Ambiance was really cool. Nice western theme. Service was extremely slow. We had 6 people for lunch and being 1 of only 3 tables it took them over an hour to get food. The prices are outrageous here as well. I had a buffalo burger and a soda and my bill was $25. Plenty of other restruants in Cheyenne have buffalo on the menu at far cheaper prices. You would think that this place we be cheaper on buffalo considering it is a huge buffalo ranch. The food was good but not at that price.

Thanksgiving Day was my first time at Terry Bison Ranch with family I had not seen in far too long. The Thanksgiving Day feast was delicious and the variety was amazing. But it was the service that wins these five stars; it was superb! Thank you to all at the Terry Bison Ranch for giving up your Thanksgiving day to make mine so special.

We camped here 3 nights in a motorhome, one at Passport America rate and others at full price to visit family. Best I can say is that the gravel site was level and had a full hookup. Interior roads have massive potholes, sites full of weeds. You can see bison and camels from the frontage road, no need to pay $12 for an hour-long train ride.
The steakhouse is rustic Western Style with New York prices. Had better bison burgers in a truck stop and didn't pay $18.
Would not recommend or return.

We live locally so we occasionally visit Terry Bison Ranch. We enjoy buffalo and camel watching and the occasional train ride. We recently inquired about nightly accommodations for any out of town guests that may want to stay at the ranch. We learned they rent cabins nightly for about $110 a night.

I went to visit someone in Cheyenne Wyoming and he had mentioned horseback riding. When we had finally gotten there they told us the last trail ride had just left and they wouldn't be having another one until late the next day, only problem with that is I was leaving that morning back home. Well one of the ladies that worked there told us she would take us on a ride early in the morning just for us! She made my experience at Terry Bison Ranch absolutely wonderful both days that we were there!

It isn't a 5 star place. That's the point. It's a working bison ranch, with a fairly expensive restaurant serving fresh bison, a few scheduled daytime activities, and terrible wifi. Great for a trail ride and an overnight stay, but I wouldn't plan a whole weekend around it.

We will not be staying at this place again. Both food places were a major disappointment between food being delivered cold and an hour after ordering at the steak house and the breakfast buffet being almost completely empty when we arrived. When they did start stocking the breakfast foods we have already been there 20mins. Biscuits where so cold I think they just defrosted them.

Costs for the activities on the ranch is to expensive. If they would reduce the costs of ATV rides and horse rides they would get a lot more activity with them.

Positive side is the convenience store is nice. We enjoyed feeding the animals.

2 stars because of the store, bathrooms and animals.

We stayed here 2 nights. It s definitely a unique experience. The RV spaces are pretty close together. It appears that there are some campers that live their longer term. We enjoyed the farm animals and the sunsets were amazing. Close to town too.

This lady up front is rude. The washers/dryers are run down. It s $900 a month for the lot rent, which is expensive enough. Ive gone up front to get change, and ask when the washers will be swapped out. And she s just rude. I had to go back up because the bag of quarters is short. And she was rude. They re already getting a LOT of money from us; every penny adds up. Would be nice for as expensive as it is if the customers were treated better.

So thankful for clean showers and bathrooms. We camped one night, had breakfast at the tombstone cafe which was a bit pricey. 11.00 for most everything on the menu. But was good tasting and service was okay.
Took the train ride and hand fed the bison.
General store was nice with lots of souvenirs and other helpful things.

Went on the train ride. Was about 45 mins, and feeding the bison and camels was great fun! Was cool to learn about the ranch. The train is hand built and a little sketchy, but is cool to know the ranch owner built it himself. Would recommend for a day trip from Fort Collins!

We were there with a very large group for a planned event. We had also booked one of the "cabins" for the night. It's a neat place and I'm sure more fun for kids than adults. They were understaffed for the whole day. Check-in(sold out rooms and camp sites), food service (2 hours to get food) both took much longer than it should have. While the staff is super nice they needed more for this PLANNED event.

The "cabin" is really NOT a cabin. It's a small single wide trailer that feels more like a camper than cabin. It was really hot that day nearing 100. 4pm We walk into the "cabin" to find it's over 100 inside. No shade. No AC on. When I find the AC it's in the bedroom. I called check in desk was told to open windows to allow air flow to bring AC air into front room, 2nd bedroom, however most of the windows had no screens to keep the bugs out from the wetland next to trailer. LaDonna was quick to get us a fan that helped some. By 3am it had cooled off enough that we turned down the AC. While this is a neat place to visit please understand what you are really getting before you book the room.

I stayed in my RV and was surprised by how much I enjoyed my stay. The staff was friendly and the bathrooms were clean. My kids enjoyed the park even though it was freezing out. I used the showers and even though they are small there is plenty of hot water and they are in good condition. I would definitely stay here again. The price is pretty steep though.

Would not recommend to anyone. Women in the office tell you one thing and do something else. The owner will make up lies and screw you out of your deposit on monthly rent. Then no one will call you back to tell you they are taking your money. Spots hold water when it rains.

This place is not a 5 star resort. It does not have concrete Paris or manicured lawns. From time to time it smells pretty bad too. It is a 5 start resort because of the staff. They are allows available, responsive and just plain ole nice.

Was a bit pricey, but we experienced something we probably wouldn't have otherwise.... Feeding Bison!!! We've seen Bison in person where we're from and have never been this close let alone be able to feed them. Had lunch at their restaurant which offered Bison burgers and Bison steak among other offerings. It is a full working ranch with many different animals you can see and touch. My son had a blast and can't wait to go back!

We come a couple times a year and staff is always friendly. We enjoy the train where you can feed the bison and seeing the other animals. The senator's steak house has good food, lots more than just steak. Rv park has very reasonable rates, and nice pull thru sites.

not worth the price. Everything here costs a bunch of money and for the service and amenities provided, its not worth it. The playgrounds look like a disease riddled nightmare. There are tons of things to do here, however those come at large additional costs. Ate at their steakhouse....Service was less than lousy, and it took forever for the food to get to us, and there wasn't but two other families in the place. After I got the bill for $80 I was completely turned away from this place. We call ton, hkwever we will avoid this place no matter what in the future.

The Terry Bison Ranch was beautiful!! Everything was very well maintained and the staff was incredibly informative and sweet! My husband and I did the train tour and had a wonderful time! It's clear the animals are very loved and the workers are passionate about what they do! I will recommend this place to anyone and everyone who is looking for things to do in the area.
