Beautiful and historic hotel. While the rooms may not be glamorous, the service is top notch and the whole hotel is like nothing you've ever seen, especially the pool.
we got married at the Biltmore last year and had such an incredible experience. everything is so professional and organized, it was really amazing to work with their wedding team. Vanessa, Bruce and the rest of the team are SO helpful and really make you feel comfortable with the planning process. i can truly say it was a breeze to work with the biltmore team.
This hotel is amazing. Stunning architecture and a top notch resort as a whole. They were very attentive to all of my allergy needs. I would definitely stay here again!
Very nice historic property. Staff are friendly, rooms are clean and beautifully designed, food is fantastic. Wish I would have had the chance to experience the golf course!
After reading some of the comments about the Sunday Brunch I wasn't sure what I would find there. I should have known better, it was great. It's been a couple of years since I was there, so yes the set up is different, but the food was the same excellent quality as I remember. Everything from breakfast items to dessert was amazing. There a sushi station, pasta station, carving station, seafood station and more. The champagne, Mimosas, bloody Marys or select mixed drinks are included in the price and are free flowing. We were a party of 25 and our server, cristian, never missed a beat. Plates were cleared, flat wear replaced quickly and smoothly. If you're wondering if you should try the brunch, absolutely ! Enjoy!
Even being an old hotel is been updated and always smells sooo good! Once my phone fell in the parking lot and hours later when I realized I called the hotel from my husband's phone and they had my phone saved in the reception. I had to give a full description of the phone and it was amazing one of the employees took it to a safe place. They really care about you. It must be they treat their employees so good too.
I love this hotel stay on it everytime in vacation. The view is amazing. The pool is heated and so fantastic. Highly recommend parking is easy and free. So many nice places to take pictures in. Definitely worth paying a visit.p
A hotel as legendary as Le Breakers in Palm Beach, but on a slightly lower level !! The exterior architecture, at the start of the century, is magnificent and the park and the 18-hole golf course make it a sumptuous green setting.
The welcome is courteous and very professional, particularly the very friendly and very efficient Brooke, as well as the concierge, and luggage storage. The huge hall at the turn of the century is sumptuous, with its decorative palm trees and huge baroque cages, where small colorful parakeets are nestled.
The rooms are very heterogeneous in their size and comfort decor, we had to change ours, too small .. and were very satisfied with the second proposal .. A very beautiful space in the heights, with wonderful light and a breathtaking view !!
The huge swimming pool is bordered by a delicious gallery adorned with statues and in the Bar you can enjoy original cocktails .. and delicious
In the morning, for your breakfast, you live a dream !! Decor and buffet are superb .. The neo Moorish patio, punctuated by tall palm trees and a rustling fountain .. is sublime .. As for the buffet, delicious and, of extraordinary generosity .., it delighted us .... The people serving your tea or coffee or orange juice are adorable kind. . In this magical place, you can have a "High tea" or the very famous Sunday morning brunch.
A flat, for the French Restaurant, starred, "Palme d'or" reserved for my birthday
The sommelier called quickly corrected this incident. unpleasant.. The restaurant room is of good proportions, but with very ... noisy acoustics, not very conducive to a romantic evening ...
The plus, the small "pool houses", bordering the swimming pool where you can snack and relax in complete privacy. In conclusion. a lovely week-long stay in this establishment which delighted us, despite the small occasional inconveniences ... .
Nice location, beautiful pool . Room was ok. Walls are thin so you hear everything from every where. The cleaning crew would turn the bolt lock on their supply room and all morning would hear the door slams into the bolt and echo through out our room.
Beautiful place and incredible swimming pool. However the service at this hotel is some of the worst that I have ever encountered. And for the price it is completely unacceptable.
I have been a customer of this hotel for many years, but on my last stay I was extremely disappointed with the customer service. The hotel was unequipped to deal with the crowds on a holiday. I lost precious vacation time due to lengthy check in line. I had an issue and the front desk told me to wait until check out time to deal with it. The next day I talked with the front desk and they told me again to wait until checkout. When I checked out, the manager had no empathy and refused to offer any solution to my issue. I am surprised the hotel would put someone in a leadership position to deal with clients who treats them so poorly. If my business isn't valued, I may think twice about coming again.
I was staying here for a week attending a conference, and on the very last night, they charged me a $55 room damage fee, that NO ONE at the front desk or accounting office can explain to me. They promised to call me after I checked out (when I noticed that fishy charge) after they followed up with housekeeping, who apparently reported the "damage," that I don't recall seeing in the newly renovated room I stayed in.
In other words, I did not cause any kind of damage in the room, and it really feels like they just want to take more money from me. I have called three times so far, each time was told they would follow up with so and so and call me back. I have waited three days, still no call back. I am very unhappy with how my stay ended, considering how expensive it is to stay at this hotel. Would not recommend.
Stay here only if you like giving your money to an establishment that exploits animals! There are so many other wonderful places to stay in and around Miami and this one just doesn t come close in terms of comfort, style, and integrity. What on earth is a hotel doing using elephants for entertainment and then having the audacity to call that luxurious? It s almost 2019 Biltmore, time to get some better morals and figure out a way to make money without hurting innocent creatures who are NOT here for your entertainment!
I absolutely love the Biltmore. The architecture is incredibly attractive and the history behind it dating back to the 1920's. A fine classic Mediterranean style with hand painted murals, marble columns, travertine floors, beautiful gardens and open spaces. To me, it is a must-see in Miami. A great place for some brunch. I had some lunch at the Fontana, a cute open courtyard, where I had one of the best sangria's I've ever had! Well, 3 to be exact - I almost had to be carried out. The food was delicious. I had the pasta carbonara, my boyfriend had the steak, and my mom had the eggs benedict. We went in a large group of 26 for a family event so I tried almost everything in the menu and I have no complaints. The food and service were superior, and as you know, the drinks were too. I'm not sure how much the tab was, but I would guesstimate $17- $35 a plate and maybe $15 a drink. Definitely worth it for a special event, I will never think twice about it. Go ahead and splurge a little, check out the beautiful and historic Biltmore, you will NOT be disappointed.
Rooms are basic but clean. The bed is comfortable and the employees are helpful and friendly. Food on property is good but very expensive. There are affordable eateries within a short drive. Free WiFi and self parking. Valet is available for a fee. No coffee machine, fridge or microwave in the room but there is a wet bar.
Scenic and historic hotel in the heart of the most beautiful neighborhood in miami. Details abound in the decor. Good for an overnight stay, or a picturesque evening
Beautiful hotel and conference center. I come here for meetings about once a quarter. I look forward to it each time. Professional staff, excellent food, clean, pristine bathrooms. Excelllent for visitors to come here just to see the architecture.
Old and noisy rooms all day, noisy pipes, poor logistics of elevators and, last but not least, unrecognized charges to the rooms. They do not deserve any star.
Beautiful place with great efforts to provide you with high quality service. However, our room was not clean and even their second time trying didn't remove the hairs and other evidence of previous guests.
The grounds are impressive but the rooms leave much to be desired. I will not be a repeat customer. The air is stale and smells moldy like the filters haven't been changed in years, the toilet doesn't flush properly, you have to bend 2 feet to access the water in the bathroom sink, the tub gets clogged and fills completely with water and the pillows smell like and old guy. Awful experience for such a prestigious place.
I'm kind of reluctant to write this review because I'm struggling to find positive things to say. I had looked forward to staying here for years and years, yet this was the biggest hotel disappointment I've ever experienced.
From issues with the rooms not being what we paid for, to malfunctioning elevators, to music BEYOND loud coming from the function room (I'm not THAT old, but it was enough to wake the dead), to waiting for ages for the car to be brought up since there's no room for traffic to maneuver (and so there's a major build up of cars when people are checking in and out), to the repair man who 1. took about four phone calls until he even showed up, and 2. opened the hotel room door when leaving with the dirty gloves he fixed the toilet with. I could go on and on. It was a disaster that I wish never happened.
To be positive ... the grounds are lovely, and having breakfast by the pool was beautiful. Other than that ... I got nothing. I'm sorry. But if I'm being honest, there's no way I could suggest anyone stay here. There are so many good hotels around the greater Miami area, that this old place is not worth it in my opinion.
Hotel smelled musty and had to wash my clothes when I arrived home to get the smell out. In need of major upgrade and renovations for sure. Would never go back until this was done
It's a place where past and present are joined together. We went there to see the fireworks this 4th of July. Like always, it doesn't disappoint. A well preserved jewel in Coral Gables. Wonderful and magnificent hotel that is part of our traditions.
This was our second time staying at the Biltmore and it was just as good as we remembered it. The service was excellent and everyone was very nice. We tried three of the multiple restaurants they have on property and they were all very good. The pool was very nice and one of the main attractions of the hotel. We will definitely be coming back in the future.
Late dinner at the 19th Hole. Food and service we're great, though they seemed ready to roll up the carpets a little early. Would definitely go back again, but call ahead if planning to visit after 9pm.
Probably my favorite hotel in Florida! In the world of modern high rises of South Beach this is an old world charming grand hotel. Nothing beats this place in my opinion. The grand lobby .. the bird cages in lobby with the finches I can watch for hours. The views of the gold course .. stunning. Rooms are very nice. I have stayed in junior suit and grand tower suite. Junior suit is plenty of room .. only nice thing about grand tower is seperate living room and bedroom very seperate .. down a hall so my husband could work on computer and I could sleep. Otherwise Junior suite was fine. Pool is incredible. Food at pool and in hotels is very very good. My favorite thing is the old grand hotel look and feel. Service and valet is amazing!!
Beautiful hotel, beautiful rooms for events of any type, the pool area is fantastic but you are going to enjoy to be there. The Sunday brunch is awesome, a little bit pricier but you enjoy foods that you cannot find in a regular brunch. Very recommended
