Great evening with friends watching Beach Boys tribute band. Highly recommend !

Lovely Art Deco theatre just no air con so a bit hot in this weather.

Always a great theatre to visit, some interesting changes as the theatre entrance has moved and a new bar area is developed. Good feel as always and good value prices for refreshments and theatre tickets.

Cramped seats in the theatre, barely any seats in the bar area a very average experience at best.

Great theatre. And such good value . Run by volunteers.

It was ok. Very busy. Toilets at the start where fine but at the end of the show they where disgusting. Managment you need more staff. The staff who where on where great, friendly and helpful.

Great little theatre, excellent performances from ametuer performers who always give their all.

City of Culture has one of its gems tucked behind an hotel. The Albany Theatre is a great venue for shows, events, corporate presentations et al. The new cafe is superb. Well worth a visit

A Folk Music session took place in the theatre annexe, with invited local musicians. This was a very good performance with about twenty excellent musicians but only a similar number of audience. Well, it was a Sunday afternoon. The theatre, running with volunteer staff, was a superb venue for this entertainment; clean, welcoming, well staffed, spacious and close to the centre of Coventry. A discrete bar was open for the whole time of the performance. I would recommend the Albany for any organisers looking for a good place to promote a show.

Nice place . Needs a bit of a refurbishment though and staff need to actively boot out audience who can't keep quiet.

Great venue for all groups of people who need a stage

Wonderful place. Because of the small size, it felt a very intimate - almost private - performance. I'm now looking for a reason to go back. 8)

Not as yet used the theatre,only have been to the box office.so far so good . Box office staff friendly and helpful. Access in Albany road large sloping wheelchair ramp to box office and foyer Will amend my view after my first night at a show

Just one complaint sort out the car parking machines because it's absolutely ridiculous that people have to queue for such a long period of time to get out of the car park

Needs a refub very dated inside. Like being back at school

Went to watch beauty and the beast panto so rubbish what a wast of money just watch the walls it would be more entertaining than that panto.

Wonderful show considering they were all local non professional actors. The theatre is really coming on with its developments too.

Seen several shows here, but friends booked. I've been trying to book a show for the last few weeks, and haven't been able to online or by calling the box office. Decided not to book in the end after too must hassle.

This theatre took me back in time. Very well preserved original period features. I attended a comedy club there and it was a great venue.

Excellent play, very helpful staff, pleasant and interesting old building. Disabled parking (need to pay) right outside.

School end of year performance it was a great night. Staff there were very helpful and nothi g was too much trouble. The venue lends itself well to this occasion. Also as someone in the auditorium it's a great night out for a show I have seen many.

A lovely theatre with a good spread of productions. I have had numerous problems with ticketing, the last one a week ago. To be sure use phone booking in mornings.

A small theatre in a historic building which comprises of offices and a hotel. Seats are quite uncomfortable for long periods of sitting but staff are friendly and lots of volunteers to help you find your seat.

Love this place. Beautiful theatre, friendly staff and overall a lovely experience.

Could do with a better layout when performing in the studio area. The interruption from the main theatre meant the interval was too long.

Theatre was good, but I think the foyer area could do with a refurbish. Doesn't look very inviting. Looks like a canteen.

A comfortable auditorium with a warm & friendly atmosphere.

Small but Cosby needs bigger bar. Dance show was brilliant lighting and sound b very good

Was here with my 6 year old for The Snow Queen! Loving it. I just love the fact that there is a post-show photograph. She absolutely loves it! Well done The Albany Theatre and the Snow Queen team!

It's quite old and the inside is smaller than I expected bit the staff are lovely

This venue had to have the most friendly welcome I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. The volunteers that work here are an absolute credit and I will definitely be coming back again and telling anyone who will listen how great this theatre is.

First visit. Will definatly be back. Saw Jersey Beats fabulous. Helpful and friendly staff.

I went with my family to see the play Peter Pan. Parking isn't expensive but you must know your registration number of your vehicle and have the exact change as it doesn't give change or take card payment.

The staff at the theatre are friendly and helpful. My children really enjoyed the show and we found it was interactive at certain times, which they really liked.

It was a small production play and very simple but thorough, as lots of dialogue, so they had practiced the lines well.

Albany Theatre very nice place and the people there so very friendly nice place to be.

Loved watching this today! Interactive with the audience and much more personable than bigger theatres. And getting to meet the cast at the end of the performance was a lovely touch, thank you very much!

Tried to book tickets on line however the website wouldn't allow me to add to basket. Called the helpline and followed instruction left contact details no one returned my call. Very poor customer experience.
Had to give it one star to post review.

Difficult for taxi to find but great venue when you get there

Went for a comedy gig. The queue was very long, slightly disorganized staff. Nice interior.

A fine old building located in 10 minutes walking from the city centre (main shopping mall)

Great place easy to get to as good as the Belgrade Theatre .
