Really fun experiance. Witty and scary stuff, lots of fun and you get some new info about he past of the city. Just get there and get in!

Was my first dungeon, found it very interesting and really fun. At first I didn't think that I would be scared, but then I was taught better.

Definitely recommend it, a great experience.

Was an alright experience wouldnt recommended it if you don't have children. But overall good thing to do while in Amsterdam

Can you do it but you should also have medium English skills.

Good actors, nice experience, a nice place to go with children. Only English is spoken at the attraction.

Super fun, funny and scary. 100% would recommend going and doing it. They have crowd participation which was also good/funny and for the adults a cold beer for free at the end.

Fun evening activity that isn't too scary for kids and entertaining for anyone keen on history.

Little later learned how nice it actually is! Otherwise I would have visited much earlier!
Is very fun and adventurous. An exciting mix of humor + sarcasm + fear + fright that makes you feel good despite your conscience nice as a date or with your family! (Even the most frightened is taken into account by giving them a special place)

Nice scary with a historical background. Occasionally in tight spaces. Lots of drama. Nevertheless, a fairly expensive attraction. Look for discount coupons, then it remains financially fun.

There was a long wait to get the tour started die to technical difficulties but once we were in, it was really interesting. The actor's were good and knowledgeable.
There were a couple of stoned guy's on the same tour, I couldn't decide if they added to the experience or spoilt it for some people, either way it was funny to watch.

Really different experience. Not a museum, not a pub, not a club etc. Visual, physical, sound effects. I would not bring young children here (like until 10 ish).

Went to the Amsterdam Dungeon yesterday and didn't find it that good. Unfortunately, very short (approx. 30 minutes) and not particularly scary. It was good that attention was paid to distance and hygiene, but the tour itself was disappointing.

Beautiful and fun something different than usual. Fantastic and good actors. The tour is in English only.

We were lucky enough to have a group of girls who screamed at everything which made it more fun but could be a few more jumpy, scary things. Good fun and reasonably priced.

It was not even a bit scared rather funny. There were lot of talking by the actors but no real scare moment. It was very disappointing.

The Amsterdam Dungeon offers a great escape from reality, by taking you on a spooky tour through Amsterdam's history. Professional actors take you through a labyrinthinine collection of well-made sets where they act out historical horrors. The attention to detail in the settings, acting skills of the staff and the way you are involved in the acts bring the story alive. Well recommended if you like scares & horror.

Entertaining, informative, scary? In all regards average at best. It may be suited for younger audiences, but I left wanting. The jokes were uninspired, effects lackluster. I do believe the acting team puts a lot of passion into their work, but ultimately by being forced to please the lowest common denominator, the end result seems overpriced.

If you're looking to be frightened that's not the place, if you want to laugh and have some family fun I would recommend

The setting is brutal but the show is a little slow at times and in the end it ends up being a bit long. But it's cool. Not recommended for those who do not know English or Dutch because they will not understand it well and they also get people out of the public to speak. Tickets can be cheaper online but you will still have to queue at the door.

For big and small everything is definitely worth a visit, the employees are completely in their role and you are drawn into a world and forget the outside world. Top!

Was quite good, actors did very well. Our 3 young kids (2,3 and 6 yo) survived although some bits a little scarry. Good length of time so good value for money

Interesting and fun way to learn about the history of Amsterdam

In comparison to the London Dungeon rather lame, but ok, value for money is not true. Once seen, ok, but certainly not a second time.

I went with 2 friends and we all loved it. Would definitely recommend!

The Amsterdam Dungeon was a very nice experience, where you learn about the dark history of Amsterdam.
I have been to The Hamburg Dungeon sometimes, and there were major similarities between the two. Some parts were identical, which makes it a little less interesting.
Some parts of the Dungeon were less fun, because you enter groups (smaller or larger), and sometimes you have to wait until everyone in the group is in the room. Smaller groups or just walking through would make it a bit narrower, then you can see and hear it better. At Madame Tussauds I had gone through the scary part alone before closing time, I pooped 100% in my pants, and the actors had a really good time. I went home with an actress and she was very happy with my reactions. A bit towards home ... hi, hi

It was really fun! And scary (a little bit :)) because of many unexpected sounds and actions. Actors are really talented!

Great actors! Could have been way more scary. A bit pricey but everything here is pricey. It was better than the wax museum down the street that we didnt go to. At least I hope so!

Great atmosphere from the very entrance. The actors do not act as if they were there as a punishment, but give all their heart to reproduce their character at the highest level. Sacred history, decor and acting. I would highly recommend!!!

Did the English tour! Everything was easy to understand, I liked it very much!

It was fun. But the waiting time is huge of big crowd. You get free beer at the end though.

So much funnnn! We brought a 7 year old kid and he had so much fun. We also brought a 13 year old and she had so much fun... This is a place for adults and children of all ages!

Heavy commercial attraction. Entrance fees are decent - and if you can't get in at a discount - they're not really worth it. However nicely formatted and elaborate sets and (although sometimes screaming) actors.
