Family owned. Friendly people. The comment above "no beer without food" is misleading. This is a restaurant with a bar. The person who wrote the review failed to disclose that the kitchen was closed when they tried to order beer. By law Taskey's cannot sell beer when the kitchen is closed. Try this place, the food is good.
Not sure how to rate this one!
Went in for a beer and they said they were not serving food. We said that was ok we just wanted beer! The bartender said no beer without food. The gentleman at the bar said order some chips. Ok cool!
No food she said.

I will be hesitant to spend money at this place in the future.
It was really good. Staff was attentive and food was yummy. The cheesesteak sandwich was delicious but the cod wasn't that great. The fries were absolutely amazing. Best fries I've had in a very long time. Overall, we definitely enjoyed our stop here.
Took a shot at this little hole in the wall on our way to Prescott.
We were in later on a Friday night. Waitstaff was attentive and friendly. Menu was sparse but diverse enough for most palettes. Food ranged from meatloaf to cod with sandwiches, burgers and salads.
The rustic feel betrays the great tasting food. My wife had pastrami (misspelled on the menu - easter egg) with potato salad. She loved them both.
I had the blue cheese burger. The crumbles were fantastic and the meat cooked perfectly (well, no pink on request).
The fries were the Star of the show - thick yet not soggy or freezery...cooked absolutely perfect.
Along with the cokes in canning jars (quaint) the meal was about $26.
Good portions. Good food. We will be back.
Have eaten their twice. The sirloin burgers are well prepared and fresh. Beer nice and cold.
No road trip is complete without stopping at a small town diner. This one is a winner!!

I was headed south on I-17 which was closed. Due to mayor accident. Stopped by Teskey's. Which closed at 7 pm. They remained open to served stranded motorists. And by the way the food and beer was great. Thank you for staying open
