This place is pretty, but it mostly serves as a reminder that the wealth gap has grown to inequality not experienced in America since the guilded age. If you're into being reminded how much more wealthy you are than the average person, you'll love The Breakers.

The Breakers, is a very nice hotel with many amenities and a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean. I've spent 4 days here, and I've barely even left the hotel because there is so much to do. :)

I understand that s it s a higher quality place but being nickel and dimed for everything is ridiculous.
Also, paying close to 8 dollars for some fruit bagels and eggs I insane.
Just because people that go there have money doesn t mean they should charge the craziness they do.

Thanks to my job. I get to stay about twice a year at some very nice places. BEAUTIFUL place. the staff I think were some of the pepiest staff I have encountered. There were some facility issues that i thank were overlooked. strings of lights out on some trees. duck-tap on carpet in some of the conference rooms to repair tears. Things that i would normally look over but at a place of this caliber seemed a little neglected.
Food was great but very pricey as all these type of places are. Over-all great experience and well worth the adventure.

The facility was breathtaking! I didn t stay here over night but had planned a spa day. The services were good but we were mislead that their wasn t a couples room available at the facility. You are also not able to order food at the spa lounge outdoor space. More frustrating is that you are unable to use the pool facilities during the day and where not informed of this during booking. I love a good spa day and can say I was definitely let down by the whole expirence. I d much rather personally go to many other facilities for a spa day that allow full access to all the facilities especially when your paying primuium pricing. My personal favorites are Aqualina, or the The Standard. I just make it a Miami day. Very disappointed after all the hype about the property. The customer service as a whole was also not as esqisite as expected. Definitely not planning on ever going back.

Hands down the nicest hotel I've ever worked at. The location is immaculate the staff kind and eager to please and the grounds are maintained with a finesse that no other locale can compare too. A definite must!

Thank you very much for the Nico at the front desk. Because my birthday helped me upgrade the most advanced room for free. Let me have a wonderful birthday. Beautiful scenery. Excellent service. 5 stars.

Beautiful property. The resort is incredibly maintained and has a staff that provides excellent service. Plenty of variety for restaurants as well. Be sure to check out the Seafood bar and the aquarium counter. The rooms were decent enough but seemed slightly dated. The bed and linens were fantastic. The workspace/desk was fine but could have used more outlets.

If In south Florida and not visiting the Breakers. You are certainly missing out. First of all, the Breakers is open to everyone. There is no charge to visit. Second everyone that works there treats you as if you were a guest of the Breakers. So dont be intimidated. All the history, architecture, art work and just the ambiance will leave you breathless. Yes, it's expensive to eat or drink anything in most of the bars and restaurants. There are other options inside if you look. An ice cream, soda or coffee at very reasonable prices. This is one of America's best historical architectural gems. Don't miss out!!
They do offer tours at a very reasonable charge. Find out and plan way in advance.

I have to confess that Celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary at the Breakers was even a better experience than our honeymoon itself. Marcela at the desk reception went far beyond our expectation making our stay an unforgettable moment. from the valet parking to the breakfast buffet at the pool, from the exquisite suite to the magical view everything and everybody made our stay magical. As my wife said leaving this paradise: let s not wait 15 more years before we come back !

One of America's classic hotels. Absolutely amazing and upscale in so many ways. There is much to explore when you stay here at the Breakers. 5-star food, service and views. Drinks can get pricey, but you are also paying for amazing views of the Atlantic and some amazing common areas. Some rooms are better than others, so ask for a view if you can afford it. The property is large and has very nice pools, golf and beach areas. This is a top notch hotel in America, so bring your Platinum Card and enjoy a great hotel. Be sure to explore the entire hotel, inside and out. So much to see. There is also a great lunch restaurant on the golf course with nice views.

Gives you a feel that the building is older than it is (the original hotel was lost in a fire in the early 20th century). The lobby is amazing, there are great tapestries (museum quality). The Spa, however, is very modern. Expensive, but they have a pizza place I can afford.

Check out their famous Sunday brunch from 11:00-2:00, just remember that during season you might want to make a reservation as they get packed quickly. Choose from over 30 different desserts.

This is the #1 hotel in South Florida and probably one of the best in the world in my opinion. Every aspect from the grounds to the staff is absolutely amazing. Beautiful place with amazing history.

We've stayed at The Breakers three times in the last 12 years. This last trip was a mish-mash. The resort is beautiful. But everything else is inconsistent. That is the best word to describe it. Our room keys worked on some days and not on others. The food was good at times and horrible at other times. The staff was kind and generous at times and rude and rude, slow, smug most of the time . I think my biggest beef with this place, what is the cost to exist. Although our actual room rate was decent Our meals often cost 1 1/2 to 2 times as much as our room rate. For example -- $450 was our tab for four. We had one appetizer, a salad or soup, and 3 of the 4 had sandwiches. The food is marginal at best.
