Honestly, I was expecting so much more from such an esteemed name in town.

Let's start with drinks, the sangria was watered down and quite bland. The chunks of fruit were bitter and under ripped. Both worth $30 a pitcher.

With the food in glad we started with only two plates to start out with. We got the nightly special which was like a Spanish version of Poutine but with chips, pork belly, and a poached egg. The chips were soggy, the pork way over cooked, and the poached egg was cooked until the yolk was firm--counter intuitive to the idea of cracking an egg and mixing everything together. Also, lacked flavor and salt. The shrill dish was overlooked to the point that one of the shrimps was inedible and like shoe leather.

When we decided to leave because the food wasn't meeting our expectations, we revived sass from our waitress.

Needless to say, it's Denver there are plenty of better places in town. And most have better prices.

My wife and I often come here when we have a free night away from the kids. The tapas selection is great, and we also enjoy tasting our way around their great cocktail menu as well. Quiet and private atmosphere at the round booth tables.

Watermelon Sangria was cocktail of the day. Simply refreshing and delicious! As always my favorite Datiles were on point. Tasted so good. We only went for happy hour but service was excellent and the ambiance there is so wonderful. Beautiful lamps and the booths are elegant!

This place is great! I haven't been here in over a year. When I talked to the server I found out the restaurant was under new ownership (I was happy about that!) My other 3 quests and ordered sangria and various mounds of tapas. Every single sip, every bite was spectacular. I'm not well versed on the tapas lingo, I just order what sounds good. You have to try this place for a truly authentic authentic tapas experience. This place knows how to deliver that!

I am from OC California visited my brothers in Denver on a "not happy occasion" and he took me to 9th Door Capital Hill. We asked the waiter for wine and he recommended a great pick. We ordered foods and they all were excellence. The price was good but since my brother is a frequent customer, the owner said it's on the house. We were touched, especially during Covid-19 when they are not making any money. Good food and good people, I would give this five star even if I have to pay. These are good people who are cooking great dishes and gave great service. Please give them your business. I am for sure I will come back here whenever I am in Denver, just for the food, people, and service.

We had an AWESOME time at 9th Door! The service was impeccable, the staff friendly and fun and the sangria rocked my world. Of course, we went for the tapas and we're certainly not disappointment. Highly recommend!

Food was excellent and the service was amazing! We were there last night for NYE and sat at the bar, our server Greg was incredibly knowledgeable regarding the menu which was helpful considering it was our first time there. Can t wait to go back!

Don't come here if you're looking for a big, grandiose meal. This is a higher-end place for specialty drinks, wine, and small to medium sized plates of Spanish (not Mexican) food. The music is vocal-free electronica, my favourite kind. They have 2 unisex restrooms which can be locked once you're inside for privacy. The food is amazing, and a must-try. The drinks are unbelievable. The atmosphere is cozy. The decor and theme is very nice. This is hands-down a top notch place to go. Be prepared to spend around $50 per person. It's worth it, in my opinion. Parking may be a challenge.

We absolutely LOVE this place!!

We absolutely LOVE this place!!

It's never been overly packed, drinks are top notch, and the food.... oh my god. No better place to get tapas in Denver. Hands down. There's something for everyone, and all of it is perfect.

Maaaaan! This place is good! I had never been there before. I was invited by friends and family. They wanted to try it since the place was under new ownership. I think we ordered everything on the menu....the food just kept coming. EVERY SINGLE THING was delicious. I can't pronounce most of the names but I can say my belly is happy. Drinks were amazing (try the Caipirinha) and tasty. Service was so good and it was fast. John our server was so good to us. We had 14 people at the table and it went flawlessly. I have been in the restaurant business for decades so an experience like this is appreciated! The new owner Brian came out and introduced himself and always made sure we were ok. Try this place! I did and I will be back
