It seems Diesel Tech Industries somehow has managed to get all the reviews deleted. However, Because they screwed me over so bad I will continue to make negative reviews as they are deleted.
I will simplify this for everyone. I had a 7.3L F-350 that was in need of a rebuild. Long story short. They had my truck for over 6 months ..... Let me just add, That my truck was required of me for work. As they begin the engine swap process, More things kept coming up Injectors, turbos. Almost anything you can think of. So I will start with the turbo, They "replaced" my turbo under warranty, No more than 3 days later. The turbo blew, And Suddenly I was on the hook for a new turbo. Truth came out, they just took a turbo off an old engine to "Help me out". You ask, "How can they have his truck for 6 months, but yet his turbo blew after the replaced it"....Well, The answer to that is... I got my truck back over 4 different times saying it was "Done". Each time It had left the shop, (smoking blue)...Of which they said was "Normal for a rebuilt engine"..... I couldnt get more than 400kms out of it before the engine would start spewing oil all over the place. Not to mention, The engine couldn't even pull a light tower up the slightest incline. For those of you who dont know what a light tower is.... Its light enough for 3 guys to move around. Soo, in the end. I ended up paying them over 25,000$ (if anyone is interested I have the receipts still for all the work) .. I paid a hefty price for a truck that took over 6 months to "repair" and the truck couldnt even keep its speed going up a a slight hill...even with nothing being towed.
My suggestion to all of you, Save yourself the grief, These people are not trust worthy what soever. They are the type of place that will tell you something needs to be replaced when it really doesnt. I am so strongly set on sharing my horrific night mare I had with this place. I am willing to speak with anyone who has any questions about this. I am not exaggerating. This is what happened.
Oh yeah, Let me just say one more thing, Each time I got it back from the shop I was required to drive up north right away for work, Each time the truck broke down between 150-400kms out of Edmonton, I had to pay the tow bills... FOUR TIMES!!!!!
Now, The level of professionalism at that shop is so low, A very unprofessional response to this awful review will probably come from DTI. I wouldnt expect any less.
