Not the best start. Longest line ever to check in to a hotel. Nice room followed by more lines throughout the hotel. Is this Disney or is Florida just over - hyped even here? They closed the pool right as we tried to get in - who knows why

By far the best hotel we stayed in! We came with for a week, for a family wedding, and had the most memorable time in Miami Beach. All thanks to the awesome staff of the hotel. We will be back:)

Great place to visit. The rooms are plush, the beds are comfortable, room service is quick. I love the amenities. The pool side bars and Liv nightclub are always lit. I come here a lot for social events and it's never a dull moment.

A big resort property with great history, including a celebration of Sinatra. Multiple hotels--or towers--within the same property. Ask for a high floor with view. The pools are many and diverse, including Vip cabanas for your inner rock star. Lots of trendy restaurants, Stript, haakasan, and other. Liv nightclub is hot on sat and sun for hip hop crowd.

Beautiful hotel on the beach many pools
My complaint is with front desk operations billing and costs...which probably isn't an issue for most...biggest complaints are I called front desk twice before arriving only to get voice mail and no one ever called back...after checking in I had a question on what they charged to my cc...took 4 calls ..one to another dept that was closed..another to voice mail...ridiculous ...biggest billing complaint is they charged me $600 for 4 days of incidentals and when checking out desk said it takes 3 to 5 days to be refunded on cc...that is absolutely ridiculous....as one expects everything from a coke and up is way too expensive...i expect it to be more but marking up items 1000% is insulting
However besides that it's nice...

Only come here to party, dig gold or get digged. Pretty bizar to see stunning looking girls, wearing next to nothing, giving attention to men with shiny creditcards in the bar. I attended this hotel for big conference that took place there. Facilities, pools en restaurants were excellent but pricy. Minibar prices are insane ($10 for a bottle of water, please!) debitcard payments aren't possible at desk or shopa, so creditcard and cash are king. The pictures on the walls show Sinatra, Monroe and the rich and famous of the old visited Fontainebleau in the past. Of that grandeur, there's not much left.

Beautiful full service hotel right on the beach, great service from staff, great food (little over priced). Lots of pools with beautiful people to people watch (if you're into that). They even have a kids pool area good for families. I'll bring my family back here next time we come out.

Most beautiful view of Miami, very professional staff, and an unbelievable pool area. Went during Art Basel so there were some interesting exhibits, and DJ Khaled had his birthday party at the LIV club while we were there!

There is nothing to do there and all they want to do is take your money. Everything is overpriced for example the water is $10 a bottle. The service is not good and the managers were very rude. Everything in the room was broken and the room was very small for what we paid for. I would absolutely not recommend coming here even if you are a billionaire, there are much better hotels out there to choose from. I will definitely not come here again.

We went for a weekend. It is very expensive for the room and they charge you for everything in the pool area, it was imposible to find chairs in the pool. Service was just ok, the restaurant was the only thing that we loved.

I have stayed here severl times in the past however, this time i paid for 9 rooms for 3 nights as I brought several employees down there to show my appreciation for their hard work this last quarter.
The check in process and people at the reception were excellent!! they went way above and beyond however, The valet sucked, the dryer in my room was stuck, the ice maker didn't work, the internet on the apple computer couldn't connect, the room service food was horrible, the mini bar had stuff missing and would not stay cold. The TV in the front room didn't work. I called 3 separate times to get these things resolved, the only thing that got fixed quickly was the TV, but everything else never was resolved so I just gave up on them. $900/night hotel room I would have expected much better service and things to work properly.

It was quite the stay; better than good, but slightly below five star. The top reason this is not a five star is due to the fact that I have stayed in various true five-stars around the globe; naming this a five would simply be an insult to the other true players with the attention to detail that is needed for a five. The resort is vast and very large with many stores, restaurant bars, pools, pool bars, etcetera. There are various vibes in different pool areas which is adaptable to any taste. This is adjacent to the beach which is luxurious if you want to change it up from the poolside sun, which is a different sun; that is not debatable. They were a bit slow with the poolside service but I attribute that to COVID-19. People that work here are extremely respectable (except for the occasional bad apple, which exists in every industry). Overall a great stay, good time and I will be coming back again. Farewell, and till next time - CC Rockefeller

I had the worst EXPERIENCE at fountainbleau. If I could put no stars I would!!! I valet my car and valet stole my $650.00 Christian Dior sunglasses and management or corporate did not do anything about it besides saying they would comp. my valet ticket. Even after filing a report. NEVER EVER EVER LEAVE ANYTHING IN YOUR VEHICLE AT THIS HOTEL.
They will never get a dime of my money!!!

Loved it!! Beautiful hotel and resort but I think they take it to far with charging you for everything. There's a sign on your mini bar fridge stating that if you open it for personal use, you will be charged. I think that's a bit much to not be able to refrigerate something without being charged. Other then that it is a fabulous hotel with amazing restaurants within them. We ate at strip steak, scarpetta, and hakassan. They were all amazing in there own way bury favorite was definitely scarpetta.

The views from the highest balcony is very nice. The ballroom..... speechless. Staff is usually nice, great manners.
Valet could be better with the men. Some of them were bey rude. The ladies were actually extremely nice. The total opposite of what you'd expect in MIAMI. THANK YOU LADIES!
But the guys annoyed me terribly. My passenger door was open, add the drive my car toward me is when I noticed it. So I closed the door then asked one of the guys if he knew why it was open. His response was idk maybe some looked to see if thout were in it.
Nevertheless, sir, why are you driving with a door open. My car signals when something is wrong, open, off balance, low on fuel or pressure, etc. How did you not here that annoying bell? Not only the bell but the dashboard even shows it. IN RED! But anyhow, the hotel over all is very nice, feels mostly peaceful. Do expect TRAFFIC. Oh and welcome to MIAMI! ENJOY!!!

Nice property and great spa experience, but one huge drawback is that the pools close at 7 p.m.. We didn't have kids with us, but watched as the security guard - who was only doing his job - had to go around making little kids get out of the pool. A resort having this policy is ridiculous in general, but especially on a day when the temperature was over 90 degrees. If the pool is a big draw for you, choose another resort.

I enjoyed my stay at the fountainbleau , it's was very quiet in the rooms and gives a great sense of peace and comfort. If your lucky you can have a beautiful view of the beach and the yatchs from right outside your window. On the other hand, if your looking for some excitement they have a club that is conjoined to this wonderful hotel. The employees were very soft spoken and kind and helpful. if your looking for a some where great to stay with your friends and family for couple of days then I would definitely recommend the visit.
P.S. the have a bar and a pool

I stayed in Fontainebleau MIAMI hotel the past weekend, everything was good until we noticed we left 2 shirts in the closet. When I check out on Sunday , we made 7 calls to lost and found and we were told that the house keeper did not report the shirts
I haven received any answer yet. I feel extremely disappointed that in this luxury hotel happened things like this.
I have not be able to contact any manager , every time I call, looks like nobody know anything about the case.

Several calls made to lost and found, to security department including the supervisor ( Steve Nelson ) with no answer , any follow up . Every time I call I have to explain everything.
This is Sad and frustrating that the hotel allows this issues .

Our other hotel was cancelled due to a hurricane so last minute we booked Fontainbleu. What a treat. They had everything. The pools, the beach, the restaurants, the vibe.

You could find a quiet spot if you wanted or be part of the party. And the service and people are the best. They are always smiling and willing to help.

The rooms had everything and were very comfortable and we got an excellent view of the pool and beach.

This is not the hotel to stay at if you are trying to be frugal and save money. Be prepared to spend money if you really want to enjoy yourself. There's a reason this hotel comes up when you search LUXURY and not affordability.

Best Hotel ever. Seriously. Pool is amazing. Bar (inside and pool side) are magnificent. Food is wonderful! (Try the French Toast). I love this hotel, I ve only stayed at the Tressor and the Sorrento suites and they are worth it. (You will get access to the private pools). I suggest asking for a high floor room so that you can really enjoy the view. The views are breath taking. The staff is so attentive. I called at 6am because the aux on the radio wasn t working and they came quickly with a whole new radio and some complementary Voss water. I love this hotel. If I could live here I would. There is not one single negative thing to say and I always find something to complain about. Always. But not with this hotel. It s pure perfection. Like heaven on earth.

*I don't recommend this hotel for a family vacation. I believe its more suitable for those interested in partying and having a great time in Miami. World renown Club LIV is in the lower level of the hotel. You will likely meet several celebrities. I've stayed here 3x and each time I've met celebs (plural) whether it be an actor, rapper or a professional athlete. Also, if you can't get a suite don't even bother staying here. There regular rooms are nothing extraordinary and def overpriced. The suites have all the amenities: balconies over looking the ocean, whirlpool tubs, steam showers, fridges, pullout beds, etc.

Stayed in a suite here and while its a lovely property, management just didn't get their job done. Property is pet friendly and a neighboring room had dogs that howled off and on, day and night. We called the front desk and they apologized and promised to handle it. They never did, and after 7 calls (and 4 days of complaints) the hotel suggested we move! Uh, we didn't do anything and were settled in, how about the hotel just handle the issue. It was so bad the owner actually left a note on their door telling the hotel staff not to enter. Hotel management knew they didn't handle it properly but failed to offer reasonable compensation (in fact, they emailed us and provided 2 phone numbers for us to call the hotel manager, one was disconnected, the other was a wrong number!). You should spend you money elsewhere if you want to get a good sleep at night.

This was my first time going to Miami my sisters, my sister best friend, and me stayed here. I enjoy myself. We had the ocean view. They have everything here, the beach is right behind the hotel, they have a spa, multi-pools, restaurants, lounge, places to shop, and many many more. Serves was nice.

Got tickets for a pool party with my friends. Not any thing like a party but expensive drinks. They had a DJ but so far from the pool we couldn't even hear the music. Mostly kids in the pool and guys siting outside the pool smoking. Just some stripers dancing for themselves so maybe someone buy them a drink. Don't recommend it at all!

Came to celebrate my niece 18th birthday. We rented a cabana and got kicked out at 7pm from the pool and cabana. Staff was rude and abrupt. Told us there was nothing we could do and we had to leave. Honestly as a local this is why I never visit here and it will be my last time. People should be able to enjoy their time as their leisure especially after spending alot of money. This place it not cheap. Staff should know that they clients and patrons pay their tips and salary. Super disappointed. Not worth the price or head ache. Visit elsewhere.

The hotel was really nice, exceptional door service. The pools and private beach were also great. Blade was great, really good & quality food that was new and interesting. Chez bon bon has really good and creative desserts, but some items are not labeled properly with allergy information, so make sure to ask. Don't only go by the label. (had a tree nut dessert but apparently it had peanuts & it was never labeled). We were not told until after a allergic reaction. Pizza and Burgers was really good, great atmosphere and food was good. Strip steak was terrible, average food, completely overpriced. For a single plate around $24 you can add $20 to it between service charge and tip. Absolutely ridiculous considering it was average food. Every sit down restaurant we went to was able to cater to my allergic needs except strip steak. P.S. The hotels on South Beach need to stop charging service charges or at least cut back on it. The hotel restaurants we ate at Downtown didnt have any service charges. Each room already pays a resort fee which should cover the door service and amenities available. Please add recycling to the rooms and lobby.

i stayed here last year on my birthday in August 2017 with my mom and a friend. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. Amazing views, amazing food, amazing suite upgrade. They have different themed hotels on the property and we stayed at the french one with two balconies and two bathrooms. It was to DIE for. Get the duck rolls and softshell crab at HAKKASAN. If you're into night life, spacious rooms, pretty views, a decent pool ( the upside is that you can see the sunrise from the pool) and good food, this is the place to be. We visited the beach on several occasions and had sand all over our floor and the cleaning people cleaned it right up. I'm from New York and I'm very particular about hotels as I believe we have the best in the country. This one is top notch! Do not expect to come here and not spend, it's a 5 star hotel. If you're broke or on a budget, this ain't for you.

LGBT traveler review :)

LGBT traveler review :)
Where do I even begin? My wife and I booked this hotel after I visited LIV nightclub in the spring while on a girls trip. I was in love with everything about Fontainebleau and had to go back! Most importantly, the customer service and cleanliness are unparalleled at Fb. From the shiny floors to the tropical scent dispersed throughout the property, you know you are in a 5 star resort. Secondly, the VIBE. You can make this resort what you want it to be, but if you are looking for a quiet getaway, this is not the place for you. There's so much energy and if you are okay with being around a large number of people, you will love it here.

We began our days with coffee and bagels from Chez Bon Bon before hitting the large pool for coconut drinks and cold beer from our poolside seats. If you want decent seats (or any at all in some cases) you will want to get there by 9am. There's also a delicious breakfast buffet (or menu ordering) at Vida. We did this the first day, but then realized we needed to be at the pool much earlier! It was DELICIOUS.

As mentioned, we loved the vibe. It's definitely a party atmosphere, but that is what we were after (even as married lesbians). If you don't like the riff raff of being hit on, I don't recommend Fb, you visit here knowing that is part of the environment. You have to take the good with the annoying :) Everyone here was receptive and I felt that it was lesbian friendly - I cannot speak for my BGTQ counterparts.

We ate off property for dinner, but only because we wanted to experience Miami - Fb has amazing restaurants. We recommend Prime Italian - sceney but DELICIOUS. Plan to wait an hour even with a reservation.

I have to say, this is my favorite resort/beach vacation spot I've ever visited and we travel a lot. I never write reviews, but felt compelled for two reasons:

1. We are a lesbian couple and I think many LGBT couples would feel intimidated by this resort. It has a reputation of being "douchey." We are absolutely in love with this place and have added it to our yearly vacation trip rotation. I wanted to cry when we had to leave, which is rare.

2. Aaron Feld the hotel manager went ABOVE AND BEYOND for us. We had an issue with our taxi credit card machine when we arrived and while we were waiting for it to be resolved our luggage disappeared after being taken by a bellman After all the bellman searched for 20 minutes - they gave me the phone to personally call the manager. He appeared in less than two minutes. He was INCREDIBLE. He asked us to wait at the bar while he investigated and bought us two rounds of drinks while we anxiously awaited the discovery of our luggage. My wife was only a few minutes short of having a total meltdown when he appeared rolling our luggage. He apologized PROFUSELY and explained that his bellman did the right thing, but poorly communicated. Apparently, if luggage sits abandoned, bellman take it to storage immediately. The bellman did not tell anyone he had done this, so everyone was frantic. Fb is VERY busy - especially in the lobby, so keep an eye on your luggage. By most state laws hotels are only required to cover up to $100 worth of valuables if your luggage goes missing, keep that in mind.

The only complaint I have is that we stayed in the Sorrento tower room 722, jr. suite and there was a whistling noise due to the wind ALL NIGHT EVERY NIGHT. It woke us up every night. We should have requested to be moved or a solution, but we were having so much fun we didn't even want to interrupt our day. If that doesn't tell you how great this place is, I don't know what does!

You won't regret staying here.

Amazing pool scene but basically felt like I was staying at a night club, and if you are staying at the Chateau you basically have to walk through the big sceney lobby to get anywhere . We ate at one of the restaurants for dinner one night and the food was really good, but it is an expensive place.
