First time I've been here. We had a party of 8. It took 1 1/2 hours to get a seat. But it was worth it the food was amazing. The server was amazing. The Jambalaya was amazing haven't had any better other then from New Orleans it was spot on.
The parking lot was packed, which is a good sign the food is at the very least decent. I ordered the blackened catfish, grilled asparagus and saffron rice. I wasn't disappointed! The staff was warm and welcoming. Looking forward to visiting again!
Outdoor seating right on historic waterfront. Thanks to state of Delaware hazardous site cleanup fund for all the environmental remediation work that ensure it was safe and made the whole business possible. Food was fine.
The food was great! The oysters were delicious and they did a great job of letting us know which were which. We ordered the crab bruschetta (yum!), as well at the tortellini and catfish.
There are two menus, that were a tad confusing. But other than that, great experience!
I came to Delaware to get some crab cakes and Big Fish Grill did not disappoint me (also Delaware was just one of two states I hadn t visited so of course I m here). The crab cakes are so good, and that tarter sauce was sauce perfection. The Peruvian rice with shrimp was also loaded with flavor and the rice was cooked just right. But the creamed spinach was a little disappointing (more spinach less cream maybe). I m going to make it at home just to put my money where my mouth is. All in all I d eat here anytime and I d be glad I did.
This restaurant is amazing! Visited after a friend recommended. The wait was 50min, which wasn t an issue because I was told my wait will be between an hour & an hr & 1/2. I already knew what I wanted by the time I was seated. Food came pretty quick, within 10 min. I had the bourbon shrimp with saffron rice and asparagus. The carrot cake is delicious and so is the cinnamon ice cream. How can I forget the complimentary tuna dip with crackers?? I highly recommend & will be returning soon.
Loved it, always good food. A little expensive. You get what you pay for. Outside seating with heaters available made me feel very comfortable. Distancing didn't seem to be a problem. Masks were worn by all the staff. Had a great time for my sons birthday. Felt good to be out and not feel uncomfortable around people for a change. Thank you Big Fish Your doing a wonderful job!
Everything I ate was good! I planned a going-away for a coworker. She and everyone involved had a great time. The first round was on my everyone seem to loosing up and talk. Because of the food, safety of the waitresses, and the atmosphere we will be back. This restaurant is nice. So you will get what you pay for. In other words, it's not cheap; however, it was worth it.
Everything was amazingly delicious and most importantly SUPER fresh! We loved everything. And on top of that amazing customer service.
Have been here a couple of times. Right on the river front. Delicious sea food, big dish. You will have to wait for a seat even most restaurants are empty for dining in.
