I am not sure if Susan Cowburn is the individual who does all of the hiring for Telenet, but if so I am very displeased with her lack of professionalism! She completely represented the company very poorly and proceeded to argue with me via email once I decided to not take the job mainly based on the poor google reviews. I didn t make it to Telenet but I hope that moving forward they ll consider finding an individual more people oriented and also more compassionate about their job. I am very displeased with how she carried on. Sad to say she will get away with it and continue to dishonor the company .

Where do I even begin with this sorry excuse of a business? Hmmmm well, if you want to work for a company that is beyond the term "money hungry", doesn't care about the safety of their employee's, puts targets on their employee's back when they bust their butts on a daily basis to produce and meet weekly goals, has bug issues (bed bugs) but refuses to actually do anything about it other than threaten their employee's whom have come forward with the evidence with their own jobs, when management (NOT SUPERVISORS - because most of them are actual decent human beings that care... minus a select few) acts like they are entirely too good for anyone to actually care and help their employee's like they say they do.... now this is just some of what i have witnessed, others I'm sure have witnessed more uglier things and have been treated just as bad. Now if this sounds like a stand up place then go to work for them. But just remember..... When the ENTIRE State of Georgia has been placed under a Tropical Storm Warning due to Hurricane Irma -- these people are still expecting everyone to be in their desks at 8 a.m. and making calls. Yet another prime example of how they have ZERO care or respect for their staff. Unbelievable! But yet they are such a great company to work for... I'm honestly glad I left when I did. This place is a freaking JOKE!

I use to work for telenet and that I thought it was a decent place to work, boy you have to be kidding me it's a complete joke. It's based on production and attendance. The attendance part is understandable but when you are calling small to large business and they will not speak to you due to the number being blocked or they do not want to buy anything it goes towards you. From the start the line "You do not sell anything" is a lie basically you do sell items. When Irma hit there was kids out of school and no power she to a tree falling on the power line they expected employees to still show up to work. 99% of the people that is employed there has kids ( schools were closed) and still expected to come to work. Another thing is "we will work with you " is another lie. Yes I'm laying it out there on the line for the public eye to see. Two former employees got in trouble for taking a employee to the hospital because of health issues. Well that boiled down to they did not want a ambulance there to cause a scene. Another example new hire had seizures and she got fired. Come on now you have to be kidding me. From lost prevention to HR employee became " HEAD HONCHO" and has no idea how to run a place. How can you be lost prevention to HR to the call center head coordinator? My point is if your desperate please go ahead. They do not like to be stood up to and do not like people standing their grounds. I got wrote up for attendance being out sick with my child and legal matters even with PTO. When I was out recovering from a bad car wreck I was told I needed to come back or I would lose my job. I do not plan on going back to that job what so ever. They also have their picks and favorites as well.

This was one of the worst job ever. I worked there several years ago, and at that time, the management was awful. Very conniving group of management leaders. Everything was about technologies. You couldn't approach the management...you had to do it via intramail. This job was very disappointing, provided I had a background in this area.

I have worked here for almost a year, and I have to say that I do not agree with a lot of these comments. My daughter was diagnosed with diabetes this year and has had a lot of health concerns. They have allowed me to take the necessary time off to take care of her since I have no one else to help me. Yes, they care about production and attendance...what successful business doesn't? HR is always available to help you with any problem, and it is fairly easy to move up the ladder financially speaking. I enjoy coming to work everyday and have fun while making my production goals.

In the height of the pandemic, they told everybody that only those with high production can work from home. If you wanted to work from home you had to get your production up. My mother lives with me who is 65 years old and has breathing issues. They basically said to me that they do not care. So I quit. I will never have a nice thing to say about this company. It's called HELLenet for a reason! I wasted 3 years of my life at this place.

It started off okay until they promoted this rude young punk kid that THOUGHT he could talk to me like he did everyone else. When I let him have it in an non aggressive manner, and I know it was not a aggressive manner because HR even said that I knew what and what not to say. Well as time went on he began to pick, he he changed my seat because HE OVER HEARD ME TALKING TO MY COWORKER WHILE ON HOLD WITH A CUSTOMER and from there the picking began and HR ALLOWED this pick to go on, then he started with the production thing, which I asked to be taken off a program bc Id seen them change their FAVORITES from one program to another. After I was told that I had to have a certain number by a certain time or I was going to be let go mind you it was a DEAD END PROGRAM. I decided it was time to go. I left went home one day and turned back around and went back up there to clear my desk. It didn't matter that they received numerous complaints against this BULLY OF A MANAGER they had his back and allowed his UNPROFESSIONALISM to go on but did not support their other employees.

Treat their employees like crap, you would have a more pleasant work experience at McDonalds (probably get paid more also), HR plays favorites with her friends.

Not the job for me at this moment but I loved the break system, and the people are great. A team effort environment. I guess it's the rejection of the job itself is what got at me the most. You may get 2 nice people to talk to you with over 75-100 calls. I loved my management as they were always helpful and thought about you individually as they could to help you strive! If there was a time I need a job again I may give it another try.

I have been with this company for 2 years and love it! I think that the bad comments you are reading are from the people that couldn't hack it on the telephone! Anytime I need HR they are always available. The break is great and you take it how you please! Just come to work on time and you will be good, If you have the gift of gab you will do well on the phones. Remember that most ratings are made from un-happy people that should not be listened to. If you need a second chance and are willing to put the work in this is a great place to work. Don;t come in here BS-ing and you will do just fine.

The only beneficial part of the job is the fact that you will learn about technology and you will take that with you. Production is stupid. Part of my job was to make sure the business's Dell rep was aware of future initiatives. If he or she was aware, well damn. If they don't have a rep then I get that one lead. Eventually, there will be no leads left, unless Dell Representatives are just laxy. Attendance doesn't really make sense. There is a ratio of prod/full work days (8 hrs) so by this algorithm, it actually looks better to work less. However, you'll be bothered until you don't give an expletive and do like I did. I'm going back to school for management information technology, but that's about all for the upside.
