Azola and Rebecca and their team have excellent service. The tea and cake was delicious. Bookings for Under Milk Wood have gone very well and we may well be sold out for Friday's performance.

The place is lovely. The whole eating experience misses the mark completely. The fact that a sumptuous home converted into a restaurant etc serves burgers creates cognitive dissonance in ways i cannot explain. The fish and chips shack a few meters away serves this kinda food and in the right setting. This setting begs for sumptuous decadent food. Food that inspires, that provides a gasp of wonder, food that is reminiscent of lavish and creative fare. Big disappointment. A new chef has been appointed. Lets hope and pray that she can transform below par mediocrity to wonderment.

Undoubtably one of the most beautiful venues in Cape Town and Muizenberg. From the beautiful scenic views right down to the friendly staff members - this venue will not disappoint. It has all the elements to create a truly memorable occasion when visiting.

Family had a most wonderful Saturday lunch - the menu and food was exceptional! A pity they had run out ofour wine of cjoice for a second bottle. Puddings too were wonderful and barista made us lovely coffee. And service was outstanding, staff really nice. Needless to say the venue is incredibly beautiful, and the pianist definitely enhanced a memorable celebration. Many thanks to all.

Always love breakfasting here! Menu quite varied with lots of enticing options. Today's visit made me want to go back to try the choices my friends made! Beautiful surroundings help enhance the meal too!

A piece of authentic Venice in Muizenberg. It is an experience to sit on the lawn having coffee and the best scones with jam and cream overlooking False Bay! A view that will etch itself on your brain and you will always return for more.

Wonderful venue! Beautiful decor. Lovely sea views. Nice food. I got married there in April 2018 and the staff & venue were amazing. Highly recommend this as a venue for a special occassion celebration ( the events planners Tania & Rebecca are great)

Charming and sophisticated. What a lovely place for tea on a Sunday. There is a elaborately furnished banquet hall as well that can be booked out for events (including High Tea). The entire venue is decorated in Victorian era fashion, with an impressive collection of antique oil paintings on the wall. It's very reminiscent of the Mount Nelson Hotel. The waitresses are very friendly and I can definitely recommend the scones. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Excellent service. Reception went out of it's way to make my booking easy. We went for High tea. It was amazing. Value for money and a private room with a view to kill of the muizenberg sea front. Service excellent. Come in at the right times and oh so nice to carry a conversation. Next time for sure. Parking was my only issue. Saturday day before Argus cycle and main road was packed

Very interesting to view at long last. They currently have an Art exhibition upstairs, worth a visit. The restaurant is lovely and there are two nice outside eating areas. Seems very popular.

Fun funky place for a weekend lunch. When booking do ask for a table with a view. And, there is a pianist who plays on the weekends - nice addition ! Service was very good, food was tasty. Cucina salad was great, esp the fresh edamame. My husband had the burger (2nd hand review alert !) and said it was only MEH. Very average, but we are spoilt for choice of great burgers in Cape Town. Afterwards you can have a stroll upstairs in the print gallery.

Very disappointed with our lunch, menu different from online, staff badly trained and unable to answer questions about the food. Grilled fish on a plate no garnish, lemon or tartar sauce offered. After a long waIt for the food it was different to what was requested. Will not go back.

High tea bitterly disappointing and over priced under new management. Staff fumbling from crises to crises. What was supposed to be a treat turned into a nightmare. Happy to add that I was offered a full refund a week later.

Fun to sit at, we got the virtually private front room with a window directly over looking over the sea which was lovely. Service and food were also great, the menu is varied and interesting and has vegan options.

always a cut above because of the regal feel to the restaurant with it's stately furniture and decor. always a good food experience and well presented with attention to detail. I enjoy the feeling of being pampered.
