show. I only take away one star because the security here seriously need to chill out.

Could not be happier about the service we received and the environment of this theatre. My girlfriend and I went for the first time May 11th. We ordered general admission not knowing we would be standing. We are both short so it was unfortunate we could not see the whole band from anywhere but up top. This is normal for us as avid concert goers. The usher Amanda was extremely sweet and let us down until those ticket holders came. It was extremely nice. From start to finish every employee was helpful and seem to enjoy their place of business! Thank you Capital Theatre for an awesome experience, I will definitely be back!
