Dr. Butler Scheduler snapped me up over the phone while i was crying hurting & in pain all because i was trying to figure out why i couldn't come back there & if it was somewhere else she could refer me to or give me a recommendation on where to go.. she rudely told me to go to an ER or something hung up in my face before i could get a name or anything! I NEVERRRR even wanna go back she made me feel very uncomfortable while i was in pain & just trying to get help.
Dr. Kudrik has gotten my mom through a difficult diagnosis, Advanced Stage 4 Gastric Cancer...April 5th, 2018 she will get to ring the bell...praise God she is now cancer free and SCOA is the reason she has gotten this far...they ALWAYS had a plan ready when we were wondering what the next step was...There is NO way my mom would be here today if it wasn't for her doctors...Kudos to this team for all their great work...I hope when I get my certification for phlebotomy I will be able to work at SCOA...they honestly make you feel like family...
My sister trusted her I could see it in her eyes that she really believed in this doctor was going to help her and I watched her deteriorate and nobody do anything about it except keep giving her more drugs that made her sicker and sicker never helping her to recuperate it is absolutely made me understand I will never consider going through chemotherapy or anything close to what I saw them do to my sister we lost her within 90 days of finding out that she was going to fight it we would have had her probably much longer had we just left the cancer alone to sit the type of treatment that they did to her put her through a lot of pain she forgot who she was it was terrible it was the most horrible experience of my life
Absolutely some of the best care. My spouse is very much alive and well thanks in part for the doctors and chemo nurses at South Carolina Oncology Associates. Our lovely Dr. Sullivan and her Nurse Practitioner Andrea Oates have given Lewis Michael Jones , spouse, exceptional care and always bring our spirits up. Beautiful Staff and Crew noticeable the moment you walk in the door, thanks SCOA, John and Mike Baird
One of their receptionists (maybe appointment scheduler) is rude and was very condescending over the phone. My mom was a new referral with questions and the level of rudeness she experienced was uncalled for, to the point it left her teary eyed! If it weren t for this being the only local option under insurance, my mom would have went elsewhere. The in person visits have been pleasant though...only reason for 2 stars.
Very pleasant experience... The staff are very polite and courteous. And the doctors are very good at what they do. I enjoy coming to the doctors... ( How ironic is that ) lol...
Lies n More lies to keep you coming back, just to put money in their pockets, do not care about patients. And have the adasity to throw yo other illnesses in your face. Very UnProfessional. They cover up for each other. #DrJamesWilliams #Susie #Becky #Shelly
This is a tremendous place of healing!!! Everyone that goes here says it!!! Everyone takes care of you with a warm & receptive caring smile!!! And the patients that are going there, we share a sense of helping, caring, encouraging smiles, words, hugs & love!!! God is there!!! It is bright, with windows all over, roomy, & everyone makes sure you know where you are going....from when you first go in till when you see the Dr & have to go home!!! They have their own imaging place with everything they need to study you with so they can give you your answers mostly right away!! Also they have where you can have your bloodwork taken & answers also right then while you're there. And whether you need chemo or radiation, you have knowledgeable staff, nurses & doctors working with you. If you need one, wheel chairs right as you come in the main door. And they have spacious personal bathrooms shared by men & women big enough for wheelchair accessibility. A Wonderful place!!! Thank God for them!!
We've been in hospital for 2 weeks and they told us the cancer has moved to his bones now. The doctors, folks from pet scan and I have left numerous messages and had them paged. Absolutely no response from them. He's been battling cancer for 2 years with them. Malpractice maybe?
We felt very blessed to find Dr. Kudrik and SCOA to work with my mother and our family in treating her lung cancer. After every visit my Mom would tell the Dr, "I love you" and he'd smile and say, "Well, I love you, too." He's a very sincere Dr. and tells you exactly what you're dealing with, but in a very compassionate way. When you're dealing with cancer, compassion is needed and appreciated. 5 stars for SCOA.
One of the Greatest Place for Chemo services and the most professional service! Thanks for the wonderful services and the best human touch possible for Gerald McNair! The Nurses are the BEST IN SOUTH CAROLINA! Hello Carla, Anna and the rest!
This is a great place to receive care! The doctors and staff are extremely professional. Dr. Sullivan is the best; very thorough and compassionate about my health. They really take care of their patients!
Two "doctors" in this practice ordered an inadequate biopsy, that is below the medical standard, for my wife and, therefore, misdiagnosed her cancer. They treated her with an inappropriate chemotherapy regimen. They called her cancer "indolent", which is slow-growing, but it was actually a very aggressive cancer that could have been treated, but wasn't. A more complete description of this case, along with an analysis of these doctors and the medical profession in general will be available sometime in the coming months in a book I am completing and is under contract for publication.
I have been with Beaver Medical for over 25 years. I had cancer 6 years ago and as a result I am tested often by many doctors. My Oncologist was Dr. Ibrahim (who I got such great care from). Recently Beaver changed their department and contracted with a group called South California Oncology Associates. I was never notified that my appointment with Dr. Ibrahim was canceled until I went in to get my labs done. That is also when I found out I couldn't see him anymore. I had to reschedule my appointment for a month later With Dr. Tsang. His nurse said she would mail me a lab slip. I never received it and had to reschedule. I also had to go to the Banning location for the lab work because of the short notice. I used to be able to go to whatever Beaver was convenient.
I also want to add that my medical insurance changed in September and I specifically went in and met with the billing department to find out what insurance I should go with to insure that I would continue with all my Beaver doctors. Well I went with what they recommended and now I can't see Dr. Ibrahim anymore. I am not happy :-(
The staff is top notch. They all seem to care and it make the cancer experience a little easier. The Ladies that take your blood are the best I've seen. Always upbeat and kind and pull blood on the first try.
While getting cancer is the worse thing that could happen to me. Having this care facility with in hour of my home sure helps. Staff very caring Chemo nurses are Saints in my book.
