With a bit of prejudice I entered the Amsterdam Dungeon, but immediately at the entrance I saw that that would not hold true, because everything is immediately in the atmosphere and style and that's how you "get in". Even on the way to the toilets you see a sink with a loose arm in it and suddenly there are shrieks above your head. You have to wait in a cell and you will be picked up by a guide, after which the whole begins. I will not reveal anything about what you experience on the way, but I take my hat off for the actors! Where at other similar attractions you can sometimes clearly see that it is the umpteenth performance of that day, here the actors played their role excellently and also played great fun on the audience.
In short; I was very positively surprised and I can recommend this to everyone with nerves of steel!

Perfectly for young folks or people which don't have a high tolerance in scary stuff. For me it wasn't really scary, but the social distancing and the actors were quite good. Especially the crazy lady in the end played very well. Very friendly staff as well.

The performance skills of the staff burst out! ! ! A very good experience. Although I was scared, I got involved! I am so timid to play it again! Experienced it! I am very happy that I bought a ticket and went in! I really like the acting of the staff! Very dedicated!

A little expensive if you pay the full blow but with a little discount it is definitely worth the experience, the scare actors do their best to take you and if there is a fearful hare in the group it will be fun

Five stars for the ambience, the actors and their performance. A fun experience you should definitely consider. The story is mainly about the time when VOC was enslaving sailors for their ships - very interesting. Only downside is the ripoff with the photos. You re not allowed to take pictures by yourself but they sell them to you for a ridiculous price (which you don t know before you select your photos on the touchscreen).

I just went because two of my friends wanted to go, and I am really not a fan of jumpscares or something like that, but I really liked it. Not too scary but actually really funny at some parts.

Excellent show, legendary moments in an environment, that was set up with much love for details. Had a few heart attacks. The actors do love their job and speak clear and perfect English.
Don't miss this adventure!!!!

All praise for definitely the best museum in the city where you go through a house of horror and horror and at the same time you are there with actors and sometimes you have a role to play. Perfect!

Amsterdam dungeon was a nice experience. If you enjoy Rocky Horror Picture Show, then this is just the thing. Those who expect dystopian tension a la Walking Dead are more likely to be disappointed.

Exciting tour of some parts of Amsterdam's history (burning of the witches ...). Takes about 90 minutes. Not boring and for all ages. Fun and history combined. Anyone who feels uncomfortable in dark, narrow spaces could briefly be afraid.

Really very cool, nice actors / actresses, not all equally well understood but no problem. We did the Dutch tour, the English seems to be a bit cooler, my daughter told me who is one of the actresses. Recommended!

It was an unexpected surprise. Virtually are various interactive shows performed during a macabre path, but fun.
It's fine for kids, but it is important to chew at least a little English, because the shows are in fact interactive.

It was a lot of fun and really a great tour. The price is a bit expensive but in the end there was even something to drink for free. Relatively similar to the London Dungeons but definitely worth the experience.

If there is absolutely nothing to do in Amsterdam then you can go, but you shouldn t go specifically. The children were not interested and not clear, it was not worth going. Adults only if they understand English.

Brilliant experience at the Amsterdam dungeons, the staff are all brilliant and very convincing in their roles.
Be prepared to be used as a volunteer and participate in the show as it is highly interactive.
Not to be missed on a visit to the city, pre-book tickets online for a big saving.

The groups were a little big and in some rooms we were a little tight. Otherwise it was an interesting experience. It is not for people who do not like terror, as they are very dark environments and they scare us.

Absolutely worth seeing while in Amsterdam. The guides do a great job interacting with the crowd and getting people involved in the experience. I don't want to ruin anything, but there's some really good scares and rooms that get the heart racing. Each one telling a different bit of history in the city's darker days.
