We had a fabulous time at the Kimpton Brice! The staff was very friendly (Nautica and Xavier) and everything was clean (super important during Covid). We originally planned to stay only one night in Savannah but as soon as we walked in our suite we decided that we would stay an additional day. The room was too nice for just an overnight stay. The bathtub was phenomenal. I NEVER take baths at hotels but this one was so inviting. My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing bubble bath together. :)

This place has been absolutely amazing. Besides the great location and beautiful hotel, the staff has gone above and beyond. From Jamar at front desk, to Adrian and Lucas at valet, they have paid attention to every detail. They are knowledgeable of the area and activities. The hotel is overboard pet friendly. They have treated our dog Heath as one of the human guests. The treatment u receive here dwarfs the top name hotels at which I have stayed. I can not recommend this hotel enough.

A good option for a weekend stay in Savannah. The lobby and courtyard are great places to relax and read and their restaurant Pacci can fill any hunger pangs you might have. Note that Bay St can be noisy and the hotel is dog-friendly so barking at all hours of the night is not out of the ordinary.

Beautiful place. Excellent service. Within walking distance to both historic downtown and the River Front. The best part.....they love pets! We can't wait to visit and stay here, again.

Pros: Check in staff was friendly and helpful. Location was great.

Cons: Room was very dirty. hair in the sink, dirty towels. Received a random charge a few weeks later, for no reason. When attempting to find out more information about it, no response from the hotel. Put on hold every time I tried to call.

Overall: Would not stay there again. Plenty of better places to stay in Savannah.

First of all we were greeted by Rodney, the most wonderful concierge ever. He offered us a glass of wine as soon as we got out of the car as it was cocktail hour. We were taken to our lovely room only after Rodney told us we needed a better room with a better view. We had a view of the pool & the famous Pirate's House where we walked for dinner after enjoying a lovely glass of wine in the Secret Garden. The lobby is both peaceful and modern. A lovely place to stay. We will be back!

Originally when we checked in we were put on the first floor right by the road. The carpet was fraying and stained and the bathroom mirror was broken as well as the mini fridge not working. We ended up switching out of this room a day after check in because between the dogs running in the room above us and the road, we hardly slept a wink. Our new room was much better on the 3rd floor. Beds are comfortable, but I would suggest bringing your own pillow. This hotel lacks a lot of amenities you expect from a 4 star hotel such as lotion in the room, make up remover, bags for dirty laundry, a microwave, and a pen and paper. The common areas are lovely, the staff is great and the daily complimentary wine hour was a nice touch. With that said, I have stayed in other 4 star hotels in Savannah and had a better experience. For that reason, I do not think we will be back to the Brice.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. The location is super convenient and walking distance. Please know that they do have a parking garage and you pay $26/day +tips for someone to park/retrieve your car. That was a added costly expense for us. But most places in Savannah dont have parking at all so I dont know that valet parking is a negative thing. Streets have parking limits and it can add up. Fortunately you wont need your car if you are staying downtown but if you go to the beach its a 20 min drive to Tybee Island. Room was musty but its a humid environment. The hotel is very cute, nicely decorated, and newly renovated. The courtyard is gorgeous. Pet friendly! We didnt have out pets but everyone elses pets didnt bother us at all. Rooms have good sound bariers between them so a yappy dog wont bother you or keep you up at night. Bathroom is a tight space. Free wifi. Pool area does not get/stay very busy. Peaceful place to stay.

My stay at the Kimpton Brice a couple of weeks ago was unforgettable! The location was perfect to enjoy a walk on the river walk as well as walking to see many of the historic squares and local restaurants and bars. The event that I attended there was perfect from the details of decorations, specialty drinks, food and music! I ll definitely look for a reason to go back!

Pleasantly surprised. We got a good price from Hotline and didn't know what to expect. On end of riverside so could walk to most places. Looks like an older place from outside and rooms are small but upscale. Bed was very comfortable. Very clean, nice and charming throughout. Big plus was the service and friendliness of staff. Quaint courtyard and nice pool area. Free bikes to use. We really enjoyed it compared to the chains. Will return.

Extremely disappointing stay. We came for what would have been our wedding date. My fiancee requested to have something special in the room. They clearly didnt care about celebrating with us. First we stayed one night in our original room, but the A/C didnt work. Each time I asked about it, they kept blaming it on someone else, the next shift specifically. Then when we "upgraded", they didnt put the fruit in the room until 10pm the night before we left. A complete disappointment. Even when I wpuld ask about the fruit/cheese plate, theyd say "yes, it'll be there while you are out, then yes first thing in the morning. None of what was told to us actually happened.

This is a great find in Savannah. There are a few hotels in the quality level but this one is actually reasonably priced. The in room mini bar / snack bar is excellent. The rooms are clean and seem well maintained. Walking distance to many great restaurants. Happy hour in the lobby has excellent wine and h'orderves.

Best. Hotel. Ever. Before I wrote this review I went to look at all the bad reviews so I could see what issues I could address. I found that people complained about room size, which is not that bad get out and enjoy your vacation or go use the pool or go for drinks in the restaurant that is attached! Stop sitting in your room. The amount of dogs seemed to be an issue which is weird. I was IN LOVE with how many doggies there were because I have a heart. I don t want to vacay around all those heartless people anyways, so I m fine with y all staying somewhere else. To the rest of us normal people, er, I mean dog lovers, this is THE place for you and your babies! Lots of cuddles and pets and even treats at check in!!! There were a few bad reviews about the restaurant, which was incredible, btw, but just FYI, go leave that review on the restaurant s page not here. Parking is yes, $31 per day valet (just like all other downtown hotels, btw) but you can street park, which was ample and only $12! Some days are street sweeping days so just pay attention to that, but just move your car really quick and, wow, look at that no problem don t be so lazy. Here s my favorite! People kept talking about not having a mini fridge in their room. Hahahaha. It s there, you just had to use your brain to find it. It s disguised as a cabinet (like a lot of hotels do.) And finally, I just want to shout out to Ms. Robyn and the entire staff for a job well done for making my little doggie feel so loved and welcomed. We had just lost our other pup before this trip so it really healed our hearts to be so loved there. With or without our pup we will ONLY stay at this hotel when in Savannah in the future! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

This hotel was booked through priceline so we did not know anything about this hotel until checking in. Nautica checked us in and was fabulous, she made our stay always helping us stay informed and meeting our every need. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and in a good location. We loved our room and the courtyard. The hotel is also pet friendly for anyone with dogs. Make sure you ask for their homemade granola for breakfast, it is delicious!

Only cons, we didn't love their restaurant for dinner and the night at the front desk were not as helpful, however it is hard for anyone to match Nautica's customer service.

I would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

I'm confused why this hotel is rated as high as it is and wanted to try let others know what I wish I would have known! I'll start with the positives. The hotel is in a great location, the lobby is nice, and the staff is friendly and helpful. However, I would not stay there again or recommend anyone staying there. I understand that it's a pet-friendly hotel, but it isn't executed well. Usually pet-friendly hotels have some sort of hard-surface floors to make cleaning easy and avoid smells. This whole hotel smells like a vet clinic. There were large stains all over the carpet in our room that I can only assume were from dogs peeing on the floor. The bathroom looks like it hasn't been touched since the 90s... outdated tile, a shower curtain ripped and torn all over, a horrible, old shower head with very low water pressure, and no fan in the bathroom. Because there is no fan in there, the whole ceiling was cracked and peeling from the humidity. Lastly, the air conditioner couldn't keep up and the room stayed about 5 degrees above what it was set on. This hotel needs to make major updates before it's somewhere worth staying!

Very nice establishment and accomodating staff. We arrived around 9:30 at night after a long day and some issues with another hotel last minute and Natalie at the front desk immediately helped us and took care of the situation, and very quickly put us at ease and got a room. Very pleased with the kindness and service. Highly recommend.

I ve never had a better valet experience in my life! Our room wasn t ready and they allowed us to leave our luggage in the car, and when we came back to go to our room they immediately had our car ready to unload. The rooms themselves are very nice and the hotel bar/restaurant is expensive but convenient. Lots of cute little touches and Savannah charm.
The only problem we had was that there is an elevator, but our room on the second floor had stairs to get up to it within the floor. The friend I stayed with is handicap but can do stairs with some difficulty, but it would have been better to know this in advance and book in a room on the other side of the hall with no stairs.

From the moment we pulled up to the curb until our departure we found cheerful and helpful staff. The patio was a great spot to enjoy the late afternoon complimentary vine. Although we didn't take advantage of their bicycles, they were in the lobby for use in lovely Savannah. Thanks to everyone for making this a special trip.

The room and overall hotel was dirty. The room smelled musty and moldy. There was mold in and around shower. The management needs to do a complete make-over and address cleanliness issue. It s a shame because bar and front desk staff were both very kind. If you are a pet friendly hotel, then there should be a designated non-pet floor. We were woken up by barking through the night. The smell of dog urine was overbearing. I specifically requested a non fur room...they asked and clearly that wasn t the case. I think the hotel misrepresents what it is....a kennel that your humans are welcome to stay at.

We selected this hotel because it is dog - friendly. We also love the Kimpton brand, which is artsy and stylish. Our room was nice, although there was peeling ceiling paint in the shower. We aren't eating indoors yet, so we enjoyed a "to-go" meal from the restaurant in the Secret Garden, a central outdoor patio which was perfect for us. I had the Cauliflower-Mushroom Bolognese, which is a vegan pasta dish. It was delicious. Nice wine list, too. Great location, good food, and two thumbs up from us. Super location close to the waterfront.

If you are looking for a sterile cookie cutter hotel this is NOT it! Is it perfectly clean, no.(hey, there are pets allowed here, what do you expect?) Is it the perfect place to chill with friends, four legged friends and meet new friends, yes! Let's face it most hotels are stuffy, they do not encourage socialization..not the Kimpton Brice! The beautiful courtyard was the perfect place to relax with coffee in the morning or mingle with new friends after a long day out. The in house restaurant, Pacci, had food available to either dine in with or take out to the fresh air and enjoy.
The rooms were boutique style with some metallic finishes and vibrant colors, beds are super comfy and we had really cold air conditioning. Parking right across the street was very convenient and inexpensive .This place has a library too!!!
The rooms were stripped of some of their normal amenities ( iron, robe) but a quick call to the front desk and all was remedied..thank you Alfonse for your quick service!
The location at the end of E. Bay made coming and going to Tybee Island smooth.
Looking forward to returning soon.
The only thing we were missing was a shelf in the bathroom to put our travel bags on, maybe ad one under the sink?

While I enjoyed the location of this hotel, my overall experience staying here wasn t great.

The walls were very thin, we could hear staff and guests talking, the elevator, dogs barking, walkie talkies, etc. The room was not very clean either. There were hairs on the floor and the carpet felt dirty. I saw a lot of housekeeping staff and cleaning carts in the halls from morning to evening, yet our room was never cleaned.
I have mixed feelings about the hotel staff. Some were rude, some were friendly. One of the employees, Alfonse, was very pleasant and professional.

Overall, I would not stay here again.

This is my second stay at a Kimpton hotel and once again I am sold. After signing up to be a Karma rewards member I booked within less than 7 days and over 100 dollars a night on our room. Yes, the rooms are rather small but they are very inviting and comfortable. I don't expect many hotels to have large and spacious rooms this close to the river unless the are a brand new build... But who wants that? The hospitality is great, the atmosphere is great, and the location is great. My wife and I came for a weekend while I was in GA for work. We parked the car when we arrived and picked it up when we left. Everything is within a 10 minute walk. If you have a pup or dog with you this is your place. If you're just looking for a place with a little flare instead of the boringness of the Marriott or Hampton Inn... This is your place.

Great prices for rooms. Decent Size rooms. Ever so different types of rooms which is a plus. The pool area is very nice. A free coffee station in the morning and social hour is early afternoon with free wine. A restaurant is attached to the hotel. The workout room is super small but that s fine. Amazing staff. Super friendly and helpful. I would
Highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming in from out of town.

Hotel looks artsy and pretends to be stylish, and does have a few stand out features such as outdoor courtyard ( secret garden ) which is cozy and pet accessible. However ... it needs to seriously up the game service wise. In my opinion the hotel is very understaffed. We booked a suite which comes with a sleeper couch. The couch does not come with bedding and in order to get it one has to walk down to reception area 4!!! Times to get sheets and a blanket. Calling room service does not work at all. The last excuse on the list was that room service person was on her dinner break. Blanket is very reminiscent of an airline blanket - ie as thin as it possibly gets. Next night one complains about freezing ( temperature / humidity cannot be not be adjusted properly as others here have pointed out ) and asks for another blanket. Guess how many visits to the reception area it took to get the second one ? Bingo - 4 times again . Complementary morning coffee is served in the bar by one very tired overworked person who takes her time , hence breakfast line can be very long. Don t get me wrong / I think the personnel are trying hard to be helpful, there is just not enough hands to do the work . And yes, bathroom are tiny and not ventilated and bathroom ceilings have cracks abs peeling paint as a result

Not up to Kimpton standards AT ALL. One of the worst IHG hotels I have ever stayed at- I was told the building was owned by a previous hotel brand up until, a year or two ago.
The carpets had huge white stains, paint was chipping and peeling everywhere, our sheets had rust stains on them. Overall it felt tired, outdated, and not very clean- something especially concerning during a pandemic. Rooms probably have not been updated in almost 10 years.
We paid for the premier king suite (their best room), and it was the size of a standard hotel room with no upgrades. All the suites are located on the first floor next to a busy street which is bizarre. Not worth the money at all. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The location is great, right off the riverfront and within walking distance of most stores. Durimg my visit, staff was rude, uncaring. Starting with the valet, it was almost impossible to track him down and ask a question and use the valet only parking lot. Almost had to beg him to take my car. Checking in and out was just as hard.. The rooms are OK, on the small side but they were clean, no problems there. This is a pet friendly hotel and walls/doors are thin, so you could be kept up from the sound of a barking dog if you're unlucky.

Extremely overpriced, $25 per night for parking. Left my Ray-Bans on the window sill in my room and the cleaning ladies stole them. I called them three times and every time they lied to my face and said they didn't find anything even though I know exactly where I left them. This hotel is just a "fancy" overpriced motel. Rooms are small, bathroom is small. Stay somewhere else in Savannah.

Decor is 5 , but execution is not so much. Our first assigned room suffered from a defective heating system, but Alphonse, the affable manag, offered us an alternative and a food credit. There's no light in the closet, and housekeeping missed all the turndowns, but the charming building is so well located that we were minutes from everywhere. But my biggest disappointment is the bar. It has the charm of a lunch counter and closes before 10:00.

The rooms were okay, but you could tell they were not cleaned properly. Just a shake of the sheets and you would see dirt flying everywhere. The one chair in the room had thick layers of dirt and grime over it. No tissues, pen, or paper anywhere to be found in the room. Had to ask for a box of tissues and they just gave us a half-used box. The phones also did not work. The staff was really nice and friendly which somewhat made up for everything.
