Very nice and educational, a bit scary for some people, definitely recommended

Good experience, especially if you like scary stuff. It's not as good as London or New York, but is was good. The actors are nice the decor of awesome and the effect was decent (they could do better I guess).
The online purchase was a catastrophe: they offer a 5 EUR discount which is sweet, but although the website supports English the purchase process does NOT, onlt Dutch. To me, ourdays, it's kind of absourd.
Overall nice place for 19 EUR (via website)

Definitely worth doing once when you are in Amsterdam. The actors were very good, the effects too ... just a pity that the photos were so poor quality.

Theatre experience. Gives the feeling of being inside a horror movie. Very good performance, myself been there thrice and recommend it to all my friends.

Very interesting. Unfortunately only in Dutch and English. Waiting times and entrance fees were okay. It is recommended to take a combi-ticket, with which you can also get in at a reduced price, e.g. at Madame Tussauds

The 3rd dungeon that I was allowed to visit next to Hamburg and Berlin.
As usual, the atmosphere is fantastic and the roles are well embodied.
However, I found it very abbreviated to the others and 90% the same.

But a must as a fan!

A great activity, if you are in Amsterdam and would like to learn something.
The actors were very professional and did not let themselves off the line even though they played English. You could follow very well and the actually scary scenery was somewhat resolved by some scenes.

The pictures, which one could make and the souvenir shop were a bit expensive.

Cool and unique experience. It combines both scary and funny stuff together. I thought it would be like a museum but it was more like a show. You dive into the ~1500 years and walk from room to room with an actor acting like a person from that era, making you feel like you are also there. The people are grouped into ~10-15 people and you go together. The actors ask from people in the group to participate in many scary and funny acts.

Nice actors and shows. Too bad about the quality of the photos.

Wow! This was absolutely fantastic, had so much fun, laughed lots & genuinely scared in parts. Fear really is a funny thing! I would highly recommend coming here if you're visiting Amsterdam.

Overly sexual and crude humour, not scary whatsoever. If you are looking to have a good time you are better of going to the red light district.

Great experience and story telling, worth the money

Much explanation and lessons of history but little terror, and although it is not bad, the truth is that if you do not understand English spoken well, you will not understand almost anything. The setting is very successful and the actors do their part well. Some funny fright.

Been here many time. The less people in your group the more likely you get pick to play along. That makes it even more fun then it's all ready is!

Perfect, however visit only in English, so have a good minimum level

This is a fun experience to go to. It's a mix between a history lesson and a haunted house. Very nice

Lovely and enthusiastic personel, but overall impression is luke warm. I expected a bit more historical approach and a bit scarier experience. Story is inconsistent (a mix of all gruesome stuff across middle ages). However we had a few good laughs and some fun.

Our experience was ruined at the end of the tour, as we were choosing our photos to purchase one of our party was turning on her phone, the employee who was serving us accused her of taking a photo of the photos, EVEN THOUGH WE WERE BUYING ALL OF THEM!!!! When this fact was pointed out to him with showing him that the phone was still turning on, he didn't even apologise, extremely rude where I come from (and where anyone comes from really)
It shouldn't be left to his colleague to try and diffuse the situation, a simple apology goes a long way, maybe some training in customer service is needed? Or a 15 week course in manners? Might be enough

After some super sliver haze and a rickshaw ride down I wasn t expecting this

You have to go if your here and when I went the first time there was a roller coaster in the basement levels. Crazy place to go and by far the best

The acting is good, and the effects, the vibe, the atmosphere. Impossible not to hang a moment. I found it to be a good attraction. I also recommend doing the one in London and Berlin. I did them and it's the same story but directed by characters with different personalities. It's fun to compare it with other countries. To do in the language of the country; that adds a little more;) But my favorite room was in Amsterdam :)

Joa it is well done but I had imagined something else. You go in groups of 20 people and have 4-5 rooms where then something is shown. Should you have done it before.

The Horror Museum ... is based on live performances by actors and presents horror in a lovable way. I recommend visiting it

Nice and creepy. As one of the first groups left, no waiting time and nice and creepy.

I can only recommend. Did not have to wait long. The show was varied and great. Unfortunately, as with many attractions, I find the price of the pictures far too high, therefore only 4 stars.

A show of terror in the center of Amsterdam, great for doing something different than usual

I loved it very good. We can fit between the scare and the laugh. Very well decorated about the medieval age

One of the biggest attractions in Amsterdam, go with the teenagers and have lots of fun

I wouldve gave it 5 stars if it werent for price. The expierence was very nice and informative. The actors are doing a great job, chapeu. However, i personally believe the price for this kind of attracting shouldnt be more than 15 euros. I mean they are already packed and got attention.
