Great staff who are very polite and helpful. But, while our room was clean and modern in appearance, the decor was spartan and there was only a television on one wall which exhibited only a bland, white color. Fine if you want a sleeping room. The staff gives the hotel it's only value. The price demands much more.

We stayed in this hotel 2 times in a few days away and on both occasions we had a view deluxe. Nice room, quite spacious with views of Bryant Park beautiful, beautiful also very spacious bathroom with separate shower and tub, though the view overlooked the building in front (though we had always closed curtains). Very comfortable bed, quiet room both times (11th and 8th floor) despite the deluxe view overlooking the park and the street. Welcome chocolates every day, molton brown products, fast free wifi in the room. Hotel location perfect for visiting New York, just steps from the public library, 5 minutes walk from time square, empire state building, central station, 10 minutes from the top of the rock, restaurants and market opened 24/7 very close. In short, perfect hotel!
How then 4 stars instead of 5?
Because at the time of the first checkin they have blocked me on my credit card $1,125 as a guarantee and that are blocked still 15 days away , and the same amount the second time, which I find absurd! I pointed out the thing and a guy at the reception has avoided being still lock that amount for the second time.
Overall, however, it remains A hotel perfect for New York and certainly I will be back

Ashley, Ashley! I am currently staying at this gem and was welcomed by the most accommodating, kind human which is hard to find in New York! I had a different room booked and was a bit flustered about the changes I needed. Without hesitation she helped, kindly upgraded my room and gave me bottles of water and chocolate! This was just the beginning of true service. My bags were delivered immediately with great room information. Housekeeping offers turn down service and is genuinely kind. My room is light and bright, impeccably clean with a roomy bathroom and sitting area. With space being a premium I was surprised to have a large bathtub and separate shower. I am so pleased to meet an accommodating staff with a great space to relax. Thank you again Ashley! You have made my work trip wonderful!

My wife and I took a short trip to New York to see the sights, catch a play, and generally to enjoy the city. The location is perfect, the rooms were beautiful and spacious and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We were sad to leave and would happy come back here on our next visit. Worth every penny!

Our room has a good view to see the Christmas market and the ice rink and the Christmas tree. Everyone in the hotel was very kind and helpful. On Christmas Eve, I had a wonderful evening at the hotel's 25th floor, open to all of us, where you can see the beauty of the city. I highly recommend this hotel, if you come to New York, this is the best.

Stayed one night on a short business trip. Its a boutique hotel with a great vibe. They upgraded me to a junior suite and it was very contemporary with windows overlooking Bryant Park and with an amazing view of Freedom Tower. It also has an upscale sushi restaurant, Koi, in the lobby though the wait was to long for me to eat there. Being able to walk outside to the activity at Bryant Park was the highlight though. The park was filled with people for a small concert and food vendors - fantastic people watching.

The hotel was fine; large and clean. The main reason I am posting is because the hotel did NOT let us know that parking has to be validated (which parking is run by a separate company several streets over). We had to walk back to get our ticket validated in the middle of a parade. Be warned - the parking people are rude and will make you walk back just to get a sticker on your ticket. The hotel should have made it clear from the beginning as to the procedure with parking.

UPDATE: I am changing my stars from 1 to 3, as the staff reached out fairly promptly and apologize for the oversight (additional oversight is that we were charged for a dental kit that we never used). The hotel is large and clean, and in a great location if you want to see Broadway shows. Thank you to management for promptly addressing my concerns.

There was nothing I didn't love about this beautiful hotel. The obvious attraction of it is the wonderful location - our room overlooked Bryant Park and was in the middle of everywhere. The staff was more than helpful when we checked in early and left our luggage and called us when our room was available (still much earlier than their guaranteed check-in time). Our room was very large which is so rare in NYC, it was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. You'd be very happy here!!

From start to finish this was the best NYC hotel I've ever stayed at. Yazmin greated us at check in making sure we had everything we needed in our room. Hui and the other staff members made sure we had everything we requested in a matter of minutes. The room was was amazing with even better views. We usually stay at the marquis but being in a smaller hotel with impeccable staff is nothing you can put a price tag on. For what we paid and what we got we will never stay at another hotel.

I arrived very early on a red-eye, and had requested early check-in. Didn't hold out much hope for that at 9:30 am, but they offered to upgrade me to a junior suite that was ready for me for $50. I considered that a steal, and it had a great view of the park. Didn't have to stumble around like a zombie for hours, was very grateful for that. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was huge with really nice Molton Brown toiletries. Very happy with my stay here.

Bryant Park Hotel is located innthe heart of midtown New York. It is a boutique hotel outfitted in dark red, mahogany and black. The rooms are typical of most NY city hotels which are on the smaller side. Molten Browm products are sticked in the bath rooms.

I give this hotel five stars for value based on excellent service and a fabulous location. The rooms (never very large in NYC) were very clean, will designed if simple, and thoughtfully arranged. Every member of the staff we dealt with was extremely friendly and helpful. As we were there in summer, we loved taking a coffee to beautiful Bryant Park from the little bistro a few doors down, Le Pain Quotidien, where we had breakfast. (Pain Quo. is a chain but a great one, and European. The hotel serves breakfast too, and provides room service, but we didn't try it.) We also ate outdoors at the restaurant in Bryant Park the night we arrived. Lovely! Very decent menu for a spot with so much tourist appeal.
The best part came after we left! I always leave something in hotels. This was the first time ever that the maid turned it in--a sweater. Someone from the hotel was very kind, helpful, and prompt about mailing it to me in Boston. Of course I paid for the FedEx or whatever fee it was. Don't remember if there was a service charge. I would expect so. Highly recommend.

The Bryant Park Hotel makes hospitality at its finest. Stayed there to celebrate my wife's birthday and they didn't measure efforts to make the staying great. They have upgraded my room, leave a kind gift to my wife and were always available to meet any needs we have. They have the room cleaned twice a day. The room is very spacious (I got a junior suite), clean and well decorated. God amenities in the bathroom. Nice, clean and comfortable bed.
All of this together with a wonderful location (walking distance to must-see attractions and lots of subway stations) make this place a no-brainer choice!

The windows and light in the room are so wonderful, and the bathrobes are perfect. The Molton Brown bath products are definitely a surprise. The gym is basic, quiet, and everything is suitable for intense and intense sports - fitness solid ball, semi-spherical ball , free snatch, balance board. Awesome place, especially suitable for a few more days. Room service, overall staff and hotel are outstanding. The window is not soundproof, it is recommended to live on a higher floor.

Sophisticated. Well-located in midtown. Good restaurant. Clean rooms and good prices. Only drawback is that often there s a staff person who is rude. I ve stayed there many times and would go back despite the sometimes poor service.

My upgrade to park facing suite would have warranted a five-star rating had it not been for the dirty windows one had to look through to see the park which was under heavy construction all night long. Probably worth another try when the park is finished and maybe the windows get cleaned.

I couldn't even finish the mea it was so salty or order a dessert because I was so full after drinking so much water. 2 stars for the food

Ate at koi restaurant. Sushi was ok for a high end sushi place, sashimi slices were very thin and small then most places I have been. Entree was good. I wouldn't go here again for sushi. Much better places for the price.
