We are above middle age couple and we know how to value customer service when we receive it as it getting more rare these days. The least we can say is these guys who work at tech depot have ton of experience (we looked them up over 10 years in business) and it shows with their understanding their patience and flexibility. While It is not all about price like what most people care about these days, we got the best price possible on Two Samsung phones with all our data transferred. Love this store and we do truly recommend it. Service is awesome and Prices are great.

Their service is good, they are friendly and knowledgeable. Their prices are average compared to competition.

I just called to inquire if they could sell me a new screen for my iPhone 5s. They told me it is $80.00 to have the screen replaced including installation. I asked if they would just sell me the screen, as I am a techie and can replace the screen myself. They advised me they would not sell me the part only, but would only sell it to me if they did the labour too.

FURTHERMORE I am the I.T. manager of a company with 21 iphones and 21 ipads in the field.

THIS COULD HAVE BEEN the start of a great repair relationship.. but NO !! ...

I have been a customer of TechDepot for about 5 years now, i have always had an enjoyable experience, the customer service is top notch and the guys can repair just about anything and trust me ive had more than a few accidents with my phones. If you are looking for quality products at a cant beat you price, then here is where you need to be. A good variety of products and a wide knowledge of the market with the we care attitude that most stores are lacking.

These guys are the worst they have no idea what they are doing. I went there to purchase a s10 screen protector and after they put it on my phone did not work. I asked for a refund they told me they were unable to do it because i paid debit.....

He told me to come back for a new one a week later and not even 2 days with this new screen protector it has peeled off. Please do not waste your time avoid this place at all costs

This place sucks period. I even told the staff their and the said "ye I know" which shows how bad their service is. Whatever you buy from them will only last less then a year and that whole years comes with struggling with that item. Goodluck if you choose to buy stuff their :)

My laptop turned off overnight and wouldn't turn back on. Turns out the motherboard fried. I went to a lot of repair shops to get a price/time estimate and they were a bit high. Thought of visitng Ahmed from TechDepot since he sold me a flawlessly working iPhone for below market price and I remembered that they repair electronics too.
He gave me a very fair price and fixed the issue in only a couple weeks. He had to repair a couple other things on the laptop as well but kept the price fair as he promised. Also gave me a great warranty for it.
Overall very satisfied and definitely recommend them for anyone wanting to buy/repair electronics.

Great Guys, I purchased two phones and they did a restore and backup for both of them. Also gave me a deal on the phone cases.

My dad goes here to buy stuff, but I'm leaving a 1 star because they blatantly lie on advertisements. I have no idea why. I'm assuming it's to get people to come into the store?

Most recently there was an add on Kijiji from Tech Depot advertising iPhones (8, 8 Plus, X, etc.) for good prices. Even when I called to confirm they said those were the prices. But then in store they price is magically a $100 more than what was advertised or said on the phone.

Not sure why they think fake ads like that on Kijiji are an acceptable or ethical way of doing business. What a bummer.

Their services was great. Bought MacBook Pro and its a great computer. Definitely recommend this place.

Please read all.......The manager at tech depot is simply amazing; above and beyond. Got a S9 plus for a great price and all my info transferred from my broken phone . Thanks... (that's the comment the same manager wrote from my phone while doing the transfer) truth is that yes I got a phone at a good price but the manager was very tricky switching original pieces from the original box like headsets, power cable and the adapter for similar but no original pieces. I experienced a lot of problems later with the phone telling me to connect the original parts. I had to buy all the parts again...somewhere else of course. Be careful in this store.... he is too fast with his hands so you dont notice what is he doing.

Great tech place. lost all my data on my cellphone. they helped me get all my pictures and data back and they transfered all my data to my new iphone. Thank u guys . Knowledgeable staff and very helpful.

I was very pleased with the service. The Tech Depot employees were upfront, honest and provided me with the right guidance when I purchased my new mobile phone. I initially had some issues with my network carrier and after several hours on the phone with my network carrier, they could not resolve the issue. Luckily, when I returned back to Tech Depot, the employees were super responsive and resolved the issue for me promptly. I highly recommend Tech Depot Woodbridge. It is comforting to have a place where I can get support, as opposed to always using a remote agent and its always great to support your local business.

Quick phone repair for cracked screen at a very reasonable price compared to other cell phone repair shops. I was even given a discount from the agreed upon price after the repair was done. They also have many cell phones and electronics for sale, new and used, at better prices than major retailers. Great experience overall and I will certainly be back.

I Went in today to Tech Depot to by a MacBook, the sales representative was very helpful and knowledgeable on the ins and outs of all MacBooks. That are so technical because they do all in house apple MacBooks repairs as well

I own a Dell Xps 13 which I highly prize and use for travel and photo editing. One morning, I noticed that the touchpad was slightly askew. I brought it to a computer repair shop in Penetanguishene and they told me that the battery had swelled. I inquired into the cost of replacement and they told me that they were not comfortable attempting to fix it as it would most likely take an indefinite period of time to find a compatible battery to replace the one in my Xps. So, they charged me 70.00 for their assessment and I was returned my defective laptop, which I did not wish to use, because of the swollen battery that may leak.
I phoned Tech Depot and explained the back story and they told me they would try their best to get my laptop back in tip top shape. I dropped it off, and that day was given an estimate of 240.00, which I agreed to, and gave them the go ahead. With the assumption that they would have my laptop for at least a couple of weeks in an attempt to find the compatible battery, I was pleasantly surprised, when two days later, I receive a call from them letting me know the laptop was ready for pick up. Not only was the repair completed promptly , the bill was reduced from 240.00 to 180.00. When gladfully paying, the manager gave me another 3 percent discount on the repair, and a 5 percent discount on a phone charger.
So, all in all, a pretty awesome service for a laptop that I had thought was a lost cause, and I am again able to use my laptop with confidence, instead of contemplating selling it for parts or as a defective unit.
I recommend Tech Depot and will use their business for any future issues that arise relating to laptop and phone repair.

Last year, my laptop s SSD got fried and the laptop itself would not boot up properly. Upon attempting to get it fixed somewhere near home I was told that the data was unrecoverable and therefore I lost all of my school work. The best fix at the time was to replace the SSD, and therefore replace my data with a blank slate. Fast forward to this year and unfortunately the same issue happened to my laptop. This time I decided to try a different location than before in case they had a different approach and so I came to Tech Depot. Within one day they were able to recover the data from the fried SDD and transfer it to a new one which was then placed into my laptop. As a result, I was able to recover all my previously thought lost files in a timely manner and therefore no longer had reasons to worry about the issue. Additionally, I was given knowledge about ways to avoid a problem such as this in the future. I would highly recommend Tech Depot to anyone with electronics issues.

Drove in from Cambridge to purchase a laptop for my son. Our experience was nothing short of excellent. The service was super friendly and he's very happy with the Macbook Air!!

This store has the most amazing, friendly, professional, honest and trustworthy employees and manager.
They try their best to fix your device(s) at the best price or give you another option.
Which in the end for me the other option worked out way cheaper for me and I'm beyond happy.
I'm not only happy about my laptop but with the amazing service I received.
This is the only TECH STORE anyone should go to. You won't regret it.

Bought a "new" battery for my iphone 4s to replace a old battery that was starting to go. When i got home i found out that new battery purchased did not work, when i returned with receipt in hand they did not accept it and accused me of bringing an old battery because the one i am trying to return "was at least 10 years old and i did not buy it from them" accused me of being a scammer several times and laughed at my truthful complaint

i have been a customer for a long time but will not be going back or purchasing anything from them again. They refused to give me my money back or even exchange for an actual new battery.. did not admit any fault or possible mistake just accused me of being a scammer for a 30$ battery.

Very unorganized.
As a FedEx drop off/shipping they don t know where packages are or a willing to look up anything to help.
Also spent 5 minutes waiting in the store while an associate was simply taking inventory!
I don t get the feeling these guys are customer-oriented.
There s other authorized FedEx depots in the immediate area and you would be better served to spend the extra 5 min and use those.
It would have been 1 star, but my sample size is 1 visit and perhaps the employees were all having a bad Saturday.
Update: I called FedEx - package was at this location, just label was covered... thank you for FexEx support, not great to this location for not serving the customer properly.

Got my acer nitro 5 screen replaced here. The screen i chose was high quality and I am happy with the service. Communication could have been a bit better but thats fine.

Upon first arriving, I was welcomed by a nice person working there. I informed them that I spilt liquid on my laptop and he said he would have a look at it and give me a call. The manager there is very nice and thoughtful. Offered me a discount on my keyboard. It took around about 2 weeks for the laptop to be completely finished. The only thing i would say that I did not like was the fact that they don't update you on whats going on with the laptop, instead you have to call them and ask whats going on. Other than that I would recommeded this place, really friendly staff.

The manager waited had the item on hold for me and waited after closing hour until 8 as they close at 7pm on Christmas eve

I went to 3 different places to check out prices to fix my phone. They all quoted me $30-$50 more I got it fixed here for much cheaper and got great service. Definitely better then best buy both in service and price. To this day didn't find a better store

What an outfit this is. Right in Woodbridge Ontario. You ever get the feeling your getting scammed. I have been to this place several times. Wanted to buy a phone and the price changed all 3 times I went in. the young staff have so much to learn about customer service and respect. The guy that was helping me and talking to me, had a friend walk in, then completely ignored me. I turned looked at him, waved and walked out. Another time the young fellow I was talking to, seems to think he know everything and was trying to tell me that an Iphone 4 works with wind bahahahahahaha. They just want to sell sell sell. I was in there 3 times and am so glad I didn't buy anything. Stay away from this shady place.

My experience with this shop has been amazing. I went there last minute on May 11th around after 6pm, as my laptop crashed and I had a work related meeting at 10 in the morning. Ahmed and his team worked expeditiously to get my laptop up and running and I was able to pickup by 8:30pm. This service is simply amazing! I was using them for a FedEx drop-off.

The guy complained when I brought my item in, saying they don't take anything after 7:30pm even though FedEx's website and FedEx's customer service reps said they take items until they close at 8:30pm. He still took it but was a bit ticked off. He got over it and my item eventually got delivered so all was okay in the end.
