Wonderful facility and the Staff were all friendly and helpful to all inquiries. Thank You.
The new improvements they added recently are awesome. Wish this place had more funding to be huge! Will always love to go back.
It's like a mini Moody Gardens now! Love it even more than before!
Well worth visiting, once. Got to hand feed sting rays! Very nice facility, good live displays. Plan on 4-5 hours to see it all and not feel rushed.
Back after about 10 Year's, teens loved the fact that did not remembered anything
From their first visit.
Anyways they where excited to pet the rays sharks and jellies.
143 thank you Lord
I go here every once in a while when I'm in Corpus Christi. Love it. Love the new exhibits
My aquarium experience is limited but I imagine this place has to be ranked with the nicest and best experiences one could have. A must see stop if you're ever considering going!
Very small not worth the money unless you want to stay the day as a beach day
It was a great place to see a variety of aqutic and land animals. I would even like to work there. If they would have me, but I'm sure anybody would.
Went here with the grandkids. The new addition was fantastic. The sloth was great. The kids were laughing and laughing.
It needs more for special needs kids and know discount for kids like my granddaughter and only two dollars 60 and older that's sad
Good place. No otters, made me sad. The dolphin show was neat.
Took my family on St Patrick's Day on a Sunday. We had a great time got too see the dolphins perform some high jumps. Also had a blast at the flight show.
I've been to the aquarium several times and it is so entertaining and fun. Will keep going back. Love it...
I think it's a little overpriced, but fun overall. Feeding the sting rays out of your hand and the dolphin show are both musts!!
I loved remodeling they did on the place. Face mask are a must but I would visit again.
The Texas State Aquarium is amazing and has so many activities you can do. Recently, I brought my siblings here and they LOVED it. You can touch and feed the stingrays, see dolphin and bird shows, see many different animals, and much more! This is a great place to go if you have children.
Awesome aquariums, friendly staff, clean facilities. Priced a little high.
Lots of things to do and a wonderful learning environment. We all loved it, from my husband and I down to my 2.5 year old and my 19 year old. Great family fun!
My kids love this place. They have a great splash pad that is open in the summer. If you live in corpus and will go more than twice, just buy the season pass.
Not a lot for adults after the first time. But again, the kids love seeing the animals.
Also, try to stay for one of the dolphin shows. It s nothing like a sea world but it is still amazing to see those beautiful creatures.
The facility was very clean and had a great atmosphere! I went to a couple of the animal shows and they were all fantastic, it was definitely worth the $30 for admission.
Loved everything I saw. Only complaint is that the pricing is outrageously high. Spent $100 for my husband, daughter and I to go and it's essentially worth more like $50. Definitely over priced, wouldn't go again because of that.
Plethora of sea creatures from all around Texas. The shark show was pretty good.
I loved it you you could see and learn about many animals. There is also a Starbucks in the Aquarium
Love going to watch the dolphin show, I wish the show was longer though. Overall really enjoyed all the views and good burger too
Good place to have fun in family. Excellent show of Dolphins
Don't miss the dolphin show, that is worth the price. The inside fish tanks are amazing huge and lots of them. Great shows just amazing variety. The 4d movie on sharks was great. Enjoyed it all. First time back in 20 Years, 10 times bigger.
Really outstanding aquarium. The architect and current staff have created a true oceanographic family experience. A colorful mini water park outside, to an entertaining family animal show, informative exhibits, and stunning aquatic habitats, all work together for a really fun learning experience. Also, huge props to the efforts the aquarium makes to be eco friendly. It's inspiring!
Kids had so much fun, its very interactive. Plenty to do, plan to go back
Tickets are pretty expensive, but the kids liked the splash park.
Absolutely fantastic! My son and I had a blast. We arrived close to 10 am and didn't leave till 4 pm. My son couldn't get enough of the wildlife and the 4D theatre was a huge hit for us as well! I'm already thinking about going back for another trip in the near future.
Love the animal shows, and theres a splash park for kids
Nice, could have a few more fish, animals, snakes instead of empty areas.
Very entertaining and the exhibits really let you get close.
PRICES WAY TO HIGH
THE FLYING ANGEL
Interesting and informative. Wish I had more time. I will be back!
Could spend hours, walking around and never get bored!
Love love this aquarium!!!! This is my favorite aquarium and I ve been to several! Before entering I didn t like the price but after seeing all of it, it was well worth it. I recommend catching the shows too! Very entertaining. I think the coolest thing I got to see was the Octopus it was a lot bigger than ones I had seen at other aquariums, practically scared me cuz was right on it when I realized what it was! I was looking for something smaller! But dolphins are my favorite so the dolphin show was definitely the highlight for me.
This place is phenomenal! Very professional staff, courteous as well as knowledgeable. Perfect place to take the kids for some fun and education on the life of the sea. Highly recommend !
Pretty Cool attraction for kids and adults both. Very affordable and family friendly atmosphere. After touring the aquarium, and all the other sites- the splash pad is a perfect accommodation to cool off and or grab a bite to eat. Convenient location ,spacious and free parking!
The Texas State Aquarium is a fun and fantastic place to bring kids of all ages! There is a lot to learn about and there are plenty of informative and enjoyable programs to see. The staff here is amazing and are happy to answer any questions you may have about their animals. The new Caribbean Journey is top notch and boasts beautiful local birds and wildlife, as well as gorgeous marine exhibits. I definitely recommend this place!
Awesome aquarium! Something fun to do at every turn. Flamingo feeding!!
Phenomenal aquarium experience, not to be missed. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and a wide array of healthy animals to admire!
It is amazing. Even though COVID is affecting everything most all exhibits are open.
Well worth the money spent! Plenty to do for the day.
We had a nice visit checking out the exhibits and learning about the different sea life. It wasn t too crowded and the staff were really friendly.
Not super big but over all a nice aquarium! Quality of Dolphin water was a bit murky, couple exhibits where in need of work but still over all recommended.
Absolutely loved coming here with my son! He got to spend his 2nd birthday here! Awesome and kept up facility!
This was a great aquarium, we were from out of town and found it a great place to take the kids.
I love the new addition they added. It takes you to a whole other world and you can see real birds fly around. I really love it
What a great aquarium! We loved the interactive areas from being able to touch the sand sharks, stingrays, hermit crabs, and jelly fish! The layout was beautiful from the inside to the outside. We especially loved the view of the bay. We loved the dolphin show but sadly not enough seating. Over all a great experience and the kids loved it!
Kids loved the new exhibit, missed the dolphin show but was great, loved the pictures sharks and the divers as they cleaned the tank.
Expensive but great aquarium! I had hoped they would have more hand sanitizer available throughout the building. Social distancing could be more strictly enforced.
Had a great time and all the staff were well informed and knowledgeable of the sea life and habitat. Seeing all the kids amazement of the fish and animals was really special! This is really special and should not be missed! Thank you Texas State Aquarium!
There was so much to look at. You can even touch a starfish or stingray. My son wished there was more snakes
Small for the time being but the massive expansion will be done soon. Great modern exhibits.
Dolphin show gets packed an hour before the show starts. Some people bring in their strollers in sitting areas even though they announce that walking paths and steps have to be cleared.
Food is expensive
My son and I had a great time!
The employees were all very friendly and everyone was wearing a mask and following health guidelines. The dolphin show and animal encounters were fantastic as well. All the animals appeared to be well cared for and everything was very clean.
I definitely will come back. It is expensive, however it is for a great cause. The exhibits could use some more explanation and the maps were somewhat confusing. It seemed like the splash pad and restaurant was closed for covid, which is prolly a good thing!
Overall I really enjoyed our experience.
Lots of fun for my son and I, we went for a little getaway vacation, took about 3 hours to walk including the little dolphin show we got to watch. My son got to pet the stingrays and sharks he loved our trip and really enjoyed the aquarium
Great wholesome experience. Due to covid, some features were unavailable. With So much aquatic life to see, there wasn't much of a dull moment. My son loved the sharks, while my daughter was drawn more towards to stingrays.
Plus, the splash pad was great end to the day.
Overall, it was a great experience.
Everything was great until my 4 year old nephew got pecked/bit by a flamingo. He wasn't even near the exhibit, was walking in the middle of the walkway toward the boa constrictor he wanted to see, and the male flamingo came out of the exhibit after him. The worker stated it was nesting season and the flamingo had been more aggressive that day. Luckily he left just a small bruise and didnt draw blood, so it was a minor hiccup in an otherwise perfect day at the aquarium. We all enjoyed it and I even made my nephew take a pic with a stuffed animal flamingo to remember the occasion. If anything, it is a funny story to tell family, but I dont think he'll be seeing any flamingos anytime soon.
This place is awesome ! Little pricey for a family. Lots to do and see. Several things are hands on and very educational. 3 story building with elevators.great food area and splash pad for the little ones. Dolphins are amazing get to area to view dolphin show early to get a good seat under the shade if not your standing. Right on the water, lots of construction around the area building a new bridge. USS Lexington right there as well. Nice onboard tours available.
A lot of fake coral in the fish focused exhibits, it's a bit of a let down, other than that we had a great time, the dolphin exhibit was quite good but I wish they'd spent some time talking about where their dolphins came from and how they'd acquired them and what they do to keep them occupied.
The Best Aquarium I've been too! Lots of animal interaction!
