Good food & great selection of real ales. Nice old tractor outside, too.

Lovely, comfortable pub with good food if just a tad overpriced.... Not really a pub to visit in the evening just for a drink as it is very much geared up to dining. Nice place nonetheless.
Food was really good, service was great and took care of our large party, will be visiting again!
Hi just had a super meal Sat outside with the sunshine beaming down . Beautiful evening . Super waiting on staff. Well recommended. Looking forward to my next visit .
Good food and friendly service, nice menu, cosy place for a winter lunch or dinner
Really nice atmosphere, family friendly, dog friendly, great food and friendly professional staff. We've eaten at the Bulls Head numerous times and enjoyed them all.
Excellent food, excellent service and good beer. Roast pork was fantastic and a decent choice of real ale. Service was pleasant and attentive. Looking forward to going back.
One of my daughter and I's favourite restaurants in the Brunning and Price collection. Food is always spot on, the place itself is gorgeous the staff are brilliant.
Really enjoyed our meal here, taking covid seriously lots of measures in place, very clean. Food was fantastic, absolutely top notch and well worth the cost. Great selection of beers too and excellent service. Will be returning.
Really nice food in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere
Fantastic place to eat and relax. The manager Andrew is a great host and his team are excellent.
The four of us enjoyed our lunch here. Nice atmosphere. Great service. Nice staff. With open fires, would be great in the winter months. Large menu with something for everyone. We had the scallops for a starter. For main we had Crispy chilli beef salad which included Lotus fruit, it was very nice and unusual. The portions were quite large so left us with no room for desert. Good value for money, Will be back soon ;-)
Part of the Brunning and Price group. Seems to boast a rather uppity clientele, with prices to match. Nice location on the road between Wilmslow and Prestbury, with tasteful decor and good quality food throughout.
Staff did really well in PPE - hard work when hot! Could do with some more windows open but good food - really enjoyed it. Well done
Good food, safe environment, friendly staff on the whole.
Really Great food! Lovely staff, really helpful with the children (8m & 3y) would absolutely go again
Gorgeous Christmas meal perfect!! Thank you all so very much!! Xx
Excellent food. I went for the vegetarian tagine. One of the best meals I've eaten in ages. Bang on for portion size too. Also very attentive staff and smiley.
We love this place for so many different reasons:
1. Cosy with warm fire places
2. Good selection of beer and ale
3. Big enough with lots of seats and tables of different sizes
4. Food is very good indeed
5. Staff are friendly and the service is great
I would recommend booking which you can do online.
Lovely atmosphere. Friendly helpful staff amazing food.
Lovely pub /restaurant with great service, menu and surrounds. Dog friendly, water bowls always full! Lol
Nice country pub with good food and service. Menu was well presented but not overly seasonal, there was a lot of heavy sounding dishes: pies, roasts etc... Lighter dishes would have been appreciated. That said my chicken breast in pulses and broth was tasty, but probably one of the for October not July.
We'll stop in again though next time we are in the area.
Food is good and staff were accommodating. 11 of us eating and they moved around tables for us.
Great Sunday lunch highly recommend if you're in the area great staff it's advisable to book but the staff will always to there best to accommodate you.
Fab! Excellent food, excellent service! Will definitely be returning!
Very nice indeed. Some friends and I find if there is a Brunning and Price pub in the area we are visiting, this is one of their chain. We really enjoy our lunch visits.
Entertained a group of 23 on a single table, great food great service. Will be back soon thanks.
Aways great meal and great service here for lunch and dinner. Have yet to try breakgast but menu looks good.
I had a great evening with my best friend,we had great starters and everything was so tasty, the girls were so helpful and to top the night off ,I had a chocolate brownie & clotted cream,oh and also we had tokens towards our bill.I would highly recommend this cosy Restaurant.
Great food and good friendly service. We love that dogs receive a warm welcome too
Probably not the cheapest pub but the quality is good.
Very pleasant pub in a convenient location with good parking. Good food, nice service, attractive interior. No complaints and definitely somewhere to remember.
Lovley food & atmosphere, sat outside in the winter sunshine, will certainly be going back.
Ok place but don't book for a large party as they can't cope.
Food is decent, nothing you can't get anywhere else. Staff arnt all that attentive and that let's it down. A more diverse menu would I prove the place.
Such a shame as I really wanted to love this place as the setting and location is stunning.
However, we stopped by on Monday afternoon for a few drinks and some food. The beer was good and the bar staff excellent (thats the one star) but the food was a massive let down - the garlic bread with cheese came and it was 2 rounds of white toast, some sort of garlic butter and melted cheese on top. Not what we expected! It did make us wonder what the garlic bread without the cheese would be.
Then we had the burger, this wasn't much better. The bun of the burger was a White Oven Bottom Muffin / Roll which in its self is a cardinal sin. The coleslaw looked like it had been out for awhile and was a yellow colour on the top and white when you removed the top layer - didn't even risk trying it. The only other item on the plate were the chips. It looked like the chips they had given us were the end of a batch as there were about 4 each that we could eat, the rest were crusty ends and small fried bits.
We ate what we could and left very disappointed and wished we had gone to another pub that's local as we had originally planned.
Excellent pub with excellent food. Great menu selection at a good price. Just a pity we had to leave our table at 8pm as it had also been booked for another party. I expect to stay at my table for the evening not for just 2 hrs.
Excellent food, atmosphere, and ale. Friendly staff, good value for money and a lovely place to have a meal. I will definitely be back.
Usually one of my favourite pubs but tonight was disappointing. Mediocre meal and there was no heating on, so I was uncomfortably cold.
A nice pub. Good food. Very helpful and friendly staff.
Nice well run pub. We enjoyed our Sunday roast lunch here.
Lovely cozy pub with excellent food and friendly service. Nice sized portions, will certainly be revisiting.
Great place to eat & drink with the family. Open fires, friendly staff & amazing service. We love it !
Great food and staff. Made to feel very welcome. Even came over with treats for my dog
A lovely pub with real character and a bit of class. We stumbled upon The Bulls Head after a country drive. The menu is full of traditional classics and although it may seem pricier than standard pub fare, the high standard of food makes the slightly higher prices worth while. Service was prompt and friendly. Food was excellent. The venison (with venison cottage pie on the side) was a real highlight and recommended. Desserts were generous, yummy and reasonably priced We'll definitely be back. Plenty of parking available.
Excellent food lovely surroundings highly recommend.
Very cosy and relaxing delicious food nice staff good service .
Fantastic venue. Staff very attentive. Superb food. Had a great time. Will definitely be returning soon.
Great big British pub restaurant that served wholesome food properly.
Loved this place. The Sunday roast was fantastic with beautifully cooked beef and lovely Yorkshire puddings and gravy. Good service too.
Great food, well kept beer and recently refurbished. A great place to enjoy a meal or casual drink.
Fantastic food and service, this is a regular great place to get something to eat with or without kids!
Simply wonderfully cosy. If you love good food or just a quiet drink in a timeless and relaxing environment, coal fires, big armchairs and friendly staff you won't be disappointed.
As always excellent food and service good. One of our favourite places.
Attractive large pub with big car park. Well situated in Mottram St. Andrew's. Lots of smaller rooms and very welcoming atmosphere. Staff attentive, new daily menu,
Open from 10am, food from noon.
Good place to begin walks.
Fabulous food, great ambiance and a lovely location.
Just used for the beer garden after a walk. Nice staff, atmosphere and decent variety in choice of beer. Everything was clean and well presented - definitely a nice stop by at the weekend. Shame the majority of people will have to drive to it.
Nice range of drink and food with friendly service.
Very friendly and efficient service and excellent food
