I would not use TekSystems ever again. Fake references, fake skills, & the quality of their staff is extremely low.
It's almost as if they pick random people off the street, buff up their resume and trick their clients into accepting their candidates.
Very bad, extremely negative employees. Have a very high pressure sales strategy. Clueless when it comes to knowledge of the position. Very judgmental and make you feel stupid. Not what you look for in a recruiter. It s like they hire sales people and if they can t sell you to employers, they put you in the trash. Stay away.
I'm very grateful for the help Tek's recruiter, Jordan Li, has given me. He helped guide me through the entire process and was always very transparent and upfront about what was happening. He gave me good advice about what to do when I had multiple offers but was waiting on my current company to officially send the offer. He turned a very stressful experience into a manageable one. Compared to other recruiters I worked with, Jordan actually cares about my best interests, while other recruiters seemed like they didn't care if I was happy - only that I got the job and made them money. I definitely recommend considering Tek if you need a job in the tech world!

I was asked to be a reference for a friend going through this agency. I was given this large questionnaire that was not easy to fill out and a huge waste of time for me to just "confirm my friend is hardworking and that I would hire again".
Also that friend was quite disappointed due to the lack of communication and direction of the entire process. "no heads up or what to expect next"
I will say the recruiter that was emailing me was polite and patient while I was working on that massive questionnaire to be a "reference"

I have worked with TEK since 2008 and they have been excellent. They have strong relationships with the major accounts in Metro Vancouver and the quality of roles they present is very high. They are constantly looking out for the best interests of their contract partners and helping them find positions to pursue their professional interests and goals. Every employee I have engaged with conduct themselves professionally and go above and beyond to represent the needs of its partners.
I have been working with Tek Systems Canada as a Senior Software Engineer for the past 6 months. I would definitely recommend them, as they have helped me every step of the way. Very prompt in responding to every query.
I would especially love to give a shoutout to Zoe Atkinson who has been my point of contact. She is very competent and always is very responsive to all queries. I have recently moved to Vancouver and because of her timely help in all things, the move has been very smooth and my work was unaffected.

After many correspondences with one of the employees of this company, she did not reply to my emails at once and it has been about 4 months that the employee of that company is still active on LinkedIn and reads my messages and there is no response. could you believe that? She is active but no answer
The only answer the company gave me was that
"we are sorry"

I'm working on my first contract with TEKsystems and the experience has been terrific. Throughout the recruitment process, I was receiving regular update from the recruiter, Kaitlan Dituri. All members of the TEKsystems team whom I ve met are very professional. They are quite opposite to some of the staff of other agencies who do not follow up or provide any update on their part of the candidates selection process which they had said they would do. I also appreciate the regular check-ins as well as receiving and relaying positive feedback from the client manager to me. The prompt weekly payment is also better than any of the other agencies that I had work with. Thanks very much for all your help.
I started to work with TEKsystems last year in Edmonton. This is my second contract with them but now in Victoria B.C. The support that I have had has been excellent in both contracts . Definitively, I recommend TEKsystems .

Quality of service is much lower compared to other recruitment agencies - I've not seen a recruiter get the role of the job wrong, among other mistakes. Not very open to suggestions of feedbacks either. Sorry, but can't suggest this agency. I've seen the Toronto branch have similar unprofessional behaviour.
The Tek team is excellent to work with. Great communication skills, and genuinely devoted to helping their clients succeed. I wouldn't hesitate to work with them again.
The team is a strong bridge between IT clients and professionals. They are helping not only on assigning individuals, but also on building teams full of experts.
I run a web development business and have had TEKsystems call my office on a number of occasions asking to talk to my employees about job opportunities. I can't believe how unprofessional they are. As an employer, I would never use a recruiter that used these kind of tactics. At least do your homework and find personal contact information for the people you are trying to recruit and not just call up the company they work for and ask to speak to them.
They are the worst recruiters I know so far. They don't know how to communicate properly especially Audrey.

The past 6 months had been my first foray into job seeking and working with recruiters. TEKsystems has been clearly a cut above the rest. I hold them in high regard, especially because of the great experience and support my recruiting specialist Christina has given. From the beginning she genuinely reached out with my best interests in mind to help enable me to progress in my career and find the next 'best fitting' role. Throughout the matching process, Christina had given me timely updates and check-ins. When opportunities were available, Christina connected me with valuable insight and connections who helped fill in the gaps in order to best prepare for interviews. Post filling the role, Christina continued to provide support and check-ins, and continued meet-ups. Honestly, it has been a wonderful experience and a pleasure to work with Christina. I knew beforehand that the recruitment world can be hit or miss, and it really depends on the agency. Almost exclusively, many other agencies are there to fill a headcount without your interests in mind. Most don't even bother to meet you in person and just want to submit your resume to prospective clients. Even if you "bite", and then it turns out you're not a match, you'll never hear from them again. TEKsystems was clearly the opposite, and I would highly recommend them. You would be prudent to give them an opportunity to see how they can help you.
So far I have had only positive experiences with both of the agents I have come across at TEKsystems. Recently, I have had the pleasure of working with Omid Ghodsipour. So far so good.

Professional company in the US and has the same standards over in Canada. Swarndeep Gill was very professional and helped me find what I was looking for.
Was contacted by a recruiter asking me if I was seeking new opportunities.
I was asked to meet in person and the recruiter mentioned that their process requires to meet the candidate in person and he was willing to come and visit me closer to my residence. This seemed a bit odd and I said I will meet him in person and scheduled a time for it. We met up and he went over my current work situation and my next career move/salary expectations. It all seemed like a trap only to find out what I am doing and how much salary/hourly rate I am getting currently. It seemed liked they are passing on this information to someone/some third party hiring team/manager to find out what the candidate is doing trying to find the next job. This recruiter didn't not follow up with me nor contacted me until I reached out to him after 10 days when he initially said that he will present my skillset to his manager and the potential client. I am not even sure if these recruiters have valid HR and administration degree or qualify to become recruiters. In Canada/US any person who worked as a sales rep or cust agent at Costco, Save on food, Safeway, Canadian tire who have no valid qualifications/certifications to become HR personnel are becoming recruiters. This is an unprofessional process of hiring potential candidates.
