One of the best hotels I've had the pleasure of visiting

Great hotel with rooms that make you feel like you are sleeping in the rainforest.

The breakfast while good is buffet style which I think is a little outdated now. Given its not a 500 room hotel I think it could be a la carte.

Only there for the happy hour but nice nibbles very relaxing and exclusive.

We stayed here when it first opened years ago and it was amazing then... I was a little nervous last week when we were going back as I thought it wouldn't be as good due to it may have become outdated and newer place have opened ect... but I must say this resort is extremely well managed and maintained, the staff are still so friendly and helpful and the rooms have been updated and still very nice, the restaurant and pool area were very good also, our last weekend there was just as good as our first stay.

We stayed at this hotel as part of our trip down the coast to Sydney and we couldn't have been happier with our visit here. The staff were fantastic, helpful and friendly, especially Xavi on Reception. One of the best settings for a hotel I have stayed at in the middle of a rainforest with a true luxury feel that caters to not only couples but families too. I would recommend to anyone visiting Byron Bay.

Beautiful resort, fantastic staff, great rooms but they need to pay more attention to the little things. Our toilet was faulty, the sun room looked like it was aging fast and little bits and pieces around the resort needed maintenance. Most importantly though, I would come straight back if given the chance.

A truly beautiful place to stay. Perfect to relax and chill. Rooms situated in the bush to make it very relaxing. Large apartment style rooms with plenty of space to spread out and be secluded. Would definitely visit again.

Horrible stay made worse by the rude, inconsiderate staff! The location, scenery and accommodation were above average, almost amazing. Holiday ruined by the food, lack of service, rude staff and bugs galore!

The Byron has a great feel, with a sophisticated yet relax atmosphere. The rooms are broken up into blocks away from the main buildings, so they are quiet and peaceful.

Decorations that look like spiders, hot water fluctuates a little.
Comfortable beds, well set out rooms in a quiet rainforest setting.
Would come again definitely.

Stopped in for a drink. Relaxing verandah, great service. Well worth a stop.

What a gorgeous location and staff were so attentive. I only wish that they would offer a return shuttle from the main strip for after dinner, maybe around 9pm? Other than that it was gorgeous

Nice resort, with rooms set among the bush. The rooms (more like granny flats) were spacious and well equipped, including a kitchenette and washing machine. It's a fair way from central Byron, so rent a car or use the rental bikes.

Beautiful resort !! A little out of Byron but there is a free shuttle to Byron 3 times a day.
Will definitely be back for another stay!

We had the most beautiful 3 days at Byron On Byron! The highlight was the day spa experience at the end of our trip. Thoroughly recommend booking in with Danielle for a massage. Fabulous stay - thank you all!

Awesome experience staying inside an Australian Rain Forset!

From my phone call confirming to our checkout the table service was poor. The worst was the 15% surcharge for a "Sunday " which was $36.45 for us. Food was not upto the price being asked. Fried were cold and leek a d artichoke main gritty andv chewy. It was empty which seemed unusual for peak summer season. The manager -anthony from Morocco was great though as he tried to mop up others mistakes.

This place is so amazing I've actually posted the review before I've even checked out. We just keep saying over and over again how happy we are here.

Babymoon package - was definitely a special occasion and although the price was dear you get what you pay for here. Outstanding experience, rainforest is peaceful, staff are amazing, and the food is fantastic. Close to the beach and a romantic experience. 3 days is perfect.

Dropped in for drinks with friends and it felt like a private space just for us. Beautifully appointed and comfortable. Luxury feels all around.
We didn t try the restaurant but it looks gorgeous.

One of the most beautiful places we have stayed and exactly what we needed after a horrible year. The room was so stunning and peaceful, the pool area and cocktails were amazing and we loved the morning yoga. It was certainly an incredible experience to stay in a resort with its own rainforest and we cherished every moment. Can t wait to return.

We stayed at the resort originally for 2 nights for a medical conference and couldn't leave without extending for another night as it was very relaxing and quiet.
Amazing staff at the reception, Walking distance to the beach, great breakfast buffet.
We had dinner 3 times at their restaurant and the food was amazing.
On our last night my husband ordered the kingfish and it was undercooked, my husband was happy to eat it anyway as he loves sashimi but when the waiter was notified they immediately ordered us another plate. We felt bad for the chef as he clearly was having a bad day. Such stuff always happens in the kitchen so it didn't affect the quality we received overall.
It was an amazing stay and we would definitely come back again.

Spent 4 nights here with my wife! Now it is the only place we will stay at Byron. It is beautiful!

The restaurant, Forest is exceptional. Fantastic food and service staff.
We would definitely recommend getting 'The Nest' for dessert, it was made up of Kataifi pastry, white chocolate and salted caramel parfait. It was our preferred dessert over 'The Forest' which tasted less spectacular and a little stale.

Love the food in the restaurant. Very good service. Good value.

Had lunch and it was amazing with lots of options and vegetarian/vegan menus.

I didn't stay at the hotel as a guest but I visited the spa with my partner and we were absolutely pampered and spoiled. I couldn't recommend it more.

Terrible, rude staff, poor facilities, located in a swamp. Breakfast was woeful in restaurant. Dinner was better food but soured by rude wait staff. Walkways were run down and very slippery if wet. Definitely not 4.5 stars. Rooms were average.

We have just had our annual Principals conference here and it was exactly as we expected, first class!

I stayed at this resort for a work conference. This was the first time that I'd been at this resort and I had a great time.

The resort is essentially constructed over 20-plus acres of mangroves.

The rooms are well appointed and stylishly designed in an eco way, with a full kichenette (including a washer/dryer) and nice bathrooms (including a freestanding bath).

The facilities are good, with a nice pool that you can do laps in, a sauna and tennis court (amongst others). The long beach is also close, which you access via a security gate from the resort and a nice walk on a wooded path.

The food was also nice and healthy, and the service friendly and accommodating.

3 of us thought the massages that we received were among the best ever. Thank you!

The staff, services and facilities are amazing. We absolutely loved our 3 night stay and would certainly come back again. The staff are all friendly and welcoming which makes the staying here much more enjoyable. Thank you for a wonderful getaway to paradise!

So beautiful & serene on the rainforest boardwalk. Easy walk down to the lovely beach. Staff were absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much trouble.

My husband and I stayed here recently for a couple of nights as part of our honeymoon and absolutely loved it! They have thought of everything, the place is absolutely stunning, I only wish we had stayed there longer.

The staff are 5 star all the way. Great Mindful walks through the grounds. Loved every past stay. The only issue is trying to stop people smoking at the rainforest resort - as not what you need when travelling!

I recently took my husband for a special evening of massages and degustation menu for his birthday. I was overwhelmed with the service offered by Ollie who is their guest services manager. We had a slight complaint about a spa experience and not only was he prompt to offer a solution, Ollie went above and beyond to ensure the next hours we spent at the resort were perfect. The service and care provided will be the exact reason I return to Byron st Byron. Not to mention the absolutely stunning location and facilities. Very very happy. I highly recommend

Relaxing environment set amongst acres and acres forest. Great amenities if you require them. Staff friendly - rooms are more apartments with all you need.

Very relaxing stay here. Great walking trail boardwalks throughout the resort. Friendly staff and great location.

Absolutely gorgeous. Wonderful apartments in rainforest settings. A few minutes walk to a fabulous beach and a shuttle or drive to the bohemian town. Staff are efficient, effective and lovely. There is nothing missing! Love it.

Rating the restaurant: Impeccable service, beautiful airy ambience, amazing fresh oysters served on ice, first class food, good wine list, really recommend.

Like the rainforest setting and the suites in general; not fond of the quality of the bar and restaurant. Amazing Tallow beach just two steps away.

Beautiful resort with warm friendly staff. Loved the restaurant which is located next to the stunning pool there is also a large comfotable outdoor deck with beautiful seating overlooking the rainforest, even the gift store has some amazing gift pieces. Very comfortable accommodation.

Fabulous stay! So peaceful! Beautiful pool, bar, accommodation and restaurant. Delicious dinner and wine at Forest. Yoga each day and bikes a lovely bonus! Great staff from the reception staff to cleaners to Ben at the pool bar!

Stay at here every visit to Byron bay. A relatively new facilities with 5 star rating.
Service are great. Extremely clean and very well decorated villas.
The pool is the best as lying besides it sipping a house made mojito represents the best time we spent at Byron bay.
Leaving wonderful memories and highly recommend to all my friends.

Resort in a rain forest, pretty hard to beat that. Excellent staff and facilities and close enough to Byron but far enough away to be away from the city centre.
