Delicious Sunday lunch at this lovely pub . I had the pork roast with an extra Yorkshire pudding and it was sensational. The carrot and swede mash was surprisingly delicious . My husband had pork cheeks to start that were incredible .
Bar staff need education on how to properly pour draught beers

Ok, just. Kitchen not big enough for the numbers of diners. Main course not served until we'd been in there 1hr20mins. They were however quick to bring you more wine while you waited.

Came here for the car show in August. Really great turn out and cheap beer and food. Shame about the rain. The restaurant was full and all the food looked good. Recommend if you are in the area.

Only a brief visit but would love to stay longer in the future but the entire place seems absolutely delightful.

Been to this wonderful restaurent several times and have never been disappointed with the food or the service which is exceptional. Lovely setting ate outside this sunday as weather was brilliant. Desserts to die for. Make sure you arrive hungry as the portions are generous. Highly recommened. Cant wait to visit again.
Restaurant of the better type, unfortunately the kitchen has deteriorated considerably. The starter was quelconque, the main dish best, but some strange combination of bream with ratatouille.

The restaurant itself is beautiful, couldn't fault it.
The food was fantastic, possibly a little more complicated than it needed to be when it came to the starter. And half of my pigeon was over cooked which was a real shame.
I was slightly disappointed to find a dirty glass on my table, and although the waiting staff were pleasant enough, I didn't feel as welcomed as I have in other restaurants.
That's me just being picky though as it was an expensive meal.

Party of nine for Sunday lunch on the19th March, very overcrowded, staff had difficulty getting through to other tables where we sat.Expensive average food.
Then top it all we were over charged for three extra main meals which took a good 20 mins to resolve. We will not be returning.
Another perfect couple of days spent with Sean and his staff. In Sean you could not find a more amenable and knowledgeable host whose enthusiasm and friendliness quite obviously rubs off on all his staff. Food and drink is excellent with little known wines becoming firm favourites. Scenery from the garden is stunning. Rooms are clean and beautifully decorated with perfect little touches from locally sourced companies. The only problem is finding a reason to come back again sooner rather than later .

The staff are very helpful and the food is fantastic. Highly recommend, especially if you're a meat lover! The cuts of beef are succulent and the presentation is superb. Highly recommend as is a great pub too.
Love this place, the beer garden is amazing with overspill into the field at the back, the food is incredible and the atmosphere is always vibrant. We came here last to listen to the live music on the bank holiday weekend and watched the sun go down in the garden at the same time - simply wonderful. We'll continue to be regulars

Not a cheap place to stay but minutes away from Stratford on Avon. It's a quiet place to stay, owned by the local land owners...

This place is local to us. Lovely ambiance. Nice garden out the back in summer. As a rule the food is good but it lacks consistency both in terms of quality of food and customer service.
