This is a great dealership. I bought a new truck from them 3.5 years ago and drove from Duluth (Duluth's dealerships are terrible). They were the best price and were awesome to work with. I did all of the work via email and the phone which included a trade in. Great place.
Note, great place to buy a new vehicle. I've never had any service done here.

Service techs are the WORST here. Uneducated about new vehicles. They cant work on them! They become agrumentative and have a lazy attitude. They get frustrated and give up and tell you to go to another repair shop. So we will...forever! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS FROM THIS HORRIBLE PLACE!
I came in today knowing it would be hard and having a slight chance to get a vehicle but the workers at Tenvoorde Ford made it possible. They did not stop or tell me we can t do it and kept working hard for me and got me my vehicle, I can not thank them enough and really suggest that the people here will not let you down. Zack and Angie were the best, there was days where I was busy and they stayed in contact with me the entire time they were the ones that made it possible for me to get my dream truck, I can t thank them two enough for what they did. Highly recommend them two to have you help because they will not let you down.
From the time I walked up to the door (which was held open for me) to the time I left (with a smile on my face) I was impressed with the outstanding service. The staff at Tenvoorde went over and above my expectations. I have and will continue to rave about my experience. Keep up the amazing and rare customer service. I will be back!
Well the service guy rotated our tires we didnt ask for it but were charged for it than they road tested the car and charged 99 dollars for that on our 2014 focus we took it in for a oilchange and told them to check out some noise the bill was 159. I guess we'll look for a new place. We told him to call us if he found anything no call except to say car was ready the car belonged to a lady friend of mine I guess that's how they treat woman
Tenvoorde Ford is without a doubt the most helpful, friendliest Ford dealership I have ever dealt with. And as someone who spent 8 years in the Army I have dealt with Ford dealerships all over the United States as well as in Germany. None of them even come close to Tenvoorde's outstanding customer service!
My wife and I bought a used Dodge Caravan here 13 months ago and have been bery pleased with their customer service. The van developed an oil leak last week and I took it in for repairs. I arrived 20 minutes before my appointment and they got me all checked in and my loaner vehicle all within 10 minutes. So I was in and out before my appointment. Great customer service!
An amazing demonstration of customer service and customer care. My daughter is in college, hundreds of miles away, I turned to Tenvoorde Ford for help with a needed repair for a dated vehicle. The service manager Jim was exceptional! He kept in constant contact with me over the time of repair an truly went above and beyond to ensure my daughters well being. Thank you Jim, and thank you Tenvoorde Ford.
I brought my 2017 ford edge in for some warranty work and they needed to keep it for a few days, I requested a loner car comparable to mine and they gave me a 2017 explorer to drive in the meantime. I was extremely pleased with their customer service, and how they went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. Bill from service was awesome to work with!
Our experience with Tenvoorde was so ridiculous, I had to take 24 hours to calm down before posting my review so as to remain calm.
My girlfriend went to look at a 2016 Ford Focus with only 5,000 miles on it. She expected we were looking a bit out of our range. Rather than telling us no, we couldn't verify this, or approve you for that, they assured us that we were going to be good to go. In fact, her and her father sat there at the lot while they worked on it ALL DAY LONG. So much so that DESPITE US NOT HAVING ANY INSURANCE AT ALL, they let us take the car for two days while they worked on the financing end for us. Every step of the way telling her "we're just waiting on this 'one thing' first, then we're good to go". When all was said and done, there were roughly 4 to 6 different things they were "just waiting on", as every time one thing came through, it was another thing.
They are not honest in their practices. AT ALL
Not only that, but when we pointed out the mouse nest in the engine, they were shocked to see it. We told them we would want the filters blown out, etc, to find out if it was the engine that said mouse got it's bedding from, and check the wires for chewing, etc.
They didn't even bother with that stating "oh, that's the least of our concern"
Finally they tell us a down payment of $1,700 would be needed. We said we needed a day to work on it, but we weren't sure whether we would be able to manage it or not. (We have all calls and conversations recorded) The dealer informed us that was more than fine, and to come in the next afternoon.
The next morning a female from the f UK nancie department called to inform us that even with the 1,700, we wouldn't get it, and that we were supposed to return it the previous day. They assured us they could get us into a different car (HA!), but that one was no longer "in a holding pattern".
Upon asking "we have the money, can we just do the paperwork and wrap this up?", they told us there was nothing they could do to get us into said car. They would not offer an explanation, but to tell us there is nothing they can do.
We gave them the key, the dealer plate they had in the window, and left.
We went Motors 75 Plus down the road instead, and the guy that runs the place was SO helpful that even though he couldn't help us himself, he sent us down to West Metro Buick, GMC, in Monticello, and they put us in a car car within hours.
I may add as well that at Tenvoorde they had ten to twenty people buzzing around, talking to each other, with maybe 1 to 2 customers at any given time, and they couldn't be bothered to be helpful in any way, whilst at West Metro, they were SO slammed with people the plce was buzzing, and they STILL went out of there way to help anyone that may need anything. They're good people.
Moral of the story, Tenvoorde is an utter joke. Go to Cody at Motors 75 Plus if you're looking in St Cloud, or West Metro Buick GMC, and don't put your trust in Tenvoorde. They will disappoint in spectacular fassion.
I may also comment that at BOTH of the other car dealerships, they said they get people in that Tenvoorde screwed around ALL THE TIME, and it's not at all unusual to hear a story like ours.
Update: said car is back on the site, advertised at the accurate odometer reading from what we drove it back in with, so they have since relisted it. Within 24 hours of our leaving.
Also, the radio cuts out every minute or so for about a moment, and there is an occasional hissing from the passenger side speaker.
Buying my car here was super smooth. I wasn t even really looking for a car but they had a Lincoln sitting in their great inventory selection that I just had to have. The car was clean and free from problems. Everyone was very kind and respectful. Mike in finance was super upfront with all of the paperwork and went above and beyond to make sure I got a good financing rate. Sadly right after I bought the car I accidentally broke part of my seat, but their service department got me right in to get it fixed. I could not be happier with my experience here.
I drove about an hour away to look at a used vehicle they had, was very pleased with the immediate service. We made an appointment and were early, but they didn't have a problem with that. We did purchase the vehicle, they were quick, prompt and courteous. A thank you goes to George for making the trip painless and easy.
We had a great experience trading in our F150 for a used SUV. Salesman Erik was very helpful and nice. Satisfied with price of new vehicle and our trade in. Easy process!! Great communication prior to purchasing. Well worth the 2 hour drive!!
I absolutely love Tenvoorde :) From my past employment (5 years ago) to now my time as a customer (2 vehicles!) The service center is great, sales staff are honest and genuine, and the dealership provides an exceptional experience.
Thank you!
Special thank you to my friend and now RETIREE, Dave Schultzetenberg.
I brought my girlfriend to buy a Ford Fusion and met Charlie Cady a Salesman at Tenvoorde. Let's just say we met the perfect salesman. He was unbelievably knowledgable about the different Fusion Models and we decided to purchase the SE model and couldn't be happier. We were in and out in about two hours total and it was a breeze. NO PRESSURE AT ALL! Charlie Cady is very professional and made us laugh which really makes the atmosphere great. He was happy to show us around the whole dealership and tell us about the history behind the dealership. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND ASKING FOR CHARLIE IF YOU BUY A CAR AT TENVOORDE FORD!!
I first met Mike Bower when he started at Tenvoorde in 1996. I bought two vehicles from him that year and over the past 17 years I have bought several other vehicles from Mike. He is the best sales person I have ever dealt with and would highly recommend him.
Way over priced for servicing vehicles. Brought it in to get it checked out and tore my engine apart to tell me something was wrong with the engine and nothing was wrong with it
i have always traded with tenvoorde, mike bower is a great salesperson, and steve in service is great. steve listens and explains to you, very honest about your car. i only go to those two. great employes . the dealership is great also.
EDITED REVIEW: Originally I was happy with my purchase. However that changed fairly quickly. They called me randomly and said they had some parts for my car and to replace them. I didn't pay for that, however NOTHING about it was mentioned when I bought it. I did however wait for hours longer than I was told I would have to. They wrote up a problem that they said they were going to fix when I bought it. They have had it more than once and the problem is STILL there. I've told them, but they reassure me it isn't. It's a wind noise, trust me, it's there. When I bought it, they replaced the engine since there was a knock. They however didn't fix all the issues with that since I'm now having the same problem again. I also have come to realize that that is why they never once would have me start it while being in the car. They used the auto start from a ways away every time it needed to be started when I looked at it. I swear they were hiding the engine knock. There was way more scratches on it than it looked. And everything it's there they run it through the car wash thing, but it never looks good. It's still just as dirty. Any other car I've had somewhere else they actually detail the outside of it. I have wasted so much time there for all this... I live an hour away... I've had to take many days off of work to bring it in since they have to have it by a certain time, but never get to it until hours later. I literally cannot wait to get rid of this car. I won't ever shop here again. I recommended a friend here who has had nothing but issues with her car too. I feel absolutely horrible for it and will never do it again.
I was in the market for a used car, but wasn't going to be happy with one as I wanted a crossover like I was used to. Zach Stumpf was the salesperson who helped me out and I 100% recommend him! I never told him about all the options I would love to have in a vehicle, and he found me one on their lot that had all of them and more! I've had to purchase a few cars in the last couple of years for various reasons and this purchase was by far the most enjoyable experience I've ever had at a car dealership! Zach is so much fun, knowledgeable, funny, nice, and dedicated to making sure that his customers are all being helped the best they can be. He had many customers at the time I bought my car, and he still managed to help me and make me feel like I was his only customer at that moment. As a dealership, they are very friendly as well. They even agreed to fix a couple of things when they didn't have to as it was used. They also offer a warranty on some of their used vehicles that I've never seen at another dealership! I am happy that I will become a repeat customer to them, and Zach, as I am still in awe that I was able to purchase a vehicle stress free! Both the dealership and Zach seem to be very genuine all around! For not wanting to purchase a car (but needing to for financial reasons) I left the dealership more than happy with my purchase and my experience!!
Disgusted in their customer service department. I bought a 2011 fiesta two-three years ago(and at the time I was unaware of the issues that the Fiestas and Focuses have with shifting between gears and accelerating). At the time, I needed a smaller compact car, so it was perfect @ the time. The salesman reassured me that it was in great condition and it was a very good car. Not even a couple months later, I start noticing the above issues. My boyfriend at the time had a mechanic(who told us about the issues look at it and even brought it back to the dealership to find out what we could do to fix the issues. They didnt do anything, they just told us it happens with these 2011- 2012 fiestas and there is nothing they can do for us. I went back to Ford a year ago to see if they would take the car back or trade it in, they wouldn't because the value of the car itself has gone down significantly and couldnt be traded in nor sold due to it's negative value. I tried to trade it in this year as well due to the class action lawsuit against Ford for selling cars with defective parts. after going in this year(not even two months ago), we went to see the GM of Sales(Tim) who listened to what my issue was and even seemed sympathetic to what had happened. He said that he would look into it for me and start looking at different vehicles for me that I could trade my fiesta for. Fast-track 4 weeks, Tim would tell me he was going to call me with updates and never did. I always had to call him and track him down and he always seemed too rushed to really even hear what I was saying. It took him 4 weeks to tell me that he couldnt do anything for me. No dealership will touch my car, not even the one who sold it to me. And for that reason alone, it tells me that the company isnt anything\anyone I need to associate myself with. I will never conduct business with Tenvoorde ever again.
Good experience......Dan and Darrin were great. I wished we could have had the deal done earlier but I shopped around and took the price to them. This is a joke, why not give me the best possible price after I ask you twice.......I do the work so you can sell a car? They beat the price and put some accessories in. Hit them for everything accessory wise to make the deal. Great truck....love it!!!!!! Ford rocked this design!!!
