Super awesome experience people are super nice the dolphin show is theme park quality.
Last 2 visits have been for the grandbabies they had a blast. For my grandsons..... It turned out to be the last time I seen them before they moved 1500 miles. Away.
Fun place to go with the kids but super pricey! Shows were fun to watch. If you're going to go more than once in a year, consider the membership.
It is a good place to visit we saw the dolphins wich was fun
Was not expecting a petting zoo when we toured as part of the main attraction. A++
Great place for the kids. Good dolphin show. Water park is an awesome way to cool off. HEB partner discount helped with entry. Make sure you bring your perks card
Lots of interactive things to do. Feeding the rays is a lot of fun. Great place to spend a few hours with the kids.
Excellent to learn about the fishes and their environment.
The aquarium was awesome! All the staff was friendly and informative. Our sloth experience was way beyond our expectations!! I would recommend this to anyone!!
Most fun I have ever had at an aquarium. The whole family had a blast!
Love seeing all the wonderful animals . The workers were very sweet. Me and my family recommend.
Very good, it has a huge variety of animals. Didactic for children and fun for all ages.
Slight expensive but a full day of fun. Get to the dolphin show a full 30 mins early if you want good seats or to sit at all, petting is alloud in a few spots (sting ray, small shark, starfish, hermit crab)
Sad place. The otter seemed distressed and the sea turtles we anxious. The alligator was stuck in a tiny hot pond. The aquarium was better but the outside exhibits seemed like animal abuse.
Seen fishies and rays and dolphins. Enjoyed New expansions and remodels. Face mask a must.
Fun, bring your own water bottle and some snacks in your bag since food is pricey
Beautiful exhibits! Helpful and attentive staff! Wonderful features! After my first visit I bought a season pass- I cannot wait until I go back!
First time at the aquarium. Very clean and map was easy to follow. Lots for kids to enjoy as well as adults.
Sea creatures abound dolphins turtles tiny seahorses. Clean and good food.
Incredible ... just be sure to bring an umbrella just in case it rains... the parking lot is 4-5 min walk to entrance not including ticket purchase
So much to see and do. Got to feed the stingrays! Lots and lots of great and interesting things to see.
For the Texas State Aquarium I kind of expected more... The dolphin exhibit, sea turtle exhibit, sloth exhibit, the jelly fish, and the couple shark exhibits were neat!
Very educational for kids and very pricey. The dolphin show is not much to see, but again its for kids. My kids did have lots of fun. If you have kids it's worth the visit.
Despite it being the off season for tourism, the aquarium still had a good variety of events for the public. Loved the dolphin and wildlife show. Also liked the community outreach rescue program. Beautiful aquariums, and we really like the Caribbean fish displays. However, there were a larger number of displays being worked on and closed, including the splash zone. It was beautiful weather, and being from the north, the weather (in the 70s) was great for getting wet. Please consider this in the future, or a discount due to the number of closed displays. Summertime is really the season to be there.
I love aquariums and this one was nice, but limited in displays. They only had sea animals from the Caribbean and the Gulf, which was done very nicely. We went on Community days, so only paid $2. It would not have been worth it if we would have paid full price. Because of the special they didn't have any shows or a few other things, but still we saw it all in about 2 1/2 hours.
Great place for an afternoon. The staff seems very informative on all the exhibits.
Great place to take your family.and while you're here take a walk to the aquarium or one of the many gift shops in the area
Really nice place and worth the price. So many things to see, can touch a few animals and also cool off in the theater. The staff is knowledgeable and excited to tell you about the animals. Another plus... starbucks! Wear comfy shoes!
An excellent organization for learning about Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean wildlife and ecosystems. I highly recommend a visit soon and buy a annual membership because you'll want to go back several times. A single visit is almost $40 per adult, but an annual membership is only about $70!
Excellent place..highly recommend and don't forget to see the 4D show u will enjoy
Whats not to love about the aquarium, espeically dollar days!
It was a very save place to be at during this pandemic
Nice staff and clean atmosphere. Need more sloths...
Very beautiful aquarium will highly recommend more of my friends to come. Very well organized and very informative staff.
Absolutely wonderful new additions, hope to see the future ones. The bird show was funny and engaging. If I could I would live there, but for a large family the fees are very high. I would take advantage on membership if there was a huge discount day though.
The facility and staff are on point. The Exhibits are solid, well put together and thought out. Dolphin shows were not going, but they did some practice runs while we were there. Plenty of hands on exhibits for kids, from touching sting rays, sharks and hermit crabs. An excellent way to spend a few hours. There is food and a Starbucks-esque Cafe onsite.
We had a wonderful time exploring and experiencing everything our Texas state aquarium
Very cool had a great time with grandsons school field trip
Lovely aquarium with an amazing atmosphere, even during COVID-19 they have kept it clean and interesting. The sharks, turtles, and otters were our favorite!
Had to pay 90$ for three people! But nice and interesting new exhibits that can provide a full day of fun.
Loved it. Perfect place to take our 1 and a half yr. Old. Clean, not crowded, fresh and loved all the wonderful exhibits
Thus place is nice but very overpriced. Not enough to look at or do.
Pretty cool. Just wish they would update their older exhibits
This is a great aquarium! The individual areas are basic but it is amazing due to the dolphin show and 4D theater that were included in the price of the ticket. We arrived to both 15 minutes early and had no problem getting a seat (NYE holiday and Covid restrictions dis not impact us).
We also bought online in advance so we could get a $5 discount per ticket which adds up for a family! You do have to pay for parking and the Starbucks was horrible (long wait, understaffed, no tea for the guest in front of me and luke warm coffee for me). But the aquarium was fun for all of us and easy to do with a family.
Love this aquarium, every time I come down I make sure to visit! Love the dolphin shows, very knowledgeable staff, plenty of interactive exhibits. Never fails to wow every time! Make sure to bring your student ID for a student discount!
Great time with the family! Several new exhibits with lots of animals. Definitely worth the trip!
The education about all the different animals is an amazing experience I've been here multiple times with and without my kids and they love it as well.
My girls love this place, have been coming for the past 4 yrs and we never leave disappointed. Will continue to visit as long as our girls want to continue to go.
It's nice there, just not a whole lot to see, in my opinion. They are building a new wing... Hopefully that'll make me wanna boost my rating. And the announcers for the shows almost always sound ridiculous--you know, high pitched and fake. Good for kiddos, annoying for adults. I may be a tough critic, in all fairness.
Amazing place and my kids loved the whole thing, especially the dolphin show! To me it was well worth the money.
Nice place with cool marine animals. The dolphin show was cool. I really enjoyed coming here.
It Was Worth It! For me And My Husband It Was $71 ..& took us 2hrs to see everything, staff was very nice & helpful. It was a great experience.
I really enjoyed it there. Only problem was I went on a $2 day and it was jam packed.
