Its perfect for that last stop to grab the things you forgot downtown

Recently (21st) I had cause to visit you once fine store, much as I have done in the past five years I have lived in Campbell Rive/Willow Point area. I am handicapped, due to a once broken back, and must use forearm crutches to get around, and use a backpack to hold groceries while I shop. I was at the bread display, and picked one loaf and put in my backpack and zipped it up in readiness to select another loaf. One of your erstwhile employees stocking the dairy section noticed my furtive actions. He waved frantically toward me, then came over and accused me of shoplifting a loaf of bread, and the action of zipping up my backpack confirmed his suspicions of that dastardly deed. No explanation on my part mollified his accusations. I then preceded to inform him, in no uncertain terms how upset I was at his accusations. He then banned me forever from the store and demanded that I vacate the store immediately, via the entrance and never darken your doorway again.(my terms). The language I used is not repeatable here.
I have been shopping all over Campbell River, Wally's, Thrifty's, Saveon, Super Store, and your store at Glenmore road in the manner discribed for instance, among others, and never once, ever, have I been accosted.
Am I missing something here? Thanks for your time.

Great little grocery store, they had free range turkeys in stock, not through order only like many others before Christmas.
Prices are pretty decent and it is a nice experience shipping there.

Excellent produce, meat and dairy selection for a smaller size grocery store. Staff are courteous and attentive and demonstrate that they appreciate your business. The main downside from a larger store is higher prices. They do their best to compete and survive.

Nice but small grocery store. A little more expensive than the big box but very convenient to where we live.

Good selection, but 'over priced'. You'll pay for the convenience of shopping in Willow Point. Drive to Campbell River if you have the transportation as you'll save more $.

Although I visit the store when in the area, I usually dont buy much, as there is often little in my budget range as a cost conscious shopper compared to some other grocery stores. I'd like to continue to shop local but I need greater enticement.

Items when you are in the the south end of town. Produce is fresh . A nice little deli and they do a great job of bringing on cashiers if there happens to be lines growing. The team is friendly and interested in assisting you. Parking is reasonable

Found it kinda pricey but not from CR so maybe it's on a par.

Every town needs to have a store like Discovery Foods. The staff are always welcoming, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.

Mid sized grocery store with all the essentials as well as a deli with a selection of meats, salads as well as some fried chicken

I have problems shopping at your store as I am a Celiac and I must shop where I can get food that accomodates my diet. If you had more gluten free options, I would be happy to frequent your store.

When I forget to buy wet dogfood downtown, this is where I go to get it.

Good in a pinch but 30 bucks for some bacon,eggs and a loaf of bread.....pay attention to prices.

Good little store for a quick shop. It s pretty small though so I wouldn t go here for anything but the bare essentials.

The best fresh meat on Vancouver Island, your not going to get a fresher Steak than at Discovery foods!

This is a locally owned grocery store! The service is amazing, everytime I'm there the Owner comes and greets me and shakes my hand and thanks me for shopping there! The produce is really fresh and the meat is great! They have everything you need. I highly recommend Discovery Foods!

I'm so disappointed that discovery foods would be ok to put the looks of this in a container to sell ( my husband paid 5$ for this mess) to a customer that chooses to shop there rather than Walmart or super store.
This is the second time Iv been sideswiped by this grocery store.
Clearly they are not that concerned about just one customer. I posted a picture of the blackened mess but it doesn't want to be seen here I guess.

A bit expensive but we pay for quality and location. They are local supporters and focused on the quality and freshness of their products. Not only is their staff happy n friendly they are there for us. Clean and fully staffed.

I was very disappointed I bought some keens mustard on sale when I got home I had some and it tasted awful I checked expirey date and it had expired 2 years ago

Wonderful local produce, meat and Dairy products. With knowledgeable friendly staff. The in-house sausage is the best in Campbell River.
