Horrible. Manager, Gustavo, was incredibly rude, unprofessional and I not empathetic to my circumstance.

All to pay for a bottle of champagne for my wife. He calls me at midnight to tell me the card was declined but I submitted payment online earlier. So he takes it upon himself to go to the table and instigates a conversation w my wife and guests. This was embarrassing, unprofessional and ridiculous for a place that claims to be 5 stars.

I have never had issues w payment on my cards and a midnight call for something I had confirmation for online payment just screams fraud.

This experience was a great indicator bc I was scheduled for a conference here in May but I will stay in a different hotel out of spite of this c regardless of convenience factor. Stay away

Not a good hotel if you are used to high end hotels. Definitely makes it on reputation alone. No chance it would survive if it opened in today s market. If you are a fan of customer service I d look elsewhere. If you want a big party hotel that is nicer than a best western this is your spot. Comparable to Hilton with Waldorf pricing.

Spa experience is terrible. Go elsewhere.

Restaurants are good though.

I went for a day spa with 3 more friends during the Spa month. The services were great, restaurant, pools, everything was excellent.
If you are looking for some quiet place I would recommend to check other time of the year, this time it was pretty full

The workers are very nice but the hotel is disgustingly crowded. Every extra amenity cost an unfair amount of money. I recommend another hotel if you want to really enjoy your vacation and get the most out of your dollar. They only want your money.

Good for partying. Not for families.

Good for partying. Not for families.

Cons: Toilets near the pool were clogged and overflowing. Elevator and rooms a bit dated. Noisy and loud. Obvoxious party goers everywhere. Drunks folks shouting in the hallways and picking fights. Teens and young adults tossing footballs across the swimming pool and hitting people.

Pros: Service was great. Prompt for a hotel this size. Food was excellent. Great place to party of you're there for that.

I had horrible experience, I can t recomend the hotel due to terrible guest service. I prefer to call it club than hotel , restaurants have great food and services but you are paying more for it. But when it comes to the hotel itself I paied around $300 a night for such a bad service from the house keeping all the way to the towel guys at the pool. They lack ethics & professionalism, I simply don t understand how they have a 4 star hotel. Specially the hotel security was only there to look at girls half naked & upon needing help they truly did horrible. Don t waste your money for this property & don t even need to book in advance. Keep in mid about how they are advertising their beech chairs it doesn t include the umbrellas ($25.00) also you can t sit on the first raw (additional $100) also they also do terrible job setting the chairs you don t have any views and simply setting so close to your neighbors who start smoking weed in the afternoon/evening. No ice machine also their fridge never makes ice and works so load to even keep it cool, and when you ask for it be ready for at lease 30 min. The furnitures were so dusty and dirty upon arrival and even with the room service not even dusting it. I can believe I paid almost $350 a night including tax for this hotel. NOT A HIGH END EXPERIENCE. btw house keeping easily takes the tip I kept for them daily but they don t even take trash out and forget to leave coffee & sugar. After all of these you are not even given the chance to discuss it with manager or even general manager. That s why at the beginning I said it s horrible & simply it s a club not hotel. If you want to spend towice on food & drinks great go for it, otherwise save your selves from headache. Not a relaxing hotel!!!!!!!

I am staying at the Fontainebleau hotel and it is very expensive. There is a club called Liv in the lobby. When I arrived apparently I was coming I through the wrong entrance, I asked well where do I go to get in the bouncer pointed at a wall and told me that way when I asked if he could be more specific he got defensive and started cursing at me. His supervisor came around and said what's going on I told him he guided me where to go to get in. When I walked around the security that was there told me they were closed. I said well why didn't the guy who told me to walk around tell me that and he had no answer. Then when I said well we pay good money to stay here, he said the club was not affiliated with the hotel and brushed me off. Personally if your going to claim you are not affiliated with the hotel and treat their guest like trash then you don't deserve to be doing business there in the first place. Why have your place of business somewhere but treat the people in that place like their trash and say your not affiliated with the place you do business. I make good income I was dressed nice and paying 300 a night to stay in the hotel why not at least treat me with common courtesy. Then when I am upset about it the security tells me to act professional. How do expect me to act professional but don't expect that from someone running a business out of your hotel. My company is paying for me to stay here but I rather pay to stay in a motel 6. Don't waste your money at this club or the hotel it's in unless your ready to be disappointed. Sorry if they are not affiliated like they said but they are still in your hotel.

I would love to thank management and staff for an AMAZING stay at Fountaine bleau in July 2018! The property was beautifully maintained, updated but still had the old world charm with amazing views. Management and staff went above and beyond to make our visit truly a memorable experience.

Agressive valets, no courtesy or manners. It's a hotel. Their valets act like thugs. You arrive to the hotel and they want you to move on, to leave, because of traffic. They need to allow their guests to arrive calmly and to leave in a proper way, not like chasing their transportation like dogs. When upon checking their guests, they need to instruct their guests, where they need to go to wait or to be picked up by any kind of transportation, whether it's private or commercial(rideshare, for-hire service or private), because Fountaineblue hotel has about 4 exits. Fountaineblue creates its own back up traffic, even with guests coming back to the hotel, they don't know the ARRIVALS entrance or the DEPARTURES one. When people are at the club LIV, they should be instructed to call their transportation at the DEPARTURES LEVEL. The Rideshares signal the drivers to go to DEPARTURES, the rideshare drivers drive to DEPARTURES, but don't find the passengers there. The drivers call the passengers for their actual location. Passengers say they are at LIV. Passengers don't know they are at ARRIVALS. Clubgoers should be directed to REQUEST THEIR TRANSPORTATION AT DEPARTURES. The hotel should put a sign at the club entrance with this directive. And let them know, put signs inside hotel towards DEPARTURE EXIT/LEVEL(Transportation Pick up Area). Then, do something with the TRAFFIC LIGHT TOO LONG TO CHANGE out of the DEPARTURES RAMP exiting hotel to street. Fix the traffic light with the city or put traffic cops to alleviate the flow of traffic coming out onto the street from the DEPARTURES EXIT. How long this nightmare is going to continue on weekends starting Thursdays in season. Nobody in the hotel does anything to remedy the traffic in and out of the hotel.

Terrible. The girl who checked us in had a horrible attitude. Also, they told us we could have a late check out then didn't record it. So, the next day we had the maid trying to come in and the front desk calling to have us leave an hour early. There are many hotels on this part of the beach, do yourself a favor and find a different one.

Walked over to have lunch with friends who had scheduled a day at their spa. We had lunch at Pizza and Burgers. The food was good for twice the price of anywhere in America....and the best part was after spending $134 for lunch for 4, I could not walk out to the boardwalk through the pool. Guess where I will never vacation.....guest services only applies to those who want to overpay for subpar services.....had dinner reservations to meet my friends at Scarpetta....cancelled....

Nice accommodations. The only issue I had was the seating at the pool. The lounge chairs are packed together and i felt like I was on top of strangers while trying to relax at the pool. Other then that everything was great.

The customer service experience is so horrible. This would be the fourth time trying to confirm my hotel is cancelled. hotel is non responsive. I think maybe there needs to be more people working here bc no one his confirming my hotel is cancelled no one told me how my refund with take and how much. Nothing. Please tell the hotel owners/investors to invest in their customers.

Beware!!!!!! Major fraudulent activity at this hotel!!! Credit card information stolen during the check in process. . Hotel requested additional credit card to the debit card already on record and then double charged. We were trying to resolve this with the hotel manager who is now fired????? I have never experienced this degree of shady and fraudulent activity fom a hotel in my life!!!! Will avoid this hotel like a plague in the future!!!!

How can you not love Fontainebleau Hotel. Its glitz glamour night life and r&r all rolled into one. Holy smokes on the price though. But I spent that on hotels that can't compare to this. Now I can only speak for the hotel room. We did a girls trip so we did a double occupancy queen bed and I must say those rooms are small compared to other hotels. Poolside is always a party from sun up to sun down but that's what Miami life for tourist are for. You also have to stay here because of LIV on Sunday. LIV was about $100 to get in because we stayed in the hotel and we bought a table for $2500. Yikes! But you only LIV once.

For what you pay the rooms are unimpressive. The highlight of this hotel is the pool area and restaurants (which are ridiculously over priced but you already knew that) come for the pools and beach leave to go do anything else like drink and eat.

It s a beautiful hotel, at check in the gentlemen said he was upgrading our room from the king w/ ocean view we had to double queens w/ ocean view. We really appreciated that. But everything in the room was broken, the tint on the windows, the mini fridge, the screen in the bathroom, the shower drain did not drain causing the shower to almost overflow, the AC hardly cooled, and the door to the balcony. For 300 dollars a night I would have looked over all these issues if the AC worked, I woke up sweating in the middle of the night due to the AC shutting on and off. I will probably choose a newer hotel when back in Miami next time.

Worst venue I've ever been to. They will over charge you by the hundreds/thousands for a show that they advertise for 11pm and the "entertainment" wont show up till 2:30 am. No refunds, no explanations, no anything.

I never write negative reviews but this time I have too. This Hotel is a money trap, greedy and down right ridiculous! They take all the coffee makers and refrigerators our of even the suites! So you can't bring left overs back to the room, you can't go to the store, and you can't make coffee! You are forced to go down stairs and spend a FORTUNE on every little thing you buy! Then they have prices on the food menu that will make you have a heart attack when you get the bill! Everywhere on the resort! You are trapped! Then they put these big fancy beds all around the pools and if you want to lay on one its $350.00 to $800.00 per bed!! What a joke!!!!! They don't even come with the fancy room. Actually you get NO PERKS by having a suite! They promised us one suite then gave us another once getting there. The worst thing to me is, this place was built by the history of the old movie stars hanging there and they erased the history of them and do not have one single hallway of fame to dedicate to them in memory. NOTHING!!!!!! Its crawling with young half naked people and no one even knows who Dean Martin is or that he use to hang there. This place would have been nothing more than a fancy hotel without the people who were there in the past. They have nothing there to dedicate to them! They need a room of all the history of the people who made that place. So in my eyes the place is COLD....... MONEY HUNGRY.......... CHEAP WITH THE GUEST........... BUT A FORTUNE TO EAT AND STAY........ Service was TERRIBLE!!!!! nothing good about it... The layout was stupid too!

Quite possibly the worst service in my lifetime of travels. Specifically the waiting staff at the beach/pool. The hotel is beautiful & historic, and although old, it is kept clean and good condition. The service however, is terrible. The only area that has great service was at the on-site restaurant Hakkasan. At the beach on our first day, drinks took one hour 15 minutes to get there, and my husbands beer was hot. The next day, we asked the server at the beach if that was normal amount of time, and he said no, and that he would take care of us, only to once again, take on average about 45 minutes for the drinks to get there. When we complained to the waiter, he told us we should consider ourselves lucky as the service was one of the best in Miami. We also overheard as other people got there, the cabana people offered the cabanas at different price to different people.

Its the Fountainbleau ! America's 1st, Original, playground to the stars. The level of luxury and service is superb, the dining experiences leave everything else far behind, inviting friends for a drink in the lobby is a mark of sophistication and elegance. Staying at the Fountainebleau says you have arrived, that you are in the rarefied air of celebrities and international sophisticates. Their is nothing on earth that compares to the Fountainebleau.
