The Bull's Head - Mottram St. Andrew Reviews

Visited here for a pub lunch at the end of last week with my husband - food ok but very sparse. The waitress who served us was not at all helpful and she was downright rude. She even tutted and muttered under her breath when my husband asked for mayonnaise. Not sure of her name but she was wearing a bright orange blouse. A smile doesn t cost anything. She shouldn t be in that line of work if she cannot be pleasant to customers. Will not be visiting again.

Totally lovely place to go for a drink or. Unpretentious friendly atmosphere whatever time you go - staff very friendly nothing to much trouble - always make you feel welcome. Smiley faces even when pulled out

Lovely country pub with real fires and good pub food. The service is very good and the menu is reasonably priced. It can get very busy with a 40 minute wait at peak times on a Sunday. It is popular with all ages, so if eating alongside families with young children is not your thing, I should avoid weekend lunchtime and early evenings.

Really lovely characterful pub with roaring log fire. Super menu - great choice & a bit different without being too poncey! Quite pricey, but well worth it. Fabulous food - couldn't fault it.

There's a lot of choice however I find it hard to find something I like.

The Bulls head hosted an event for us on a Friday evening... a group of 20... the service was excellent from booking the event to finishing the evening. The food was spot on, all 20 meals arrived at the same time and was delicious.
Could not recommend highly enough especially if you re looking to host an event. Will be holding similar evenings at the Bulls head again.

Excellent beer but several items sold out on lite bites menu

A slight change in the menu has improved on what I didn t think could be. Sunday roast lunch is outstanding. The staff are friendly, accommodating and welcoming. The pub itself is cosy and has so many little nooks and crannies that it never feels overcrowded.
