The Texas State Aquarium is amazing and has so many activities you can do. Recently, I brought my siblings here and they LOVED it. You can touch and feed the stingrays, see dolphin and bird shows, see many different animals, and much more! This is a great place to go if you have children.

My kids love this place. They have a great splash pad that is open in the summer. If you live in corpus and will go more than twice, just buy the season pass.

Not a lot for adults after the first time. But again, the kids love seeing the animals.

Also, try to stay for one of the dolphin shows. It s nothing like a sea world but it is still amazing to see those beautiful creatures.

Loved everything I saw. Only complaint is that the pricing is outrageously high. Spent $100 for my husband, daughter and I to go and it's essentially worth more like $50. Definitely over priced, wouldn't go again because of that.

Don't miss the dolphin show, that is worth the price. The inside fish tanks are amazing huge and lots of them. Great shows just amazing variety. The 4d movie on sharks was great. Enjoyed it all. First time back in 20 Years, 10 times bigger.

Really outstanding aquarium. The architect and current staff have created a true oceanographic family experience. A colorful mini water park outside, to an entertaining family animal show, informative exhibits, and stunning aquatic habitats, all work together for a really fun learning experience. Also, huge props to the efforts the aquarium makes to be eco friendly. It's inspiring!

Absolutely fantastic! My son and I had a blast. We arrived close to 10 am and didn't leave till 4 pm. My son couldn't get enough of the wildlife and the 4D theatre was a huge hit for us as well! I'm already thinking about going back for another trip in the near future.

Love love this aquarium!!!! This is my favorite aquarium and I ve been to several! Before entering I didn t like the price but after seeing all of it, it was well worth it. I recommend catching the shows too! Very entertaining. I think the coolest thing I got to see was the Octopus it was a lot bigger than ones I had seen at other aquariums, practically scared me cuz was right on it when I realized what it was! I was looking for something smaller! But dolphins are my favorite so the dolphin show was definitely the highlight for me.

The staff here is amazing and are happy to answer any questions you may have about their animals. The new Caribbean Journey is top notch and boasts beautiful local birds and wildlife, as well as gorgeous marine exhibits. I definitely recommend this place!

What a great aquarium! We loved the interactive areas from being able to touch the sand sharks, stingrays, hermit crabs, and jelly fish! The layout was beautiful from the inside to the outside. We especially loved the view of the bay. We loved the dolphin show but sadly not enough seating. Over all a great experience and the kids loved it!

Dolphin show gets packed an hour before the show starts. Some people bring in their strollers in sitting areas even though they announce that walking paths and steps have to be cleared.

Food is expensive

My son and I had a great time!
The employees were all very friendly and everyone was wearing a mask and following health guidelines. The dolphin show and animal encounters were fantastic as well. All the animals appeared to be well cared for and everything was very clean.

I definitely will come back. It is expensive, however it is for a great cause. The exhibits could use some more explanation and the maps were somewhat confusing. It seemed like the splash pad and restaurant was closed for covid, which is prolly a good thing!

Overall I really enjoyed our experience.

Great wholesome experience. Due to covid, some features were unavailable. With So much aquatic life to see, there wasn't much of a dull moment. My son loved the sharks, while my daughter was drawn more towards to stingrays.
Plus, the splash pad was great end to the day.
Overall, it was a great experience.

Everything was great until my 4 year old nephew got pecked/bit by a flamingo. He wasn't even near the exhibit, was walking in the middle of the walkway toward the boa constrictor he wanted to see, and the male flamingo came out of the exhibit after him. The worker stated it was nesting season and the flamingo had been more aggressive that day. Luckily he left just a small bruise and didnt draw blood, so it was a minor hiccup in an otherwise perfect day at the aquarium. We all enjoyed it and I even made my nephew take a pic with a stuffed animal flamingo to remember the occasion. If anything, it is a funny story to tell family, but I dont think he'll be seeing any flamingos anytime soon.

This place is awesome ! Little pricey for a family. Lots to do and see. Several things are hands on and very educational. 3 story building with elevators.great food area and splash pad for the little ones. Dolphins are amazing get to area to view dolphin show early to get a good seat under the shade if not your standing. Right on the water, lots of construction around the area building a new bridge. USS Lexington right there as well. Nice onboard tours available.

A lot of fake coral in the fish focused exhibits, it's a bit of a let down, other than that we had a great time, the dolphin exhibit was quite good but I wish they'd spent some time talking about where their dolphins came from and how they'd acquired them and what they do to keep them occupied.
