Really love this kimpton hotel. Pet friendly with a daily free happy hour in the lobb6. Great bar downstairs and cozy lobby with a big fireplace. Right in historic philly. Old school doormen and very friendly staff. Our favorite hotel.

This is an excellent hotel! We stayed the weekend for our 28th anniversary and everything was perfect. The room was clean and very pretty (love the eclectic decor!!) The staff is attentive and friendly and we loved the complimentary happy hour in the "living room". You can't beat the location of this hotel as our room overlooked Independence Hall and so much is in walking distance. To top it off, the Red Owl Tavern and Stratus Lounge are excellent. Can't wait to go back!

I really like this hotel. The rooms are great! Great views and clean! Everything else is subpar. You pay $50 for valet but you must wait 30 mins to get your car. They offer 24 room service but that only means that you re eating salads because that s all that they offer. Service at the front desk is also subpar. I honestly don t think I will return to this hotel because of the service. They don t know how to serve that type of guest that my stay here. It s a shame because it s a great hotel. If you re looking for just a nice room, then stay here. If you re looking for service stay at the four seasons hotel.

Great style and lounge. Rooms could use more pillows, better beds, and coffee machines. That said, the morning free coffee downstairs was amazing, but put away too soon. Bathrooms were fine. Good customer service.

Visited for one day room was upgraded with a view of independence hall. The room was big but decor is old. Also room does not have any coffee machine(We have visited other 4star properties and coffee machines was always included). The parking is far from the hotel. Rooftop was closed for the season.

Staff was pleasant and helpful in providing the directions for parking.

Bellman and valet staff were great. Reception staff were encouraging of dog owners to let their dogs walk about with no human on their leash. Was told that my concerns would be addressed and yet no changes through out our stay. The cable system is antiquated, causing outages in their tv offerings. I would not feel safe staying here again with my dog especially not for the price they charge..

The hotel was enjoyable. It is in a great location in philadelphia, close to many tourist spots and restaurants. The hotel itself is unique and modern in its decor. The room was small but expected for a big city hotel. The bathroom was spacious. The room, lobby, and hallways were all clean. The hotel has an onsite restaurant and rooftop bar. The rooftop bar is chic with a varied selection of drinks. We did not get a chance to try thr restaurant. The hotel also offers nightly wine service and morning coffee/tea. The staff was friendly and the check in and check out process was easy. Overall it was an enjoyable stay. The biggest draw is the location. It is expensive, however, in line with similar hotels. Parking($50)a night seems expensive to me, however, again appears to be the going rate. We found a parking garage a block away that only charged $19.

Hotel Monaco Philadelphia, was absolutely awesome. The staff bent over backwards to make our stay pleasant. Kristin Hoffman was a great help and was very pleasant. We were staying to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary and were treated with cake and wine.
Thank you Kristin and Hotel Monaco.

This was the best hotel experience I have ever had. From Sean at the front door, to Leah at the front desk, Matthew the bellman, and even Kris at the restaurant, we were treated like gold from the moment we arrived til the moment we left. Can't wait to return!

We went to Kimpton to meet our cousins for a wedding and we did not have the perfect stay.... the room is fine and good, but the restaurant is horrible. We found eggshells In the eggs in the morning and to get a muffin it s 4$ and more ridiculous priced meals too .we don t mind that it s expensive....but the food should be more than average if it s that much. On the last day, we switched to a different , more comfortable stay,,,,,,,do not go here because the only thing fun is sightseeing.

Colorful and stylish, with free coffee in the lounge from 6am. Good but pricey restaurant adjoing. Acquired in 2016 by IHG and I've detected a few changes (not necessarily related) - hoping for no more changes.

Excellent location, less than two blocks from either the visitor center or market street. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are certainly different than what has become standard fair at the chains. Much more colorful. Every room has a copy of Alice in Wonderland.

My stay at Kimpton Philly was the worst hotel experience I ve ever had in my entire life. I will never stay there ever again, and I will never recommend that anyone stay there if they plan to visit philly. The place is a clown factory and needs to undergo some serious changes. The hotel staff and their operations are so dysfunctional that the only way problems will get resolved is if corporate headquarters gets involved and sets everything straight. save your money and stay somewhere else if u can.

All Kimpton hotels have great style & service in my experience (Prices for food were extortionate as expected too) Small but stylish room with good quality bathroom products and comfortable bed. Great location!

The Kimpton holds a special place for myself and my husband. It's where we were when we got engaged and we spent a night there the day after our wedding. The staff made our newlywed stay there so special. Our room had a lovely card, to die for cupcakes, a nice bottle of red wine and a complimentary movie. The room was (as always) gorgeous and super clean and the view of the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall was gorgeous especially after the sun set. We plan on coming back in a few weeks. Can't wait to see you guys again!!

Gorgeous hotel with lots of character. The attention to detail in the decor is incredible. If you like posting photos on Instagram, there are no shortage of places to get a killer picture. They have complimentary coffee and tea in the morning and a happy hour at night. The service is top notch. I'll definitely be back.
